Opis:: Der Artikel untersucht, wie rechte Diskursgemeinschaften auf Social Media im Kontext von Flucht, Migration und Islam sprachlich und visuell konstruiert werden. Das PEGIDA-Facebook-Korpus mit Userkommentaren (2014–2015), das PolRrA-Korpus mit rechtspopulistischen Reden (2016–2017) und das Instagram-Korpus mit dem Hashtag #identitäre (2019–2020) mit Postings und Userkommentaren bilden die Datenbasis. Die Datenbasis besteht somit aus verschiedenen sprachbasierten und multimodalen Einheiten. Ziel ist es, zu zeigen, wie rechte Diskursgemeinschaften in Deutschland durch Wir-Sie-Relationen, Benennungspraktiken und visuelle Muster im Zeitverlauf und plattformübergreifend konstruiert werden.
The article examines how right-wing discourse communities are linguistically and visually constituted in social media in the context of flight, migration and Islam. The PEGIDA Facebook Corpus covering user comments (2014–2015), the PolRrA Corpus containing right-wing populist speeches (2016–2017) and the Instagram Corpus of the hashtag #identitäre (2019–2020) with postings and user comments are the data basis. Thus the corpus consists of different language-based and multimodal entities. The aim is to show how right-wing discourse communities in Germany are constituted by us-you relations, naming practices and visual patterns across time, platform and organization.

Opis:: Die Corona-Krise hat zu schweren inneren Konflikten und gesellschaftlicher Spaltung in vielen Ländern der Welt geführt. Diese Spaltung wird zu einem großen Teil durch antagonistische diskursive Praktiken hergestellt, vertieft und reproduziert. Dieser Beitrag unternimmt den Versuch die theoretischen Grundlagen für die Analyse und Beschreibung der konkurrierenden Diskurslager und die Bedingungen ihrer Entstehung zu erarbeiten. Dabei sollen die theoretische Trennlinie zwischen der traditionellen politischen Diskurstheorie under der linguistischen Kommunikationsanalyse aufgehoben und vielversprechende methodische Ansätze für die Analyse multimodaler Ressourcen und ihres kommunikativen Gebrauchs in den mit der Corona-Krise assoziierten Diskursen aufgezeigt werden.
The Corona crisis has led to internal conflict and the creation of enormous societal chasms in many countries of the world that would have been unthinkable a year ago. This divide is in large part being created, reproduced and deepened through ongoing antagonistic discursive practices. This article aims at outlining the theoretical groundwork for the analysis and description of the resulting discursive camps and the facilitating processes. It endeavors to bridge the theoretical gap between traditional political discourse theory and linguistic communication analysis and show promising methodological pathways for forensic analysis of multimodal resources and their communicative use in the current Corona associated discourses.

Opis:: Im Artikel wird am Beispiel von LeserInnenkommentaren im Schweizer Online-Newsportal watson.ch der Frage nachgegangen, inwiefern sich bei Online-Communities Merkmale von traditionaler Vergemeinschaftung (sensu Max Weber) nachzeichnen lassen und ob sich das Konzept der Diskursgemeinschaft(en) damit in Verbindung bringen lässt. Dafür wird der Begriff der Diskursgemeinschaft zunächst im widersprüchlichen Spannungsfeld zwischen sprach- und sozialwissenschaftlichen Gemeinschaftsverständnissen verortet. Anschliessend wird anhand ausgewählter Kommentare untersucht, wie sich klassische Vergemeinschaftungsmerkmale in Kommentarforen auf empirischer Ebene manifestieren. Abschliessend wird ein Lösungsvorschlag skizziert, wie die Systemtheorie nach Niklas Luhmann die Aporien zwischen verschiedenen on- und offline Vergemeinschaftungsformen überbrücken und damit einen integrativen Rahmen für die konfligierenden Gemeinschaftsverständnisse der klassischen Soziologie und der Diskursanalyse anbieten kann.
Using examples from comment sections in the Swiss online news site watson.ch, we investigate the question whether such online reader communities show traces of communal relationships (in the sense of Max Weber) and if such an understanding is compatible with the concept of discourse communities. To this end, we first outline the conflicting theoretical assumptions that linguistic and sociological understandings of communities imply for the concept of discourse communities. Afterwards, we use selected online reader comments to show how traditional features of community formation can be detected empirically in the comment section. To conclude, we argue that Niklas Luhmann’s systems theory can serve as a framework to integrate different types of community formation processes on an empirical and a theoretical level.

Opis:: In diesem Artikel werden Besonderheiten der politischen Kommunikation vorgestellt. In der Forschung ist man sich einig, dass politische Sprache keine Fachsprache oder Varietät im traditionellen Sinne ist. Dennoch hat es Versuche gegeben, Merkmale des politischen Sprachgebrauchs genauer zu definieren. Solche Versuche stammen aus dem linguistischen Teilgebiet der „Politolinguistik“, dessen Geschichte kurz beschrieben wird, um die methodischen Fortschritte dieser Disziplin zu skizzieren. Schließlich gibt der Beitrag einen Überblick über wichtige Forschungsergebnisse der Politolinguistik und über Diskurse, die für die Kommunikationsgeschichte der Bundesrepublik Deutschland von langfristiger Bedeutung sind und waren.
In this article, special features of political communication are presented. Researchers agree that political language is not a technical language or variety in the traditional sense. Nevertheless, there have been attempts to define the characteristics of political language use more precisely. Such attempts originate from the linguistic subfield of „politolinguistics“, whose history is briefly described in order to outline the methodological advances of this discipline. Finally, the article provides an overview of important research results in politolinguistics and of discourses that are and have been of long-term importance for the history of communication in the Federal Republic of Germany.
