El objetivo del artículo es estudiar cuestiones de corrección idiomática que aparecen en el primer diccionario de mexicanismos, de autoría de un exiliado cubano. Sostenemos la hipótesis de que el diccionario puede arrojar datos interesantes por estar enfocado desde un prisma diferencial de un autor que fue hablante de otra modalidad latinoamericana del español. Al mismo tiempo, nos informa sobre la evolución del pensamiento lingüístico en la época relacionado con cuestiones de la normatividad. Finalmente, recoge una polémica que mantenía el autor con otro lexicógrafo cubano, lo que hasta cierto puede relativizar el valor de la obra como el primer diccionario de mexicanismos
The aim of the paper is to focus on topics of correct language usage that is presented in the first dictionary of Mexican Spanish, composed by a Cuban emigrant. The hypothesis is that the dictionary can offer interesting data on contrast between Mexican and Cuban Spanish, as its author was speaker of different regional variety of the language. At the same time, it is interesting to see the evolution of linguistic thinking at the time of its composition related with normativity in usage. Finally, it contains a debate maintained by the author with another Cuban lexicographer, that would actually relativize its status as a first dictionary of Mexican Spanish. - Źródło:
