    Politeness is a phenomenon that has recently been linguistically studied. These are linguistic forms and formulas that can be used in certain communication situations. The so-called pragmatic component plays an important role here. This is particularly evident in the case of interspecific confrontation. This can be helped by bilingual lexicographical works, which can be of great help to all a foreign language learner. The article discusses the advantages of the recently published lexicographical works of Małgorzata Marcjanik, Silvia Bonacchi, and Agnieszka Frączek: Polsko-niemiecki słownik etykiety językowej.

    In the article the emotion of love is discussed, based on reference books for travelers. Selected phrasebooks for German and Polish users were researched, starting from their first issues dating back to the 16th century to new publications from the early 21st century. The aim of the paper is to establish, whether in the phrasebooks, which in principle present language behavior in typical everyday life situations, love motifs are present, and whether there are any differences in this area in the perspective of time. In addition, picture motifs, which are related to the above mentioned topic, are also briefly discussed here.

    This article refers to lacuna as an ethnopsycholinguistic research category. Absolute language lacunas, which are revealed in the comparison of the German and Polish language and culture in relation to lexis, will be characterized in more detail. Their presence is both a sign and a cause of non-equivalence. They can be eliminated in the delacunisation process by applying concrete translation strategies.

    Obwohl nach Marx/Weidacher (2014:91ff.) von keiner Internet-Sprache die Rede sein kann, ist leider die in Diskussionen und Kommentaren auf Facebook, Twitter oder Weblogs genutzte Sprache, oft gefüllt von beleidigenden, hassvollen Wörtern und Ausdrücken. Genau diese Art von Sprache wird als Hasssprache (auch Hassrede) genannt. Im folgenden Beitrag wird die Hasssprache am Beispiel von deutschen, dänischen und polnischen Facebook-Kommentaren zum Terroranschlag in Manchester (Mai 2017) analysiert. Es wurde eine qualitative Analyse durchgeführt, indem die Stellungnahmen in Bezug auf die dort vorkommenden Wörter und Wendungen, die in allen drei genannten Sprachen als beleidigend betrachtet werden, untersucht werden. Ich versuche dabei, folgende Fragen zu beantworten: Welche sprachlichen Mittel sind für die Kommentare charakteristisch? Sind irgendwelche von diesen Mitteln speziell bevorzugt? Welches Ziel möchten die Kommentierenden erreichen? Welche Inhaltsunterschiede lassen sich zwischen deutschen, dänischen und polnischen Kommentaren feststellen? Welche Aspekte des Inhalts berühren sie?
    language used in discussions and comments on Facebook, Twitter or weblogs often full of offensive, hateful words and expressions. It is precisely this type of language that is called hate speech. The following paper contains an qualitative analysis of comments, which appeared on Facebook in Germany, Denmark and Poland after the terrorist attack in Manchester in May this year. I try to find answer on following questions: Which linguistic methods are characteristic for such comments? Are some of these methods preferred? What are the authors of such comments trying to achieve? What are the differences between German, Danish and Polish comments? Which aspects of content do they touch?

    The research, conducted in 2021, constitutes a part of the dissertation I am preparing. I surveyed forty Polish high school students, twenty of whom are from Belarus and twenty from Ukraine (ten from eastern Ukraine and ten from western Ukraine). All the students were just beginning their education in Poland and their knowledge of Polish was at a basic level. The respondents repeated specific words after the teacher and independently read aloud sentences containing words that appeared in the first part of the study. In the first part of the article, I briefly describe the similarities and differences occurring in the segmental plane between Polish, Ukrainian, Belarusian and Russian, specifically between the pronunciation of the sounds [ɔ], [w] and [ʈ͡ʂ]. The second part of the article focuses on the most conspicuous results concerning the differences between the pronunciation of the sounds [ɔ], [w] and [ʈ͡ʂ] in Polish depending on the background of the respondents. I compared the results of respondents from Ukraine and Belarus, as well as the results of respondents from eastern and western Ukraine. Whether the words in question were repeated or read by the respondents was also an important factor. The main aim of the presented research is to help teachers of Polish as a foreign language to better understand the process of acquisition of Polish pronunciation by Slavic-speaking groups learning Polish depending on their country of origin, as well as to explain the reason for the pronunciation mistakes made by students coming from Ukraine and Belarus. The conclusions of the study are also intended to help in matching the appropriate teaching methodology for specific Slavic-speaking groups.
    Das Ziel des vorliegenden Beitrags ist es, die besonderen in meine Dissertation aufgenommene Ergebnisse der Forschung, die die Aussprache von Belarussen und Ukrainern im Polnischen beschreiben, zu erörtern. Im Jahr 2021 wurden vierzig polnische Oberschüler: innen, von denen zwanzig belarussischen Herkunft und zwanzig ukrainischen Herkunft untersucht. Wenn es sich um die Oberschüler ukrainischer Herkunft handelt, kommen zehn von ihnen aus westlichem Teil der Ukraine und zehn aus der Ostukraine hervor. Alle untersuchten Schüler: innen fingen ihre Ausbildung in Polen an. Sie beherrschten die polnische Sprache auf einem niedrigen Niveau. Die Sprecher: innen wiederholten nach der Lehrkraft bestimmte Wörter und lasen selbständig die Sätze vor, die in dem ersten Teil des vorliegenden Beitrags dargestellt wurden. Im ersten Teil der Arbeit wurden kurz die Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede beschrieben, die auf der segmentalen Ebene zwischen Polnisch, Ukrainisch, Belarussisch und Russisch auftreten. Der zweite Teil des Beitrags fokussiert sich auf Ergebnisse der Forschung, die die Unterschiede zwischen der Aussprache von Lauten [ɔ], [w] und [͡ʈʂ] im Polnischen in Abhängigkeit von der Herkunft der Untersuchte betreffen. Die Ergebnisse sowohl von Sprechern und Sprecherinnen ukrainischer und belarussischer Herkunft als auch west- und ostukrainischer Herkunft wurden miteinander verglichen. Die Tatsache, wie die Sprecher und Sprecherinnen die fragilen Wörter gelesen und wiederholt haben, bildete einen weiteren, aber auch wichtigen Faktor für diese Untersuchung. Der Schwerpunkt der vorliegenden Forschung ist es, den Lehrern für Polnisch als Fremdsprache auszuhelfen, den Vorgang des Erwerbs von polnischer Aussprache durch Polnisch lernenden ostslawische Sprachbesitzer in Abhängigkeit von ihrem Herkunftsland, kennen zu lernen und besser zu verstehen, sowie die Gründe für die Aussprachefehler von Schülern ukrainischer und belarussischer Herkunft zu erklären. Aus dieser Forschung resultierende Ergebnisse sollten auch bei der Anpassung von entsprechender Lehrmethodik für bestimmte slawischsprachige (in diesem Fall ostslawischsprachige) Gruppen helfen.

    The purpose of this article is to present a book on teaching the phraseology of the Polish language, addressed to foreign students studying at Polish universities. This publication is a phraseological dictionary (glossary), compiled by a team of students, edited by Joanna Wozniak, Elzbieta Dziurewicz and Agnieszka Pasik: “Ubierz to w słowa – studencka frazeologia praktyczna dla uczących się języka polskiego jako obcego / ‘Put it into words’ – student practical phraseology for foreign learners”, published in 2023 in Poznan in the Rys publishing house, also available online on the website of this publishing house. This article discusses the assumptions of the presented publication and its content in the context/perspective of glottodidactics in comparison with previous phraseological research. The book consists of two parts: an introduction and a lexicographical study, which includes a description of 120 phraseological units that are used today by students in their everyday communication. The scheme of lexicographic description of phraseological units, developed by the authors of the glossary, is of a model nature. The research procedures used (criteria for the selection of material, determination of the number of headwords and their ordering) yielded results of great cognitive value. The dictionary presented here is a successful result of cooperation between students and academics, and is also a valuable teaching aid, supporting the teaching of Polish phraseology.
    In diesem Artikel wird ein Buch über die Vermittlung der polnischen Phraseologie vorgestellt, das sich an ausländische Studenten richtet, die an polnischen Universitäten studieren. Bei der Publikation handelt es sich um ein phraseologisches Wörterbuch (Glossar), das von einem Studententeam zusammengestellt und von Joanna Woźniak, Elżbieta Dziurewicz und Agnieszka Pasik herausgegeben wurde: „Ubierz to w słowa – studencka frazeologia praktyczna dla uczących się języka polskiego jako obcego / ‘Put it into words’ – student practical phraseology for foreign learners”, veröffentlicht im Jahr 2023 in Poznań im Rys-Verlag, auch online auf der Website dieses Verlags verfügbar. In diesem Beitrag werden die Annahmen der präsentierten Veröffentlichung und ihr Inhalt im Kontext / aus der Perspektive der Glottodidaktik im Vergleich zu bisherigen phraseologischen Forschungen diskutiert. Das Buch besteht aus zwei Teilen: einer Einleitung und einer lexikographischen Studie, die eine Beschreibung von 120 Phraseologismen enthält, die derzeit von Studenten in ihrer täglichen Kommunikation verwendet werden. Das von den Autoren des Glossars entwickelte Schema der lexikographischen Beschreibung von Phraseologismen hat Modellcharakter. Die angewandten Forschungsverfahren (Kriterien für die Auswahl des Materials, Bestimmung der Anzahl der Stichwörter und ihrer Anordnung) haben zu Ergebnissen von großem kognitiven Wert geführt. Das hier vorgestellte Wörterbuch ist ein gelungenes Ergebnis der Zusammenarbeit zwischen Studenten und Akademikern und stellt auch ein wertvolles didaktisches Hilfsmittel dar, das den Unterricht der polnischen Phraseologie unterstützt.
