Opis:
Wireless acoustic sensor networks (WASN) usually demand uninterrupted and reliable data transmissions and an efficient path from the source nodes to the destination nodes, thus ensuring reliable delivery of sensitive or critical data with the use of multipath routing protocols. This paper presents a novel agent-driven WASN relying on a set of static and mobile agents. In the proposed technique, the location address is functioned into the operating node and the destination node. Calculations of the midpoint between the operating and the destination nodes are followed by identifying the shortest path based on a reference axis, using a mobile agent and a location address. Such an approach aims to ensure maximum utilization of the communicating paths. Based on the information concerning partial topology of the network, the destination node computes the weight factor and multiple paths using node distances, energy ratios and efficiencies of specific links. Then, the destination node selects the appropriate path from the multiple paths available, to transmit the data. This article also analyzes the performance of the proposed system with various parameters taken into consideration and shows its efficiency in comparison to other existing techniques.

Opis:
The article focuses on software technology used to provide a more engaging and exciting learning environment for students by introducing a variety of quizzes. Presently, quiz development can range from simple multiple-choice questions, true or false, drag-and-drop, dropdown menu selections, to 3D interactive techniques. This study introduces a systematic way of creating an engaging application using emotion modeling. Emotion models are being introduced in order to collect and model the systems’ meaningful emotional needs. According to the findings, agent-oriented modeling is capable of modeling the emotional requirements of a system and of transforming these into a specific solution enabling to rapidly prototype an engaging system. A quantitative study has been performed on the novel approach to determine the feasibility of the proposed methodology in terms of analyzing, designing, and developing engaging applications.

Opis:
Croatian national health ICT implementation strategy is determined by Croatian national health strategy and plan, Croatian ICT development strategy for 21st century, and requirements specifications for the health information system. National health ICT implementation strategy components are accented: purpose of the ICT implementation strategy, information principles, needs and ICT enablement in domains of patients, healthcare professionals, policymakers and managers and public. Telemedicine and telecare positions and implementation steps are described. Based on the determinants, three organizational levels have been established - government, ministerial and project levels. General architecture of Croatian healthcare information system and respective pilot projects and results of pilot implementations as well as national ICT environmental accelerators for health ICT implementations are presented.
