Opis:: The development processes of instruction e-content (CAI, CAL) several crucial principles has to be considered both for a computer science environment and for methodology of teaching [3][4]. Interactivity belongs to these factors of characteristic features that provide the user with various measures allowing controlling the study progress and knowledge quality analysis of the application user. A specific distance - learning interfaces are implemented not only for educational resources development but also for special services of Internet databases distribution. They provide the users with monitoring facilities and measures indicating the user self-education level with his ability of working in Virtual University.

Opis:: The paper concerns e-content characteristic features development to be used in Internet distance learning database. The elaborated e-applications development platform; Multimedia Applications Management Shell (MAMS) was elaborated for simplification of the application structure and for management of the unit. The MAMS platform works together with Quality Repetitions Unit (QRU) that controls the application flow and its repetition. Then, it produces the status of the application transmitted into the user personal data record. Both platforms provide the user with several standards, formats, objects and toll boxes used as an e-learning system library. The standardisation simplifies the application development and the application exploration. The defined standards are needed for Distance Learning System organisation that is at present under development at the University of Silesia.

Opis:: In our paper we present the INDIPHASO [1] e-learning system for the design of digital systems implemented using FPGAs or CPLDs. The system allows users to access remotely, from a computer connected to the Internet, developing boards based on programmable logic circuits and microcontrollers in order to implement their designs. The paper describes the way the users can access the software tools in order to perform the steps in a predefined or a custom design flow. The three described methods provide different levels of accessibility and possibility of design flow configuration.

Opis:: The paper is an attempt to show how to introduce elements of distance teaching in philology studies. The key feature of these studies is that the most frequent method of education are workshops and seminars, at which the master-student relationship dominates and the direct thought exchange is fundamental and irreplaceable by any other form of the didactic offer. It appears however, that new technologies can be made use of, along with certain types of distance teaching, despite troubles with breaching the psychological barrier and technical problems. The paper gives factual results of such attempts, illustrating them with products created by lecturers and students. The presentation focuses on the effects of using the new technologies at B.A. and master’s degree seminars on methods of foreign language teaching, literature and linguistics in the past two years, at the Institute of Roman Philology.
