Opis:
Multi-modal transport means the transport of the objects through at least two different carriers of any combination of simple tasks of transport carriers (by truck, by train, by ship or by plane). A Semi-Markov (SM) model of multi-modal transport operation is presented in the article. The SM process is defined by the renewal kernel of that one. In our model, time to failure of the operation is represented by a random variable that denotes the first passage time from the given state to the subset of states. The duration of one operation cycle is a random variable representing the return time to the initial state. The appropriate theorems of the Semi-Markov processes theory allow us to calculate characteristics and parameters of the transport operation model. The article presents the example of the transport operation final part of container with cargo from Warsaw to Stockholm, where from Warsaw to Gdynia, the container is transported by lorry, from Gdynia to Karlscorona by ferry and from Karlscorona to Stockholm by truck.

Opis:
The procedure for calculation of a car maximal acceleration during speeding up with changing shifts of a gearbox in dependence on several independent parameters has been presented in the paper.  The parameters taken into consideration are the angle of a road slope and the additional vehicle load. The maximal acceleration for investigated vehicle category has been calculdted on the basis of many numerical simulations. During these simulations the dynamics of vehicle motion has been modelled for different road conditions. In order to approximate the results of acceleration the power polynomials were applied.  The least sąuare method has been used in calculations of polynomial coefficients. The results of modelling of the vehicles dynamics concern two passenger cars and one heavy duty car. Simulations of speeding up were obtained using the model of vehicle dynamics. Especially, model of vehicle, the traction characteristic of the passenger car with SI engine, the maximal driving force on  wheels during vehicle acceleration calculated on the basis of traction characteristic,   the maximal acceleration of the passenger cars and according to the model of vehicle dynamics during speeding up with changing shifts of a gearbox in dependence on different parameters of road slope and vehicle load are presented in the paper.

The duty of applying recorders in the road transport was implemented in states of the European Union on regulations (EWG) no. 3820 / 85 on harmonisations of some social welfare legislation referring to the transport, which was changing with regulation (EWG) no. 3821 / 85 on recorders applied in the road transport. The preamble unequivocally that in order to ensure effective control of the recording devices used in road transport, they must be reliable, easy to use and constructed to minimize any possibility of fraud. The duty of implementation of the digital tachograph is also considered in the context of improving road safety. Through the analysis of the records of the registering devices can be defined in each specific case of speeding by more than the allowable value in the area. Technical requirements for your device recorded in the resolution, which defines the main parameters, are measured, among things other, the traversed path length of the car, speed, time driving, other periods of work, politeness of the driver and the correct operation of the check authorized for those authorities. The duty of States-members of the European Union is identify organizations that will conduct research and verification of the recording equipment together will also introduce solutions that improve their security. This article contains responsibilities after part rest on the drivers of vehicles takes the issues of system security and optimum performance of recording devices and consequences may arise from non-compliance with regulations and them subjecting to tachograph manipulation.
