Opis:
Sustainable economic and industrial growth requires safe, sustainable resources of energy. For the future rearrangement of a sustainable economy to biological raw materials, completely new approaches in research and development, production, and economy are necessary. The biofuels produced from the renewable resources could help to minimize the fossil fuel burning and CO2 production. Biofuels produced from biomass such as plants or organic waste could help to reduce both the world’s dependence on oil and CO2 production. These biofuels have the potential to cut CO2 emission because the plants they are made from use CO2 as they grow. Biofuels and bio products produced from plant biomass would mitigate global warming. The ‘first-generation’ biofuels appear unsustainable because of the potential stress that their production places on food commodities. For organic chemicals and materials these needs to follow a biorefinery model under environmentally sustainable conditions. Where these operate at present, their product range is largely limited to simple materials (i.e. cellulose, ethanol, and biofuels). Second generation biorefineries need to build on the need for sustainable chemical products through modern and proven green chemical technologies such as bioprocessing including pyrolysis, Fisher Tropsch, and other catalytic processes in order to make more complex molecules and materials on which a future sustainable society will be based. The article presents the basic processes of converting liquid and gaseous biofuels and second-generation.

Opis:
The article presented forecasts for European biofuel production in processes BtL and WtL on the basis of thermochemical technological path. The paper presents the processes of pyrolysis and gasification of biomass leading to the preparation of liquid hydrocarbon fractions in the synthesis of Fischer-Tropsch and processes HTU. Based on the model Koufopanosa, made the right choice of methods to investigate the thermogravimetric kinetics of biomass gasification with a change of enthalpy and identification of degradation products in real time. Presents the results of preliminary tests conducted on the Simultaneous Thermal Analyzer STA 449 F3 Jupiter's Nietzsche. These studies were carried out for samples of cereal straw, crushed to a state of dry dust. Gasification process by subjecting the sample, the test set, recorded curves TG and DSC, and observing the changes in mass, temperature and enthalpy. These studies have been done to pre-determine the conditions under which it may begin the process of liquidation. The study was conducted in an atmosphere of argon / nitrogen and argon / carbon dioxide. The temperature regime provided that the samples were heated to the temperature of500 °C at the heating rate of 3 K/min. Argon was used as protective gas, and N2 and CO2 - as purge gas with flow rates of 30 ml/min. The results, along with discussion, are presented in graphs -derivatograms and charts showing the cumulative weight changes and changes in enthalpy of individual samples.

Opis:
The paper presents an evaluation of the various quality parameters of biofuels used to power diesel engines and engines, including the current findings in this regard made to the Scientific Committee for the Affairs of the World Wide Fuel Charter. Characterizes the requirements for ethanol and methyl esters of fatty acids, presented in addition to the fourth edition of WWFC, published in March 2009. Characterized the basic problems of storage, distribution, and operation of FAME and ethanol as a first-generation biofuels. Also presents the basic operating conditions resulting from the research for these fuels. Presents the future prospects of biofuels for motor set in the Roadmap for Biofuels for Transport, developed by the International Energy Agency, including fuels derived from syngas, using solar energy ("solar fuels") and furan derivatives. Characterized the need for changes in the classification of biofuels and make them permanent division of conventional biofuels (previously used) and the preferred biofuels in the future - advanced biofuel. Also presents general guidelines for the biorefinery. The possibilities of performance in the application bioDME as a biofuel for diesel engines.
