Recent development of SPICE, FEM and MoM software often requires the fast and reliable description of BH saturation magnetization curve. In spite of the fact that physical models of BH saturation curve are very sophisticated, for technical purposes, such curve may be modelled by simplified equations. Paper presents the quantitative assessment of the quality of four technical models of BH saturation magnetization curve performed for four modern magnetic materials: constructional corrosion resistant steel, Mn-Zn ferrite, amorphous alloy with perpendicular anisotropy as well as Finemet-type nanocrystalline magnetic material. Presented results confirm reliability of the model as well as indicate that high-speed calculation may be done using arctangent function.

Opis:
Paper presents a novel idea of capacitive sensor for human presence detection. Due to the use of resonant circuit significant increase of sensor's sensitivity was achieved. In the case of human hand, value of output signal changes up to 421per cent. Moreover, sensor creates possibility of determination of the material of the detected object. As a result developed sensor can be applied for human presence detection sensors utilized in safety systems, which are especially suitable for underground transportation network.

The article examines the solution of intelligent robotic utilization of electrical waste and electronic equipment (WEEE), as means of materials recovery. The paper provides criteria for selection, identification and waste analysis, enabling application of robotic dismantling solutions. Based on proposed criteria, the waste of computer hard disk drives (HDD) was identified, analyzed, and their characteristics described. Furthermore applying described approach to robotized dismantling, the complete process of waste HDD processing, covering all the procedural steps was presented for the selected disk. Described intelligent utilization process can be performed with use of 2 robots equipped with, 2 tools and one conveyor handle. Authors also briefly presents issues related to proposed process approached during HDD waste disassembly studies. In addition, paper presents the quantities of materials to be recovered from the HDD waste.

Paper presents application of magnetovision in weak magnetic fields for public security systems. Measurement system was developed to study the magnetic field vector distributions. The measurements of the Earth’s field disturbances caused by ferromagnetic objects were carried out. The ability for passive detection of selected dangerous objects and determine their location was demonstrated.

This design allows for the gravimeter signal separation from the noise, which makes it possible to increase the measurement accuracy of Earth’s gravitational field anomalies using gravimetric aviation system to 1 mGal.

Paper presents the new methodology of application of uniform torque to the ring-shaped magnetoelastic sensing elements. The results of investigation on the influence of a torsion on the magnetic properties of different amorphous Fe-based ring cores are also presented. The results of tests on Fe Si B amorphous alloy in as-cast and annealed state as well as Fe Nb Cu Si B nanocrystalline alloy indicate, that torque sensitivity is connected with both alloy composition and state on the alloy. Moreover the most sensitive is F amorphous alloy in annealed state. As a result this alloy is the most suitable as a core of magnetoelastic torque sensors.

Paper presents new possibilities of Jiles-Atherton model of magnetic hysteresis parameters determination. The main problem connected with this model is the fact that its parameters have to be determined during the optimization process. However, due to the local minima on the target function, the gradient optimization methods are not effective, whereas evolutionary strategies, such as (μ+λ) strategy, are very time consuming. Results of calculation presented in the paper indicate that differential strategies create possibility of reliable and fast determination of Jiles-Atherton model parameters. Paper also presents guidelines for practical determination of model’s parameters, which is very important from practical point of view.

The paper presents experimental setup for testing of the three axis magnetoresisitive magnetometers for measurements of the magnetic field within the range of Earth's magnetic field. Measuring setup integrates three axis Helmholtz coils controlled by the specialized current source. The accuracy of magnetic field generated by the Helmholtz coils is up to 0.6% for the one direction. Presented experimental setup can be also applied for investigation and calibration of the other magnetometers utilizing magnetoresistive, Hall or fluxgate sensors.

Recent traceability requirements create necessity of organization of the food production process in the completely new way. This way of production organization is typical rather for large industry, than for traditional way of work at the rural areas. This fact generates tensions as well as resistance of the farmers, especially farmers working in traditional way. This paper presents new ideas of industrial application of automation standards and methodologies for reliable, robust and user-friendly food traceability system. Due to the high level of automation and application of industrial IT solutions together with multimodal data transmission, presented traceability system can be implemented in traditional food production farms and operated intuitively by personnel without specialized training. As a result application of presented system will signifi-cantly reduce tensions and resistance connected with implementation of new technologies in tradi-tional food production farms.

This paper shows the research on a flow sensor based on graphene. Presented Results show the linear relation between voltage induced on graphene layer and flow velocity. The measurement shows that signal level is relatively low, and it is highly correlated with the time of the sample being submerged in water. A significant temperature dependency has been shown which indicates on necessity to develop a compensation system for the sensor. On the other hand, induced voltage is related to ion concentration of the liquid, so the sensor must be recalibrated for every working environment. The most important thing that turned out during research is that although the voltage signal itself is highly inconsistent, the difference between its value in steady state and for flowing liquid is always visible and correlated to the flow value – this property can be used in further deployment. Huge advantage of the sensor is also its scalability which opens so far unknown possibilities of applications.

This paper presents the results of investigation on the tensile stresses dependence of magnetic characteristics of the L17HMF steel casting. To ensure uniform stress distribution in the sample for this investigation and the closed magnetic circuit, the frame-shaped samples were used. This is very important because it provides results independent of the shape and dimensions of the sample. On the columns of the sample both sensing and magnetizing windings were made. It is highly recommended to wound magnetizing and sensing windings on both columns. Due to the specialized force reversing system, compressive force generates the uniform tensile stresses in the sample. Magnetic characteristics are measured under these stresses by digitally controlled hysteresis graph. On the base of results of measurements the magnetoelastic characteristics of L17HMF steel casting were determined. Determined this characteristic is necessary to developed nondestructive testing method for monitoring of industrial and energetic constructions with elements made by L17HMF steel casting.

There are presented theoretical and practical aspects of automatic control of resistive furnace for thermal annealing of magnetic cores made of amorphous alloys. Process of annealing requires specific conditions both from the point of view of temperature and its changes. The article presents and describes the structure of a new piezoelectric gravimeter of automated aviation gravimetric system (AGS), which has a higher accuracy (1mGal) than other types of gravimeters known to date and automated signal processing. It also describes the operation principle of a piezoelectric gravimeter and presents its mathematical model. There have been determined conditions under which the need to use lowpass filter in automated AGS is prevented.
