Opis:
The objective of this investigation is to study the influence of thermal radiation and radiation absorption parameter on a mixed convection flow over a continuously moving porous vertical plate under the action of transverse applied magnetic field taking into account the induced magnetic field with convective boundary. Under certain assumptions, the solutions for the velocity field, temperature distribution and induced magnetic field are obtained. The influences of various parameters on the velocity, temperature fields and on induced magnetic fields are studied graphically. It is also found that the dimensionless Prandtl number, Grashof number, Schmidt number and magnetic parameter have an appreciable influence on the independent variables.

Opis:
The present paper deals with the unsteady motion of an MHD free convection flow of an incompressible non- Newtonian viscoelastic fluid past an infinite vertical plate in the presence of a heat source and Soret effect. A parametric study illustrating the influence of various parameters on the temperature, velocity as well as on the skin-friction and rate of heat transfer is conducted. The results of the effect of the magnetic field, the parameter describing the non-Newtonian behavior, and the velocity of suction and injection on both the velocity and temperature distributions are examined and shown graphically.

Opis:
A theoretical study is carried out to obtain an analytical solution of free convective heat transfer for the flow of a polar fluid through a porous medium with variable permeability bounded by a semi-infinite vertical plate in a slip flow regime. A uniform magnetic field acts perpendicular to the porous surface. The free stream velocity follows an exponentially decreasing small perturbation law. Using the approximate method the expressions for the velocity, microrotation, and temperature are obtained. Further, the results of the skin friction coefficient, the couple stress coefficient and the rate of heat transfer at the wall are presented with various values of fluid properties and flow conditions.

Opis:
Investigation of an MHD convective flow of viscous, incompressible and electrically conducting fluid through a porous medium bounded by two infinite vertical parallel porous plates is carried out. Forchheimer-Brinkman extended Darcy model is assumed to simulate momentum transfer within the porous medium. A magnetic field of uniform strength is applied normal to the plates. The analytical results are evaluated numerically and the presented graphically to discuss in detail the effects of different parameter entering into the problem.

Opis:
An investigation has been carried out for the MHD 3-dimensional flow of nanofluid over a shrinking sweet saturating a porous media in the presence of thermal radiation and heat generation. Convective boundary conditions for the flow phenomena are used in the present analysis. The governing equations are reduced to ODEs employing suitable similarity transformations. The solutions of formulated differential equations have been attained mathematically by fourth order R-K technique along with the shooting method. The impact of the governing constraints on momentum, heat, and local Nusselt number, are explored. It is noticed that the momentum and heat decrease with raise in the porosity variable, temperature reduces with an enhance in the thermal radiation variable, and temperature enhances with an enhance in the heat source/sink parameter.

Opis:
This paper presents both analytical and numerical analyses of a fully developed unsteady/steady natural convection flow of a reactive viscous fluid in an open ended vertical annulus. Analytical expressions for velocity, temperature, skin-friction and rate of heat transfer are obtained after simplifying and solving the governing differential equations with reasonable approximations. The interesting result found in this study is that an increase in non-dimensional time (t) , increases both temperature and velocity profiles until a steady-state value is attained. Subsequent results obtained by numerical calculations show excellent agreement with analytical results.
