development locomotives - Opis:
- Local governments support local development using various instruments. Very often they focus on financial instruments. Thus, they are no longer the base of competitive advantage and local governments have to search for nonfinancial instruments to attract companies to the region. These instruments are of different effectiveness, so it seems to be crucial for local leaders to know which instruments are the most effective. This is especially important as for attracting so-called local development locomotives. In the article the research results have been presented pointing out the level of effectiveness of each instrument used by local office in cooperation with such a local development locomotive.
