Opis:: This article mainly aims at analysing determinants of possibilities of improving processes in an organization. The early sections of the study are devoted to a theoretical analysis of the determinants of the process management and its connection with the project management. Then the assumptions of the survey on the impact of the organizational structure and culture on the possibilities of applying business process management are presented. The verification of theoretical deliberations and survey assumptions is included in the last part of the article presenting the initial results of the obtained survey and the resulting conclusions.

Opis:: This paper presents a predicted target architecture of an integrated manufacturing and management system, based on a metropolitan-type intranet and an industrial process control and monitoring network. Such systems are urgently required by prospective users, especially large-scale manufacturing enterprises. Nevertheless, neither big manufacturers of computer integrated manufacturing systems nor big manufacturers of computer integrated systems are willing to develop combined computer integrated manufacturing and management systems. To evaluate performance, a method developed for packet switching networks with end-to-end acknowledgement was applied. The paper describes the investigations carried out for the case study. Some consideration is given to the performance evaluation accuracy, based on the validation work results obtained from analytical work, simulation and measurements on the Polish pilot wide area network.

Opis:: The aim of the paper is to present the current state of cloud computing solutions application in the management of a contemporary business organization. The author outlined such theoretical aspects of cloud computing solutions as its key concept and architecture, and the benefits resulting from its implementation in contemporary companies and enterprises. The article presents the vendor perspective of cloud computing services utilization in business organizations prepared on the basis of case studies, practical examples and an international research review. The research presenting the user perspective on cloud computing usage was based on the opinions of 100 respondents of cloud computing services and indicated the pros and cons resulting from the implementation and application of this solution which allowed to indicate not only its benefits but also its limitations.

Opis:: The main purpose of the paper is to identify the new emerging perspective on management – an organizational creativity and its computer support. We have investigated the organizational creativity issue from the strategic research base view and proposed to explain the organizational creativity as a dynamic capabilities of an organization. They mean the adoption for changing environment through acquiring new resources and creating new configurations from them. Our considerations have given an assumption for the identification the role of ICT in organizational creativity computer support, as well as the research gap in this area.
