- Flexible HR solutions face new problems of health and safety at work that are particularly difficult due to temporariness of this form of employment, temporariness of being in an organization, in which acquisition of pro-safety behaviour is related not only to the culture of safety represented at the level of a subject, but with the entire climate of safety at work typical for a given organization, and internalisation of norms and appropriate attitudes is embedded in a temporary perspective, for which changing of staff is unfavourable – a typical feature of flexible solutions and the already mentioned temporariness of employment. This article discusses cultural issues of organizational culture and organisational climate, subject-related predictors of safety and risk behaviour as well as issues of risk prevention and measuring health and safety at work. Problems of professional work of each employee, not only the one employed in non-traditional forms begin precisely in this place – in a basic, everyday work environment, in “providing” an employee with appropriate work conditions desirable for his life and health. The paper presents the results of the research on n=2118 flexible employees in the context of flexible psychological variables that are vital for the culture and safety of work.
