    RESEARCH OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this article is to present arguments against the possibility of adoption of a child by a homosexual person in the light of Polish family law.  THE RESEARCH PROBLEM AND METHODS: Since the Polish legislature does not explicitly accept or prohibit the adoption of a child by a homosexual person, the question of the possibility of adoption of a child by such a person is raised in the light of the principles of family law in force in Poland. There has been applied the method of critical and comparative analysis as well as the analysis of the reference literature, rulings of the Polish Supreme Court and Polish reference legislation. THE PROCESS OF ARGUMENTATION: After having initially defined the aim of the study, the author indicates the function and purpose of the adoption and its premises. Two basic premises of adoption are explained in detail - the premise of the best interests of the child and the appropriate personal qualifications of the adopter. The essential part of the argumentation is to find the answer to the question on whether adoption of a child by a homosexual person in the light of Polish family law is possible or not.   RESEARCH RESULTS: The result of this research is the statement of impossibility of adoption of a child by homosexuals in the light of Polish family law.  CONCLUSIONS, INNOVATIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: The analysis confirmed the dominant view in Polish doctrine according to which adoption of a child by homosexuals appears to be in contradiction of  the principle of the best interests of the child.

    CEL NAUKOWY: Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie wyników analizy blogosfery parentingowej pod kątem sposobów prezentacji współczesnej polskiej rodziny. PROBLEM I METODY BADAWCZE: Problem badawczy został sformułowany w postaci pytań o charakterystykę polskiej blogosfery parentingowej, sylwetki autorów blogów parentingowych i ich motywacje do prowadzenia elektronicznych dzienników oraz zakres prezentowanych na nich treści, będących źródłem informacji na temat rodziny. W części empirycznej wykorzystano głównie metody jakościowe, netnografię i analizę treści oraz pomocniczo badanie ilościowe danych statystycznych. PROCES WYWODU: W pierwszej części artykułu wyjaśniono zasadność użycia wybranych metod badawczych oraz zaprezentowano dobór próby badawczej. Następnie ukazano specyfikę polskiej rodziny. Kolejno przedstawiono charakterystykę blogów parentingowych i ich autorów. Badaniom poddano również motywacje blogerów i zawartość blogów. Ostatecznie wyodrębniono najpopularniejsze modele polskiej rodziny prezentowane przez blogerów. WYNIKI ANALIZY NAUKOWEJ: Z przeprowadzonych analiz wynika, że tematyka rodziny zwykle bywa podejmowana przez soczewkę własnych doświadczeń. Analizowane blogi nie pokazują problemów rodziny w ujęciu ogólnym, ale skupiają się na rolach matek, ojców czy relacjach z dziećmi. Rodzina jest często widziana jako zbiór indywidualnych problemów spokrewnionych osób. WNIOSKI, INNOWACJE, REKOMENDACJE: Rodzina widziana oczami blogerów jest zróżnicowana i zależna od wielu czynników (mody, sytuacji społeczno-ekonomicznej czy kultury). Dlatego proponowana analiza otwiera dyskusję nad zmieniającym się obrazem rodziny, co wydaje się istotne w obliczu braku kompleksowych badań blogosfery parentingowej w Polsce.  
    ABSTRACT SCIENTIFIC OBJECTIVE: The paper aims to present the results of the parenting blogosphere analysis focusing on the ways of presenting a modern Polish family. RESEARCH PROBLEM and METHODS: The research problem was constructed as questions about the characteristics of the Polish parenting blogosphere, profiles of parenting blog authors, the scope and motivation to create content which is a source of information about the family. In the empirical part of the study, qualitative methods, netnography, content analysis and auxiliary quantitative research on statistical data were used. PROCESS OF THE ARGUMENT: The first part of the paper explains the legitimacy of using selected research methods and presents the process of selecting the research sample. Secondly, it describes the specificity of the Polish family. Then, the article presents the characteristics of parenting blogs and their authors. Finally, the most prevalent models of the Polish family presented by bloggers are identified. RESULTS OF THE SCIENTIFIC ANALYSIS: The results of the analyses show that the topic of family is usually perceived through one’s own experiences. The blogs included in the analysis do not describe family problems in a general context but rather they are focused on the roles of mothers, fathers or relationship with children. The family is often seen as a collection of individual problems of related people. CONCLUSIONS, INNOVATIONS, RECOMMENDATIONS: The family, from the bloggers’ perspective, is very diverse and it depends on many factors (trends, socio-economic situation or culture). The uncertainty associated with the social and environmental acceptance of new family models is becoming increasingly common. Therefore, this study opens a discussion on the changing image of the family presented in social media. The topic seems important in the absence of comprehensive research on the parenting blogosphere in Poland.

    Opis:
    Celem artykułu jest pokazanie rodziny polskiej jako środowiska życia i wychowania w pierwszej dekadzie XXI wieku na przykładzie indywidualnych doświadczeń i interpretacji. Artykuł składa się z dwóch części. W pierwszej przedstawiono charakterystyczne właściwości rodziny jako środowiska życia, jej możliwości rozwojowe i wychowawcze we współczesnym społeczeństwie i w kulturze oraz zasadnicze kierunki przemian rodziny polskiej w XXI wieku. W drugiej dokonano analizy treści wypowiedzi pisemnych opublikowanych na łamach prasy ukazujących różne interpretacje wybranych aspektów życia rodzinnego na podstawie osobistych doświadczeń, w odniesieniu do takich zagadnień, jak: rozumienie rodziny, jej sens i atrakcyjność, warunki udanego życia w małżeństwie i rodzinie, trudności i kwestie związane z wychowaniem, przekaz wartości oraz kryzysy w rodzinie. W podsumowaniu porównano tendencje wynikające z subiektywnej interpretacji zachodzących w rodzinie przemian z obiektywnym ich obrazem na przestrzeni ostatnich dziesięciu lat.
    The aim of this article is to show Polish family as the setting for life and upbringing in the first decade of the 21st century on an example of individual experiences and interpretations. The article consists of two parts. The first part presents the characteristics of the family as the setting for life, its potential for development and upbringing in contemporary society and culture as well as the main trends in the transformation of the Polish family in the 21st century. The second part of the article constitutes an analysis of the written statements published in the press showing various interpretations of certain aspects of family life based on their authors’ own experiences in relation to such issues as: understanding family, its meaning and appeal, the conditions of a successful married and family life, difficulties and problems related to upbringing, the transfer of values, family crises. In conclusion, we compared the tendencies resulting from the subjective perception of changes taking place in a family, including their objective presentation over the past ten years.
