- In this article, based on regression analysis, an attempt was made to determine the relationship between sales and leasing of agricultural land belonging to the Agricultural Property Stock of the State Treasury and the valorization of the agricultural productive area. Authors analyzed the static and dynamic level of sales prices of the agricultural land and the amount of rents generated in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. Research, in which statistical units were districts, covered years 2007–2008. As a result of the research it was found that the selling price of the agricultural land and the size of the rent for the property leased from Agricultural Property Stock of the State Treasury in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship is not dependent on the valorization of the agricultural productive area. The lack of dependence means that the quality and relevance of the agricultural soil is not a critical determinant of the selling price and the amount of rent gained.
