Opis:: The author looks for constitutional elements of human self in order to discover the right relationship between a person and a community, between solitude and dialog. He analyzes different philosophical points of view which either prefer dialogical understanding of human self or the ones which stress human ability of suspension of the contact with the external reality in order to deepen self-understanding. All that leads the author to the analysis of different types of solitude and its value.

Opis:: The article focuses on the issue of spiritual development from the perspective of consciousness. The question of spiritual development exists in close connection with the concept of spirituality. The issue of consciousness can be reduced to three elements that make up a single act of consciousness: an empirical subject, complementing the object, and a non-act self-awareness, i.e. a non-empirical or proper subject. Self-awareness plays a key role in spiritual development in the fi eld of consciousness. The development of self-awareness should strive to reveal non-act self-awareness, but it has a similar structure and is experienced like any other acts of awareness. Spiritual development is the process of the of self-awareness growth and the constitution of the “Self” as an empirical subject that separates itself from a specifi c class of objects that are a component of the fi eld of possible experience for a person. The eff ects of spiritual development can also be described as self-knowledge, which can be a conceptual explanation of either actual experiences or a more stable state of the human subject.

Opis:: In this essay we will try to undercover some aspects of freedom and free will of person, which are hidden in the philosophy of St. Augustine of Hippo. As we know, this great philosopher, early Christian theologian, has influenced European Philosophy very much, and a lot of his apposite thesis are present in philosophy even today. Using the phenomenological method of Max Scheler, Karol Wojtyła, and Jean-Luc Marion we will try to present some aspects, discovered and described by Saint Augustin of Hippo, which are necessary for such ideas like subjective Ego.

Opis:: The article deals with the philosophy of Le Senne in which man is determined by character and by values. The self results from relation to values. Cognition of God does not create conceptual metaphysics, but it is human act directed to the value. The author claims that Le Senne’s metaphysic is the axiology but without the hierarchy of values and criteria. The source of value is God who is not summum esse but Value. For Le Senne value and not being is a priority. That is the one of many similarities to Tischner’s philosophy.

Opis:: Zubiri does not accept the classical phenomenological concept of religion which unites religion with sacrum. He is constructing his own metaphysical concept of religion which he unites with the power that has reality. According to Zubiri, religion has its origin in power of the real which allows a person to have personal life. Zubiri’s concept of religion allows to evaluate particular religions acknowledging that they may be more or less true. It is impossible for phenomenology of religion.

Opis:: This essay constitutes an attempt of showing the dialectics of the phenomenons of solitude and community on the example of Romanian writer and philosopher, Emil Cioran’s works and life. The aim of this paper is to present the combination of Cioran’s writings and his private life in comparison with the game in which solitude and community plays the main roles. The complete profile of Cioran greatly references to a philosophical subdiscipline, monoseology which treats on the phenomenon of solitude with its all complexity. The writings of Emil Cioran is a mutual interweaving of loner’s striving for any community.
