Opis:
In PV grid connected power conditioners, usually both stepping-up the PV array voltage, and stepping-down the dc bus voltage for injection of a sinusoidal current to the grid is required. In this paper the design procedure of Z-source converter as a single phase PV grid connected transformer-less inverter is presented. The converter has one switch less than the conventional two stage power conditioner, which leads to reduction of cost. An optimum modulation pattern for the switches is proposed, and the low frequency ripple of the converter is modeled. The design of the converter is verified by simulation.

Opis:
With the growing use of inverters in distributed generation, the problem of injected harmonics becomes critical. These harmonics require the connection of low pass filters between the inverter and the network. This paper presents a design method for the output LC filter in grid coupled applications in distributed generation systems. The design is according to the harmonics standards that determine the level of current harmonics injected into the grid network. Analytical expressions for the maximum inductor ripple current are derived. The filter capacitor design depends on the allowable level of switching components injected into the grid. Different passive filter damping techniques to suppress resonance affects are investigated and evaluated. Simulated results are included to verify the derived expressions.

Opis:
Problems on inverter motor drives such as bearing currents are introduced due to common mode voltages. Different solutions are proposed on literature, for two-level or multilevel inverter. Instantaneous zero common mode voltage by using a three-level inverted could be achieved. This paper proposes a commutation strategy that allows zero common mode voltage by using medium vectors, and also a new representation as a plane on the commutation space is defined which is called zero common mode voltage plane. On this defined plane, every turning vector fulfil this property. Simulations and experimental results clearly show method's efficiency.

Opis:
In this paper [20] an analytical approach to decomposition of total phase EMI noises through algebraic calculations and the Fourier transform has been presented. Separating conducted EMI noise into different, common and differential mode (CM and DM) HF current components is important for a proper spectral analysis and application of EMI mitigation techniques. The results of calculations have been compared to EMI currents measured on the motor side of the PWM drive system. The proposed approach can be useful in comparative analysis of the influence of inverter control algorithms on spectra of CM currents in a given drive system.

This paper attempts to validate the performance of a power injection control block for Photovoltaic Generation Systems (PVGS). This device uses a control module based on detecting the power injected into the supply by the inverter, instead of measuring the power generated by the PVGS. The performance is evaluated using the concept of Maximum Energy Curve that takes into account both transient and permanent control performance. The paper presents a basic and simple procedure to obtain a model from the manufacturer characteristic curves of the photovoltaic cells. MATLAB Simulink is used as simulation tool to obtain the response of the proposed system to changes in temperature and irradiance.

The article discusses class E zero-voltage-switching resonant inverter (ZVS). The resonant circuit of the inverter is subject to mathematical analysis using the method of state variables with the aid of MATLAB software. Results of simulation testing, based on Simplorer software, of an inverter at the operating frequency of 100kHz are presented.
