    The falling level of manual skills of the young generation is one of issues in the 21st century. The existing society asks for creative individuals who can work independently. On the other hand, the manually skilled ones are needed too. The core question of our research was to find out whether the individuals who score high on the test of creativity are at the same time manually skilled. In our opinion, it is important to be creative and manually skilful at once to become successful in these days. To ascertain the relationship between creativity and the level of manual skills, a ran-dom sample was selected from children from a secondary school and students of pedagogy. The presented research deals with research regarding levels of creativity and manual skills at secondary schools, that means in the Czech Republic kids from 10 to 14 years old, and at the faculty of education of teachers-to-be. Readers are acquainted with results of evaluating the students of teaching and the pupils/learners at secondary schools from the point of creative abilities in relation with the level of their manual skills. There was used the Urban´s test of creative thinking to test creativity, the level of psychomotor skills was tested using Testing batteries for psychomotor skills, which was made for the research purpose by as. Prof. Honzíková. Those research results as well as the unique testing battery for psychomotor skills are introduced.

    Poprawa jakości kształcenia na uczelniach wyższych możliwa jest tylko wtedy, gdy wiemy, jak treści programów nauczania łączyć z rzeczywistą pracą absolwentów studiów technicznych. Badania podjęte w programie KEGA dotyczą zdolności radzenia sobie z wykorzystaniem ICT w praktyce – zarówno w kształceniu nauczycieli, jak również w codziennej pracy szkolnej. W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań przeprowadzonych za pomocą badań kwestionariuszowych.

    Práca opisuje zmeny v príprave učiteľov pre základné školy, ako následok informatizácie školstva a kurikulárnej transformácia štátneho vzdelávacieho programu na Slovensku. Navrhuje jedno možné riešenie na integrovanie nových digitálnych technológií do vyučovania rôznych predmetov a na posilnenie predmetových väzieb medzi informatikou a informatickou a informačnou výchovou a ostatnými predmetmi na základnej škole.
    The paper describes the changes in teacher training for primary schools, as a result of informatisation of education and curricular transformation of national educational program in Slovakia. It suggests one possible solution to integrate new digital technologies into the instruction of different subjects and to strengthen the bonds between computer science, informatics-based subjects, and other subjects at primary schools.

    Cieľom projektu KEGA „Overenie videokonferenčného systému a dištančných technológií v aplikáciách” je analyzovať využiteľnosť videokonferenčných systémov a dištančných technológií vo výučbe na základných a stredných školách. Rovnako je cieľom aj stanoviť minimálne technické a organizačné požiadavky úspešného využívania týchto systémov, multimediálnych technológií a prípravy výučbových programov pre vzdelávanie.     Celem projektu KEGA „Weryfikacja aplikacji dla systemu wideokonferencyjnego i technologii edukacji zdalnej” jest analiza moŜliwości wykorzystania systemów wideokonferencyjnych i technologii edukacji zdalnej w szkole podstawowej pierwszego i drugiego stopnia. RównieŜ celem jest określenie minimalnych wymagań technicznych i organizacyjnych dla skutecznego korzystania z systemów technologii multimedialnych oraz potrzeb w zakresie projektowania programów edukacyjnych. W pracy przedstawiono poglądy nauczycieli na temat wykorzystania tych technologii w praktyce szkolnej.
    The goal of the KEGA project „erification of the video conferencing system and distant technologies in applications”is to analyze the possibilities of the video conferencing systems and distant technologies use in primary and secondary schooling. At the same time, the aim is to specify the minimum technical and organisational requirements for the successful use of these systems and multimedia technologies as well as for designing educational programmes. The paper presents the views of teachers on the use of these technologies in practice and on the possibilities of their further education

    The paper shows the importance of education and trainig in the field of respecting the safe work and the students’ health prevention – future chemistry teachers. It is about the need of development, and demands on increasing requirements to safety and hygiene of work. Topic of education and training in the area of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is very actual nowadays. The aim of OHS education is to offer students needed knowledge and information, to develop skills and habits, which are inevitable for safe work.
