    Zjawisko korepetycji istnieje w Polsce od dawna, jednak wraz z upowszechnieniem społeczeństwa wiedzy, wzrostem znaczenia wykształcenia w świadomości społecznej oraz wprowadzeniem egzaminowania zewnętrznego zjawisko to znacznie się nasiliło. Powszechność korepetycji świadczy o dysfunkcji polskiej szkoły oraz o pogłębiających się nierównościach społecznych. Pomimo skali tego zjawiska ani władze oświatowe, ani politycy nie dostrzegają bądź udają, że nie widzą problemu. Ponadto, w artykule zasygnalizowane zostały najistotniejsze przyczyny i skutki korepetycji.
    The phenomenon of tutoring has existed in Poland for a long time. However, the development of the knowledge society, the increasing importance of education in social awareness as well as the introduction of external examinations have significantly intensified the private tuition. The universality of tutoring indicates both the dysfunction of Polish school and the deepening social inequalities. Despite the scale of this phenomenon, neither the educational authorities nor politicians realize or see the problem. In addition, the article indicates the most significant causes and effects of tutoring.

    The variability of university education is influenced, among other things, by the fact that in addition to students at the initial stage of their education, teachers also educate professionally active adults. They should, therefore, know which teaching methods can be successfully used for the education of undergraduates and of professionally active learners, and when these two pedagogical situations differ so significantly that they need to be treated differently. In this spirit, it is also necessary to approach the choice of teaching methods. During our course of Engineering Education (designed for academics wishing to acquire or extend their pedagogical skills) the method of concept maps has proven itself. In our research, we investigated whether the teachers perceived the education (in the subjects of Pedagogy, Didactics, Psychology) in which the concept map method was used as more effective in terms of remembering the subject, understanding it and applying it in their own pedagogical activities in comparison to the method of lecture with presentation.

    Zachodzące w ostatnich dziesięcioleciach zmiany społeczne sprawiają, że przed współczesną szkołą staje wiele nowych zadań. Jednym z nich jest konieczność otworzenia się na zewnątrz i czerpania z zasobów środowiska, w którym zachodzi wielowymiarowa edukacja nieszkolna. Realizacja procesu dydaktycznego w sposób środowiskowo-rozszerzony wymaga od nauczycieli rezygnacji z dominującej postawy na rzecz otwartości i dialogu z innymi podmiotami, budowania symetrycznych relacji opartych na partnerstwie. Niewątpliwie podstawowym podmiotem, który powinien być obecny w procesie kształcenia w szkole, jest rodzina. W niniejszym opracowaniu poddano analizie obszary zaangażowania rodziców w proces dydaktyczny własnych dzieci w wybranych rzeszowskich szkołach podstawowych, które uporządkowano na skali jakościowej. Kolejne stopnie skali tworzą: czynna, pośrednia i bierna rodzicielska aktywność w procesie dydaktycznym. W obrębie każdej kategorii określono zakres działań – środowisko szkolne i rodzinne.
    Social changes happening in the last decades challenge modern schools with many new tasks. One of them is the necessity to open to and derive from resources of environment which takes part in multidimensional non-scholar education. In order to pursue the didactic process in environmentally extended way, teachers should abandon their dominant attitude in favour of open dialogue with other persons and building symmetric relations based on partnership. Nevertheless, family should be the very basic entity present in the process of school education. The analysis of parental involvement into their children didactic process, presented in this study, is based on selected primary schools from Rzeszów put in order on qualitative scale. The following degrees on scale are represented by direct, indirect and passive engagement of parents in didactic process. Each category includes scope of activity, family and school environment.

    Information Technology (IT) entered the world of education with authority and with general assumption that it would enhance students’ learning. It is used in the educational environment for many uses, with class delivery as one of the most important purposes. The aim of the study was to investigate the preferences in the delivery methods by students and compare with those favoured by the instructors. Additionally, the study assessed the use of IT in preparation (by instructors) and access (by students) of material related to learning. A separate issue addressed was classroom cheating by students and IT application for that purpose. The study indicated a clear preference by both students and instructors for blended learning of traditional face to face lecturing with additional on-line material. The study also confirmed the use of IT as a tool for class cheating. Although reluctantly, up to 73% of students confessed to cheating using one or other method.

    Opis:
    Information Technology (IT) is a major part of modern society and is already well embedded in everyday life. IT is believed to be a perfect tool to enhance learning, also at tertiary level. However, it is uncertain whether students use the IT for educational purposes and if that usage is at higher than basic level. The aim of the study was to investigate the use of IT by engineering students and especially their use of technology in the learning process. The study proves that the students are surrounded by common type of IT, such as smartphones and computers, and use them almost constantly. However, its use is not directed towards learning process and especially towards learning engineering applications. The knowledge and skills of programming and specialized engineering software declared by students is astonishingly low for students of engineering faculty. It appears that students’ IT ownership, access, and some, although limited, competencies have not translated into use for educational purposes.

    Wyzwaniem współczesnej szkoły jest edukacja dla przyszłości, odchodzenie od tradycyjnych metod nauczania. Jednak przeszkodę mogą stanowić relacje nauczyciel–uczeń wynikające z poko-leniowej różnicy w myśleniu. Uczniów nieznających świata bez komputerów i internetu uczą nauczyciele, którzy zetknęli się z komputerem dopiero w dorosłym życiu, których mózgi kształtowały się, gdy zakres mediów ograniczał się do prasy, radia i telewizji oraz telefonów stacjonar-nych, a myślenie ma charakter linearny – analogowy. Rozważania dotyczą wzajemnego porozumienia i możliwości podmiotowej edukacji.
    Education for the future and moving away from traditional teaching methods is one of the key challenges of the modern school. In this respect, the teacher–student relations may be an obstacle arising from generational differences in thinking. Students who do not know a world without computers and Internet are being taught by the teachers, who encountered computers only in their adulthood, whose brains developed at the time when the media was limited to newspapers, radio, television and landline phones, and whose thinking has a linear – analog character. Considerations concern mutual understanding and the possibility of subjective education.

This program is ideal for students and teachers who want to enhance their lessons. The operation and application possibilities are supported by the solutions of some tasks (from different levels of education) along with appropriate commentary.

    Wraz z postępującą humanizacją i demokratyzacją życia społecznego w naszym kraju w latach 80. ubiegłego wieku pojawiła się w polskiej pedagogice problematyka podmiotowości. Wydaje się, że nikt dziś nie ma wątpliwości, iż rozwijanie podmiotowej orientacji u uczniów jest bezpośrednim determinantem ich pełnego rozwoju. W dobie dyskusji o systemie oświaty ważne staje się pytanie: Czy podmiotowość ucznia jest właściwie rozumiana i doceniana przez decydentów oświaty oraz teoretyków i praktyków kształcenia i wychowania? W artykule ukazano istotę podmiotowości ucznia oraz wskazano na rolę nauczyciela w jej rozwijaniu. W szczególności zwrócono uwagę na możliwość umacniania orientacji podmiotowej uczniów poprzez rozwijanie ich postawy asertywnej oraz wykorzystanie w pracy pedagogicznej założeń i metod Edukacji Skoncentrowanej na Rozwiązaniach.
    The 1980s saw the social life in our country become more humanized and democratized, leading to the emergence of the issue of subjectivity in the Polish pedagogy. Today, no one seems to doubt that developing a subjective orientation in students directly determines their full growth. The ongoing discussion regarding the education system raises a relevant question, and namely whether student subjectivity is properly understood and acknowledged by policy-makers as well as theorists and practice experts in the field of education. This article indicates the importance of student subjectivity and the role of the teacher in its development. In particular, it demonstrates that teachers can reinforce students’ subjective orientation by fostering their assertiveness and by implementing the assumptions and methods of the Solution-Focused Education approach.

    W artykule poruszona została kwestia wykorzystania technologii informacyjnej w procesie kształcenia. Dzisiejsza szkoła musi korzystać z odpowiedniego oprogramowania dydaktycznego, które powoduje, że uczeń chętniej przyswaja wiadomości, a rezultatem tego jest bardziej efektywne kształcenie. Jednym z takich programów jest GeoGebra, która usprawnia nauczanie matematyki. Jest to uniwersalna aplikacja, która doskonale nadaje się do wykorzystania na wszystkich etapach kształcenia.
    The article addresses the issue of the use of information technology in the education process. The contemporary school has to use the appropriate training software, which makes the student more likely to absorb the knowledge and consequently the education process is more effective. One of the examples of this kind of software is the GeoGebra program, which facilitates the teaching of mathematics. It is a universal application that is ideal to use at all stages of education.

    Zmiany cywilizacyjne wymuszają modyfikacje w wielu sferach funkcjonowania człowieka, w tym w tej dotyczącej edukacji. Tradycyjne metody nauczania coraz częściej wypierane są przez nowoczesne technologie informatyczno-komunikacyjne. Coraz większą przychylność zyskuje nauczanie na odległość, które wydaje się tym bardziej cenne w przypadku osób pracujących, a pragnących doskonalić swoje umiejętności nabyte podczas studiów. Dlatego celem badania własnego było poznanie opinii słuchaczy studiów podyplomowych na temat kształcenia online. Przebadano 60 słuchaczy kończących naukę. Wypowiedzieli się oni na temat tego, jakie zalety i mankamenty dostrzegają w takiej metodzie nauczania.
    Civilizational changes induce alterations in many spheres of human functioning, including the one relating to education. Traditional teaching methods are being increasingly replaced by modern information and communication technologies. Distance education is becoming greatly favoured, as it is valuable especially for working individuals who desire to improve their abilities acquired during the studies. Therefore, the aim of author’s own research was to find out the opinions of post-graduate students about e-learning. Sixty (60) students currently finishing their studies have been examined. They expressed their opinions on advantages and shortcomings of such an educational method.

    Praktyka pedagogiczna stwarza warunki pierwszego kontaktu przyszłego nauczyciela z jego pracą zawodową. To pierwsze doświadczenie studenta ma zasadniczy wpływ na jego dalsze kroki w zawodzie. Praktyczne doświadczenia studentów są integralną częścią uczelnianego przygotowania, wiążąc w sobie teoretyczne przygotowanie nauczycieli z praktyka szkolną. Działania praktyczne studentów podejmowane są najczęściej w ramach praktyk studenckich. Są oni wówczas pod opieką nauczycieli szkolnych, którzy zwracają głównie uwagę na wyćwiczenie określonych czynności. Kształcenie praktyczne nauczycieli opiera się na równowadze między praktyką a teorią, doświadczeniem i własnymi przeżyciami, a także wzajemnych powiązaniach pomiędzy nimi. Celem opracowania jest ocena przygotowania studentów do pracy zawodowej przez nauczycieli opiekunów oraz przedstawienie opinii samych zainteresowanych o odbytych praktykach.
    Student's first experience with a future job is associated with teaching internships. This particular experience has a fundamental influence on student's future career steps. Student's practical experience is an integral part of university preparation, combining theoretical background with a school internships. Teaching internships are the most common form of practical activity. Students are supervised by teachers, whose role is to point out the best practices. Future teacher's education is based on the balance between theory and practice, and also life experience and mutual connection between all this elements. The aim of the study is to demonstrate supervisor's opinion on student's job background and to demonstrate student's opinion on completed internships.
