    Opis:
    It is well known that every complete lattice can be considered as a complete lattice of closed sets with respect to appropriate closure operator. The theory of q-lattices as a natural generalization of lattices gives rise to a question whether a similar statement is true in the case of q-lattices. In the paper the so-called M-operators are introduced and it is shown that complete q-lattices are q-lattices of closed sets with respect to M-operators.

    Some properties of filters on a lattice L are studied with respect to a congruence on L. The notion of a θ-filter of L is introduced and these filters are then characterized in terms of classes of θ. For distributive L, an isomorphism between the lattice of θ-filters of L and the lattice of filters of $L_{/θ}$ is obtained.

    Opis:
    We propose the notion of flocks, which formerly were introduced only in based algebras, for any universal algebra. This generalization keeps the main properties we know from vector spaces, e.g. a closure system that extends the subalgebra one. It comes from the idempotent elementary functions, we call "interpolators", that in case of vector spaces merely are linear functions with normalized coefficients.
    The main example, we consider outside vector spaces, concerns Boolean algebras, where flocks form "local" algebras with a sparseness similar to the one of vector spaces. We also outline the problem of generalizing the Segre transformations of based algebras, which used certain flocks, in order to approach a general transformation notion.

    Opis:
    Topological Boolean algebras are generalizations of topological spaces defined by means of topological closure and interior operators, respectively. The authors in [14] generalized topological Boolean algebras to closure and interior operators of MV-algebras which are an algebraic counterpart of the Łukasiewicz infinite valued logic. In the paper, these kinds of operators are extended (and investigated) to the wide class of bounded commutative Rl-monoids that contains e.g. the classes of BL-algebras (i.e., algebras of the Hájek's basic fuzzy logic) and Heyting algebras as proper subclasses.

    Opis:
    Intervals in binary or n-ary relations or other discrete structures generalize the concept of interval in an ordered set. They are defined abstractly as closed sets of a closure system on a set V, satisfying certain axioms. Decompositions are partitions of V whose blocks are intervals, and they form an algebraic semimodular lattice. Lattice-theoretical properties of decompositions are explored, and connections with particular types of intervals are established.

    Opis:
    A non-deterministic hypersubstitution maps any operation symbol of a tree language of type τ to a set of trees of the same type, i.e. to a tree language. Non-deterministic hypersubstitutions can be extended to mappings which map tree languages to tree languages preserving the arities. We define the application of a non-deterministic hypersubstitution to an algebra of type τ and obtain a class of derived algebras. Non-deterministic hypersubstitutions can also be applied to equations of type τ. Formally, we obtain two closure operators which turn out to form a conjugate pair of completely additive closure operators. This allows us to use the theory of conjugate pairs of additive closure operators for a characterization of M-solid non-deterministic varieties of algebras. As an application we consider M-solid non-deterministic varieties of semigroups.
