Opis:
The article discusses issues related to the assessment of pollutant emissions from a railbus during transport work. The test object was a rail vehicle equipped with two diesel engines with a total power of 780 kW, Stage IIIB homologated. Measurements were carried out on the route Poznań-Wągrowiec in two directions. During the tests, the vehicle performed a transport service, where the number of passengers was counted. For the completed cycles, the average number of people was 82 and 18. Based on the obtained data, the vehicle operating conditions and emission indicators were analyzed, which were related to the number of passengers. A dimensionless toxicity index was also determined.

Opis:
In Poland, the number of vehicles owned per capita is systematically increasing. There is also a noticeable increase in traffic in large urban agglomerations. This creates a number of problems, such as difficulties in finding a parking spot. Then it becomes necessary to search for a long time to stop, which is correlated with higher emission of harmful substances and energy consumption. The aim of the work is a multi-criteria analysis of the selection of a parking spot at a shopping center focused on travel times, pollutant emissions and fuel consumption. In addition, consideration was given to the selection of the optimal parking spot. The tests were carried out in Real Driving Conditions similar to Real Driving Emissions testing. The procedure, currently used as an extension of the type-approval tests, reflects the actual exhaust emissions from vehicles more accurately than tests under laboratory conditions. Specialized PEMS (Portable Emissions Measurement System) apparatus was used for the measurements.

The subject of the article is the study of pollutant emissions from automotive combustion engines that operate in conditions corresponding to the actual use of vehicles. Includes information on the properties of exhaust gas parameters characterizing the following features: energy, economic, environmental impact and serviceability, additional and constant. Reference was also made to the possibility of determining driving tests on the basis of the similarity of the frequency characteristics of the speed processes in both driving tests and in the real use of vehicles. The article presents the results of research on pollutant emissions from a passenger car during the RDE test. The emission of carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, nitrogen oxides, particulate matter and carbon dioxide, as well as the number of particulate matter, were examined. The process of pollutant emission intensity and particle number intensity was presented. Tests were carried out on the statistical properties of the car speed, the intensity of pollutant emissions, and the intensity of the number of particulate matter. Correlation studies were carried out on the speed of the vehicle, the intensity of pollutant emissions, and the intensity of the number of particulate matter.

W artykule przedstawiono analizę stanu ilościowego pojazdów samochodowych w Polsce, aspekty prawne określające dopuszczalne wartości emisji spalin. W pracy przedstawiono wyniki badań uzyskanych w obowiązkowych okresowych badaniach kontrolnych. Przedstawiono wpływ zarówno czasu użytkowania jak i przebiegu pojazdów na trwałość elementów ograniczających tę emisję w wybranych grupach pojazdów.
The article presents selected aspects of the impact of the technical condition of category PC (Passanger cars) vehicles, operating in the country, on the basis of emission measurements of gases from exhaust systems. The paper presents the results received from mandatory periodic vehicle inspections. It shows the influence of both the usage time and mileage on the durability of elements that limit these emissions in selected groups of vehicles.

Air pollution is a challenge for municipal authorities. Increased emission of PM10 and PM2.5 particles is particularly noticeable in Poland primarily the autumn and winter period. That is due to the start of the heating season. According to the above data, road transport accounted for approximately 5% of the creation of PM10 particles, ca. 7% of PM2.5 and approximately 32% for NOx. In Poland, suspended particles (PM10 and PM2.5) cause deaths of as many as 45,000 people a year. The issue of smog also affects other European cities. Therefore, it is necessary to undertake concrete efforts in order to reduce vehicle exhaust emissions as much as possible. It is therefore justifiable to reduce the emission of exhaust pollution, particularly NOx, PM, PN by conventional passenger cars powered by compression ignition engines. Emissions by these passenger cars have been reduced systematically. Comparative tests of the above emission of exhaust pollution were conducted on chassis dynamometer of such passenger car in NEDC cycle and in the new WLTC cycle in order to verify the level of emissions from this type of passenger car. Measurements of fuel consumption by that car were also taken. Emission of exhaust pollution and fuel consumption of the this car were also taken in the RDE road test.

Opis:
Vehicle driving tests worked out by the authors and simulating the typical road operation of a motor vehicle have been described. The tests have been developed on the grounds of analyses of vehicle speed processes recorded during empirical tests, which were carried out in road traffic conditions. In the vehicle motion models adopted, the conditions of vehicle operation in congestion, urban, extra–urban, and high–speed traffic were separately considered. Pollutant emission test results obtained from the driving test procedures proposed have been presented.
W pracy przedstawiono opracowane przez autorów testy jezdne symulujące typowe użytkowanie trakcyjne samochodu. Opracowano je na podstawie analiz procesów prędkości samochodu uzyskanych w badaniach empirycznych przeprowadzonych w ruchu drogowym. W przyjętych modelach ruchu wyodrębniono warunki użytkowania samochodu w zatorach ulicznych, w miastach, poza miastami i na trasach szybkiego ruchu. Przedstawiono wyniki badań emisji zanieczyszczeń uzyskane z zastosowaniem zaproponowanych testów jezdnych.

In the article were compared the vehicles (by pairing) the vehicles on the basis of selected criteria considering vehicles’: weight, length, wheel width, maximum output and acceleration time. The article was carried out by analysing the available source materials and specific energy mix based on coal. The emission of air pollutants (exhaustive) was estimated using the mathematical calculation. In order to carry out the analysis, the data provided by the manufacturers of the considered cars were used, concerning fuel consumption by the cars equipped with the internal combustion engines or electricity consumption in the case of cars with equipped with electric motors. The air pollutants that were taken into consideration: carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, sulphur dioxide, carbon dioxide, and total particulate matter. Apart from the exhaustive emissions, the total particular matter emissions from the tyre and brake wear and road abrasion is also included. The pollutant emission was estimated on the basis of emission factors using the average mileage characterizing for driving in European conditions.
