- A mathematical model, describing the dependence of the composition of the vapour resulting from the liquid composition for a positive azeotrope [formula] and a negative azeotrope [formula] is discussed. These models were used for calculating the differential distillation process for the material balance of the composition [formula] and [formula] obtained of D/S positive azeotrope [formula] and negative azeotrope [formula], where az - azeotropic concentration, alpha - volatility coefficient. Results were obtained for 52 systems, and the values of alpha and az are given in Table 1. For the same concentration, adopted by the authors: [formula], obtained the dependence of the quantity of plates of the rectifying column as a function of relative volatility: [formula].
