Opis:
The development of the automotive industry is conditioned by the application of production technologies, which directly depend on production volumes. Today's development of car production is possible only in conjunction with the volume of production, ensuring both the parameters of assembly and production quality. Their constant monitoring is related to the application of the verification tools and technologies used. Such is the length measurement process that needs to be precise in the automotive industry. The paper analyzes the precision length measurement system and its dynamic characteristics. The research is applied to solve the problems of dynamic processes of a precision length measuring system, and the obtained results can be used in the development of precision systems for other purposes. The obtained results describe the vibrations of the length measuring system housing and the measuring head, which show the weak points of the system at the respective frequencies. The application of new and advanced production processes plays an important role in the development of the manufacturing industry. This trend is especially relevant to the automotive industry, where each element must ensure high quality requirements. Therefore, automating the automotive manufacturing process is necessary to ensure the highest level of control methods. For this purpose, various sensors are used, the signals of which are analyzed and the control plan itself is adjusted. Experimental investigations of a precision angle encoder were performed in the work. During the research, the dynamic characteristics of the created stand were determined. Experimental studies yielded the results of an experimental study of a precision angle encoder when the system is subjected to shock and harmonic excitation. In order to elucidate the effect of oscillations on the accuracy of a high-resolution coded precision angle encoder, primary electrical signals and their change under oscillations were recorded. Studies have shown that highresolution code-precision angle encoders have different design responses to dynamic effects depending on the direction of the vibrations acting.

The paper presents the results of measurements of friction forces achieved by forcing slip between a poly-V 5pk belt and the pulley needed to formulate empirical models of dynamic friction. This kind of belt and pulley can be found in automotive industry to drive the alternator and coolant pump in cars. The forces were measured for several cases of assumed preload and two cases of wrap angle. The complicated stick and slip processes are simplified by assuming an average effective dynamic friction coefficient. The results show that the values of friction cannot be described by classic Euler formula. They not only depend on the velocity, but also noticed that can depend on sign of acceleration. Also, some results of the approximation are presented. It is proposed that the assumed norm will be minimised using the Nelder-Mead optimisation method. The measurements and the approximation let assume specified dynamic friction characteristics. The achieved results are applied to the model of a belt transmission. In the paper presented results of simulations of the model of belt transmission.

The position of the centre of masses affects the distribution of wheel loads and, at the same time, the stability of the vehicle in drive on bends as well as the course (intensity and efficiency) of braking. For fire engines heading for the site of emergency, these are important properties regarding performance. The paper presents a simplified factor analysis of the influence of the centre of masses position in special vehicles with fire fighting bodywork on the characteristics of steering, lateral stability and braking forces. A relation between the transfer function and the driving speed has been presented and the influence of the distance between the centre of masses from the rear axle of the vehicle on its steerability has been analysed. With the examples of given vehicles, it has been shown to what extent the mentioned indices and parameters can be changed after equipping a standard truck chassis with our bodywork system. The information contained herein may be useful for the construction departments of specialized vehicle bodywork manufacturers.
