Opis:: This paper will present an On Board Unit (OBU), which is an integral part of planned ITS – acronym COOPERS. It will describe the structure, construction and components, ways of communication with the infrastructure (V2I) and with other vehicles (V2V), communication with on board information from CAN and OBD, usage of GPS signal, gyroscope, and user interface. The usage of OBU in the project enables to introduce new functionalities.

Opis:: Modern Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) are now being widely deployed; in order to ensure that these deployments will bring maximum benefit to end users and other stakeholders, an ITS architecture, which defi nes how the deployed system would fi t into overall ITS structure, has to be defi ned. Help is available to achieve these goals from the European ITS Framework (FRAME) Architecture, now being upgraded by the European project E-FRAME. Within this project also the importance of mutual influence between standards and architecture is judged.

Opis:: The main objectives of all the types of implementation in the field of ITS include facilitation of road traffic that results from efficient utilization of the network of roads, improving road safety and efficient services for travellers. The scope of activities within ITS systems includes road traffic management, demand management, support for management of public transportation, information for passengers, management of vehicles’ fleet, management of incidents and support for rescue teams, advanced technologies inside vehicles and problems of electronic payments and collection of tolls. The ITS applications necessitates development of a strategic basis that regulates the principles of design, implementation and decision-making. Such a basis is provided by ITS architecture. This paper presents the standardization requirements and the structure of services in terms of ITS, discusses the organizational questions concerning architecture and presents current state in terms of development of the national ITS architecture

Opis:: Architecture of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) is a set of general statements which let to plan unified implementation of applications and services, cooperating with each other. Due to formal and practical requirements it should be architecture fulfilling domestic conditions, including public language. The collected knowledge, experience and studies, particularly connected with European Frame ITS architecture, can be a useful start point both to drawing up Polish domestic ITS architecture, as well as to adopting institutional arrangements, allowing for her effective applications and wide approval.

Opis:: In the paper, 5G communication technologies implemented for Intelligent Transport Systems are discussed. Firstly, the essence of the 5G system concept is presented, and the problem of network functions virtualization (NFV) is analyzed. Moreover, the principle of virtualization is explained. Secondly, the analysis of network slicing is performed, from the point of view of transport systems implementation in the future 5G networks. The important part is the analysis of architecture proposals for the 5G communications system, implemented as ITS, for various scenarios of its work. The aim of this paper is the study on practice architecture of the 5G communication network for the ITS system, introduced as physical radio-informatics system implementation.
