- The subject of the text oscillates around the beliefs of the ancient Celts, in particular the question of the attachment of these peoples to the natural world. It is impossible to speak of a precise diagnosis of the problem, because of the limited number of historical sources. The knowledge is provided by the results of archaeological research, which involves quite a number of monuments related to the Celtic material culture. The text will discuss such issues as: sacred groves in the Celtic world, the cult of springs and water reservoirs, as well as totemistic worship of specific animal or plant species. It is necessary to cite the content created by ancient chroniclers and some monuments related to the rituals of the Celts.
