Opis:
In this article, an optimized PID controller for a fuel cell is introduced. It should be noted that we did not compute the PID controller’s coefficients based on trial-and-error method; instead, imperialist competitive algorithms have been considered. At first, the problem will be formulated as an optimization problem and solved by the mentioned algorithm, and optimized results will be obtained for PID coefficients. Then one of the important kinds of fuel cells, called proton exchange membrane fuel cell, is introduced. In order to control the voltage of this fuel cell during the changes in the charges, an optimal controller is introduced, based on the imperialist competitive algorithm. In order to apply this algorithm, the problem is written as an optimization problem which includes objectives and constraints. To achieve the most desirable controller, this algorithm is used for problem solving. Simulations confirm the better performance of proposed PID controller.

The paper shows the construction and control of a climatic chamber used for the credibility evaluation of the profilometic measurements. The paper presents a control model using a PID controller and a solution for air circulation. The data regarding the influence of environmental temperature changes on the three-dimensional representation of the surface realized by means of a tactile profilometer were presented. This work shows the temperature characteristics of a climatic chamber.

Opis:
The paper proposes the application of fractional order controller in position tracking control of 2-link nonlinear robotic arm. The nonlinear system dynamics is linearized using inverse dynamics of the model and fractional order PID controller is designed to deal with remaining tracking errors. The optimal values of controller pa-rameters are calculated using Nelder-Mead optimization technique based on desired design criteria. The objective function is designed using weighted sum approach on each performance specification based on transient domain parameters. It can be seen from simulation results that fractional order controller together with computed torque controller improved tracking performance of proposed system as compared to PID controller used in the outer loop. Moreover, the robustness of proposed scheme is checked by applying the disturbance signal at control input channels of 2-link nonlinear robotic arm links.
