Opis:: The gap is increasing: ThyssenKrupp Rothe Erde manufactures increasingly large workpieces with ever smaller tolerances on behalf of its customers. Quality Assurance in Lippstadt, Germany, therefore sought out a precise system to measure the several-meter large components for offshore technology, large gears and tunneling machines – and convinced ZEISS to design a coordinate measuring machine with a six-meter X axis.
