We use as an example such animalistic nomination as bear in Russian and Bulgarian language and culture, and also bear as a component of Russian and Bulgarian phraseological units. The study aims to examine linguistics and culture specificity in human characterization Russian and Bulgarian language.

Opis:: The subject of the current paper is the issue of nomination as a form of declaring a political view point and political evaluation in the domain of the virtual political discourse in the Internet forum. The paper also dwells on the basic forms of modification of a personal name; the announcement of precedent phenomena and the use of specific names so that the persuasive author’s strategy could be completed. The research work is carried out on the basis of observation related to forum comments of the online versions of two Bulgarian periodicals: «Dnevnik» and «Sega».

Opis:: The aim of the paper is to present how the part of the structure of the name can create a picture of a potential client. The Polish and Russian names of charge cards were analyzed and various groups of these names were discussed, for example: the most traditional/standard names of credit and debit cards as well as preferential cards, cards addressed to women, young people and specific, so called, social cards. The similarities and differences of the economic systems of both countries were also taken into consideration.

Opis:: The present text focuses on English borrowings in the Russian language that are used to coin the names of Russian watches. The problem is scrutinized in the context of the Americanization of culture in post-Soviet Russia. It has been shown that the borrowings most frequently used by the Russian watchmakers are well-established in Russian as they have been functioning in the language at least since the first half of the 20th century. The analysis of nominations employing English borrowings indicates that tendencies in the naming practices in the Russian watchmaking industry seem to be substantially conservative.
В статье рассматриваются английские заимствования, используемые в наименованиях часов русского производства в контексте американизации культуры в постсоветский период истории России. Показано, что если заимствования используются, то это заимствования, которые освоены в первой половине ХХ века. Анализ номинаций с использованием англицизмов говорит о значительной консервативности нейминга в российском часовом производстве.

Opis:: The paper presents linguo-cultural analysis of the concept “mother” in Russian and Polish languages. The concept refers to the category of the basic concepts in both linguo-cultures. The observation of conceptualization of the picture of “mother” made it possible to establish the semantic field of the concept in question and the ways of its linguistic nomination. In the paper, there are also discussed similarities and differences between Polish and Russian perception of the picture of “mother”.
В статье представлены лингвокультурологические разыскания по концепту мать в русском и польском языках. Он относится к разряду основных в обеих лингвокультурах. В ходе наблюдений за кoнцептуализацией образа матери обозначено семантическое поле данного концепта и способы его языковой номинации. Отмечены также сходства и различия в языковом и культурном восприятии образа матери в сопоставляемых языках.

В статье рассматриваются основные модели метафорической номинации при развитии вторичных значений у существительных имен – названий лиц в русском и болгарском языках в новейший период. Установляются самые активные модели метафоризации в обоих языках, выявляются сходства и различия при возникновении новых значений на основе метафоризации.
