Static and dynamic electric quadrupole interactions of $\text{}^{111}$Cd in complexes with diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid were studied by the time differential perturbed angular γγ-correlation technique using two parent isotopes, $\text{}^{111}$In(EC)$\text{}^{111}$Cd and $\text{}^{111 m}$Cd. The measurements were carried out using neutral aqueous solutions of the diethylenetriaminepentaacetic- acid-complexes with initial isotopes at 293 K and 77 K. It was shown that the $\text{}^{111}$Cd-diethylenetriaminepentaacetic-acid-complex in aqueous solutions at pH = 7.0 is characterised by the re-orientational correlation time of 7.7×10$\text{}^{-11}$ s and an electric field gradient V$\text{}_{zz}$=6.7(2)×10$\text{}^{21}$ V/m$\text{}^{2}$ with an asymmetry parameter η=0.75(5). A direct comparison of the electric quadrupole interaction parameters for diethylenetriaminepentaacetic- acid-complexes with $\text{}^{111}$In and $\text{}^{111m}$Cd confirmed the proposal about the fragmentation of the complexes caused by the after-effects of electron capture in $\text{}^{111}$In. An observed difference in the electric quadrupole interaction parameters obtained for the solutions with $\text{}^{111}$In and $\text{}^{111m}$Cd complexes reflects a process of a chemical rearrangement of the complex structure after the In decay into Cd

Opis:
An exact solution is obtained in the tetrad theory of gravitation. This solution is characterized by two parameters k$\text{}_{1}$, k$\text{}_{2}$ of spherically symmetric static Lorentzian wormhole which is obtained as a solution of the equation ρ= ρ$\text{}_{t}$=0 with ρ=T$\text{}_{i,j}$u$\text{}^{i}$u$\text{}^{j}$, ρ$\text{}_{t}$ =(T$\text{}_{ij}$-1/2Tg$\text{}_{ij}$) u$\text{}^{i}$u$\text{}^{j}$, where u$\text{}^{i}$u$\text{}_{i}$=-1. From this solution which contains an arbitrary function we can generate the other two solutions obtained before. The associated metric of this space-time is a static Lorentzian wormhole and it includes the Schwarzschild black hole, a family of naked singularity and a disjoint family of Lorentzian wormholes. Calculating the energy content of this tetrad field and using the gravitational energy momentum given by Møller in the teleparallel space-time we find that the resulting form depends on the arbitrary function and does not depend on the two parameters k$\text{}_{1}$ and k$\text{}_{2}$ characterizing the wormhole. Using the regularized expression of the gravitational energy momentum we get the value of energy which does not depend on the arbitrary function.

Opis:
The singularity of the solutions obtained before in the teleparallel theory of gravitation is studied. Also the stability of these solutions is studied using the equations of geodesic deviation. The condition of stability is obtained. From this condition the stability of the Schwarzschild solution can be obtained.

It is known that in the last decade, a sharp decrease of students' interest and motivation for learning science was registered. Taking this fact into account, new ways for raising the students' interest and motivation should be promoted, mostly based on using digital tools in the teaching/learning process. In this sense, if we are thinking that nanoscience and nanotechnology are new areas of science which come with a lot of interesting applications in different areas, the topics related to the nanoscience and nanotechnology introduced in the science lessons - at the students' knowledge level - can lead to the effective raise of students' interest for science. Starting from those premises, Valahia University Targoviste participates as partner with other five institutions from Turkey, Bulgaria, Greece, and Italy to the LLP KA3-ICT project no. 511787-LLP-1-2010-1-TR-KA3-KA3MP: "Nano-Tech Science Education" oriented on searching the most effective ways to introduce the nanotechnology concepts in science lessons, in the secondary education. In this respect, this paper presents a study based on the data collected from different target groups of the project, with the view to identify the suitable features for setting up a specific NanoTech Virtual Lab.

We have calculated the energies of some low-lying levels ($6d7s^2,$ $6d^2 7s,$ $6d7s7p$ and $6d^27p$) and electric dipole transition parameters (wavelengths, oscillator strengths and transition probabilities) between them for neutral actinium (Z=89). In the calculations, the correlation and relativistic effects are considered by multiconfiguration Hartree-Fock method within the framework Breit-Pauli Hamiltonian. The results obtained are compared with the available experimental and theoretical works in the literature.

Ferromagnetic resonance in glass-coated amorphous microwires FeSiB and CoFeSiB with the diameters varying from 133 nm to 25 μm and the glass thickness about 10 μm was measured at frequency of 9.5 GHz. Electric polarization of the wire can substantially amplify the microwave magnetic field on the sample surface. This allows us to achieve the threshold fields for nonlinear behavior with microwave power of only few mW. Above some critical value of incident power a distortion of central part of FMR curves is observed for FeSiB wires. For diameters less than 6 μm a series of sharp, nearly equidistant peaks appears with the period δH inversely proportional to the wire diameter. The phenomenon is explained by the parametric excitation of dipole-exchange modes via the first order Suhl spin-wave instability and the spin-wave confinement in very thin wires. In the CoFeSiB wires the nonlinear phenomena cannot be achieved even with the maximum power available (about 25 mW). It is probably because the threshold field is higher due to larger Gilbert damping constant and lower saturation magnetization of this alloy.

We study the problem of a thin film of neutral fermions in the presence of a magnetic field and scattering on random, uncorrelated irregularities at the boundaries of the film. An attractive interaction of s-wave type is assumed. We solve the equation for the energy gap and demonstrate its dependence on both the field and the scattering strength. The phase diagram is found. There exists a critical point (T$\text{}_{c}^{\star}$, H$\text{}_{c}^{\star}$). For temperatures below T$\text{}_{c}^{\star}$ the phase transition is of the first order and of the second order above it. As expected, the surface scattering significantly reduces the values of the critical field and temperature T$\text{}_{c}$. The critical point changes its position with increasing scattering rate but is not removed from the phase diagram until superfluidity is destroyed.

The specific interactions between bovine serum albumin and poly- or two monoclonal bovine serum albumin antibodies were studied using force spectroscopy mode of atomic force microscopy. The histograms of the unbinding forces for polyclonal bovine serum albumin antibodies are broad at high antibody concentrations (50 or 270 μg/ml) and narrow at low concentrations (10 or 27 μg/ml), while the histograms for monoclonal antibodies peak at well defined unbinding force. The peak unbinding force depends on the type of antibody and the antibody concentration. In this paper we described and characterized the passive adsorption and covalent immobilization of proteins for tip and sample preparation. Force spectroscopy could serve as a useful method for characterization of antigen-antibody interactions for measuring the specificity of an antibody or to assess the purity of a monoclonal antibody solution and to distinguish between different antibodies.

The autoionization process has an important role in many areas such as satellite line formation, inner-shell ionization, and diagnostics of astrophysical and fusion plasmas. We have here reported autoionization rates for some levels of Na-like tungsten (W⁶³⁺) and gold (Au⁶⁸⁺), and Mg-like tungsten (W⁶²⁺) and gold (Au⁶⁷⁺) using AUTOSTRUCTURE atomic code. In calculations, the Breit interactions, quantum electrodynamics and configuration interaction effects have been considered. The results obtained for tungsten ions have been compared with other available results. Also new results for gold ions have been presented.

In this work the theory of free induction decay in linear and cross-linked flexible polymers with a various average length of a polymeric chain in a wide temperature is represented. It is shown the change of topological structure of linear polymers with increasing of mean molecular weight $M_{w}$, and at $M_{w} > 10^5$ the physical network of entanglements starts being formed. The correlation function of molecular motion which is applied to calculation of diffusion attenuation of spin echo is received. The general approach to calculation of signals of diffusion attenuation spin echo and its application for determination of coefficient of self-diffusion in elastomers with various topological structures is offered. It allowed explanation observed experimentally anomalous diffusion.

In the paper feasibility analysis of the surface acoustic wave based electronic warning system was presented. As a transducer in the system the surface acoustic wave delay line was proposed. It is fabricated in standard single mask process as a pair of interdigital transducers placed on the top of piezoelectric crystal substrate. Transducer is a plate with rectangular cross-section and it converts all environmental vibration to electric signal. From electronic point of view it was considered as a two-port network. Necessary condition for proper sensor operation is that the input signal frequency from external generator should be close to central frequency of delay line. Principle of operation of the sensor is that the measured phase shift of high frequency signal has frequency equal resonant frequency of vibrating plate and its amplitude is proportional to vibration amplitude of transducer. The environmental vibrations are defined by amplitude of the output signal and the threat location is pointed by resonant frequency of excited transducer. The described above principles of sensor operation allow us designing electronic warning system consisting of many sensors with different resonant frequencies of transducers. Output signals from precisely located sensors contain all necessary information about the whole warning system. This information is easy to transmit and detect by simple electronic circuits based on phase detector and proper data acquisition system, for which necessary conditions are presented.

The paper presents surface acoustic wave vibration sensor electronic system. The system cooperates with surface acoustic wave delay line. The sensor has been designed for electronic warning systems. The sensor is a four-terminal network. In the system, there is a cascade connection of sensors by means of coaxial cable. Test signal and constant supply voltage are jointly sent between sensors. Separating the signals, their summation and amplification of test signal as well as matching the line to impedance 50 Ω are performed by surface acoustic wave vibration sensor electronic system. The electronic system devices and the making of them are discussed. System development of such a sensor is presented and its design is analysed. Experimental examination results of surface acoustic wave vibration sensor are presented. Parasitic effects occurring in vibration sensor electronic system operation connected with electromagnetic coupling and ground current coupling are discussed.

The analysis of vibrations excitation in surface acoustic wave vibrations sensors is the aim of our work. The sensors are parts of electronic warning system which is intended to be mounted at fences of guarded object. The vibration excitation with expected acceleration is needed during experiments. Elements of fences are replaced by tense strings for experimental purposes and the surface acoustic wave vibration sensors are fastened to these strings. Analysis of the assembly string-sensor takes into account not only the mass of sensor but its moment of inertia, too. Free vibrations of string-sensor assembly are considered. The standard excitation by pulling off string in chosen point causes vibrations. The normal vibrations of assembly (frequencies, orthogonal set of normal functions) are calculated and used for calculations of free vibrations. The spectrum of the standard free vibrations is calculated. The results will be used in the experimental stand. The calculations enable excitation of vibrations with expected spectrum. The stand enables tests of the whole warning system. The thresholds of detection and reaction at concurrent intruder alarm will be investigated at this laboratory stand.

The topic of the paper is analysis of feasibility of surface acoustic wave vibration sensors for linear electronic warning systems. In linear warning systems localisation of the object is realised by pointing out the sensors which detect vibrations caused by the object. The information sent out by the detector enables identification of the sensor and its state. The sensor contains surface acoustic wave delay line in four-terminal network. The delay line is formed at the surface of piezoelectric plate. The vibrations of the plate are caused by vibrations of the medium surrounding the sensor. The frequency of the input signal is equal to the working frequency of delay line. The phase of the output signal is shifted in comparison with the input signal. The frequency of the phase shift would be equal to the resonance frequency of the sensor plate. The change of the output signal amplitude would be proportional to the amplitude of plate vibrations. The measured amplitude and frequency of the output signal would be registered by simple electronic devices. The measurements give us knowledge which sensor vibrates and the intensity of these vibrations. Such sensors enable construction of the electronic warning system.

The main parameters of micromagnetic structure formation in a vicinity of a second order phase transition were determined experimentally and theoretically. The theoretical study was performed using micromagnetic approach. External magnetic field $H_{c}$ of appearance of micromagnetic structure and micromagnetic structure period $L_{c}$ were determined for (001)-oriented plate with uniaxial $K_{u}$ and cubic K₁ magnetic anisotropy. The plate was saturated by the field applied in its plane. In the model we assumed that magnetization vector undergoes small deviations from equilibrium if magnetic field is slightly reduced. These deviations are periodic in nature: micromagnetic structure has a form of a plane wave. Dependences of $H_{c}$ and $L_{c}$ on an azimuthal angle of external magnetic field and on anisotropy constants $K_{u}$ and K₁ were derived analytically in this work. Experimental studies of micromagnetic structure near the second order phase transition were conducted on (EuEr)₃(FeGa)₅O₁₂ (001)-oriented 50 μm thick ferrite-garnet plate with $K_{u}$ = 5700 erg/cm³ and K₁=-3700 erg/cm³. Micromagnetic structure was revealed by means of magnetooptic Faraday effect. The in-plane field was increased up to 2000 Oe. Experimentally determined values of $H_{c}$ and $L_{c}$ were compared with theoretical estimates.
