Opis:: Effect of organic ( with Humidol Standard) and mineral (with NPK) fertilization on some physico-chemical and chemical properties of sandy soils in the LGOM region were studied.The experiment was founded with two factors and a sub-block method.Humidol Standard was intro- duced once, and minerał fertilisation each year. The studies showed that fertilisation with Humidol Standards inereased the amount of organie matter, improved fraction composition of humic com- pounds and physico-chemical properties of sandy soils. Fertilisation with Humidol Standard com- bined with NPK can be a safe agrotechnical treatment that improves soil fertility in a short period of time in the region of LGOM.

Opis:: The subject of the present research has been to study the influenceof herbicidal fallow and mulching in the tree-rows on some of the soil properties and yields of apples var.Elstar.In the experiment the following combinations of soil treatmentwere applied:herbicidal fallow, pine bark, black foil and non-woven polyethylene. The applied combinations of treatments affected changes in the physico-chemical and chemical soil properties. These properties varied in the quantity and quality of organic material and intensity of nutrient teaching. The results obtained showed that mulching was a simple treatment that improved yields. In growing var. Elstar apples, mulching with pine hark yielded positive production effects.

Opis:: Catchment of the Mielnica Stream is situated in Trzebnica Mills area, covered with loess soils and under an intensive agricultural use, Bathometrical and hydrometrical measurements were taken in the hydrological years 1982/83-1993/94. Daily and periodical masses of a suspended load carried out through the hydrometrical cross-section, flow and unit run-off rates were analysed. The weight of total measured annual sediment ranged from 2.56 Mg to 295.94 Mg. Value of the mean annual flow rate, at the catchment closing cross-section, ranged from 8 to 191s-1 and the maximum daily values from /8 to 434 /s-1. Additional analyses of water chemical composition were made in the years 1988-1990. Sixteen different chemical compounds and elements were investigated. Calculated chemical denudation indices were determined by the hydrometeorological conditions.
