    Opis:
    The issue of energy-aware traffic engineering has become prominent in telecommunications industry in the last years. This paper presents a two-criteria network optimization problem, in which routing and bandwidth allocation are determined jointly, so as to minimize the amount of energy consumed by a telecommunication infrastructure and to satisfy given demands represented by a traffic matrix. A scalarization of the criteria is proposed and the choice of model parameters is discussed in detail. The model of power dissipation as a function of carried traffic in a typical software router is introduced. Then the problem is expressed in a form suitable for the mixed integer quadratic programming (MIQP) solver. The paper is concluded with a set of small, illustrative computational examples. Computed solutions are implemented in a testbed to validate the accuracy of energy consumption models and the correctness of the proposed traffic engineering algorithm.

    Treści artykułu były prezentowane i stanowiły między innymi przedmiot rozważań międzynarodowej konferencji naukowej zorganizowanej w Wydziale Zarządzania i Dowodzenia Akademii Sztuki Wojennej (WZiD ASzWoj). Zawarte w nim zostały aktualne, współczesne treści, poglądy, ustalenia, przewidywania, odniesienia oraz wizje dotyczące dokonujących się obecnie przemian cywilizacyjnych (ustrojowych, gospodarczych, społecznych, kulturowych, ekonomicznych i oświatowych) stanowiących i generujących oraz powodujących wielowymiarowość i różnorodność logistyki w teorii i praktyce, ustalając określony zakres badań naukowych i praktykę gospodarczą dziedzin bezpieczeństwa i obronności w obszarze nauk o społeczeństwie. Wielowymiarowości i różnorodność logistyki towarzyszy zatem „stały” powiększający swój zakres przedmiotowy problem dotyczący tego co jest a co nie jest logistyką? Niewątpliwie wskazane wcześniej przemiany cywilizacyjne są naturalną konsekwencją rozwoju (ewolucji) teorii logistyki i jej praktycznego zastosowania.
    The content of the article was presented and discussed among other during the international scientific conference at the Department of Management and Command of the Military Academy of Arts. The elaboation covers updated contemporary issues, opinions, prognoses, references and visions concerning ongoing civilization changes (systemic, economic, social, cultural and educational)generating the variety of logistics and causing its multidimensionality in theory and practice outlining the certain range of scientific research and economic practice of the security and defense branches in the field of social sciences. Since the variety and multidimensionality of logistics have been accompanied with its permanently increasing topical range of the problem concerning the choice what is logistics or not. Undoubtedly, the formerly indicated civilization changes are a natural consequence of development (evolution) of the logistics theory and its practical use.

    W literaturze przedmiotu istnieje wiele metod służących ocenie jakości działalności marketingowej organizacji (np. audyt marketingowy, czy kontrola rentowności marketingu). Są też takie, które można do tej oceny zaadaptować. A zatem celem niniejszego artykułu jest identyfikacja metod pokrewnych możliwych do zastosowania w ocenie jakości działalności marketingowej organizacji. Stąd też w opracowaniu przedstawiono systematykę tych metod w podziale na dwie odrębne grupy: służące do wspomagania wyborów wielokryterialnych oraz do porównywania wielowymiarowych obiektów.
    There are many methods in the literature for purpose of assessing the marketing activities quality in organizations (e.g. a marketing audit, control and profitability of marketing). There are also methods that can be adapted for this assessment. Therefore, the aim of this article is to identify methods possible to use in assessing the quality of marketing activities in organizations. In this document you will find a systematization of methods in two different groups: designed to support multi-criteria choices and designed to compare multidimensional objects.

    Opis:
    Mining-method selection (MMS) is one of the most critical and complex decision making processes in mine planning. Therefore, it has been a subject of several studies for many years culminating with the development of different systems. However, there is still more to be done to improve and/or create more efficient systems and deal with the complexity caused by many influencing factors. This study introduces the application of the entropy method for feature selection, i.e., select the most critical factors in MMS. The entropy method is applied to assess the relative importance of the factors influencing MMS by estimating their objective weights to then select the most critical. Based on the results, ore strength, host-rock strength, thickness, shape, dip, ore uniformity, mining costs, and dilution were identified as the most critical factors. This study adopts the entropy method in the data preparation step (i.e., feature selection) for developing a novel-MMS system that employs recommendation system technologies. The most critical factors will be used as main variables to create the dataset to serve as a basis for developing the model for the novel-MMS system. This study is a key step to optimize the performance of the model.

    W artykule przedstawiono czynniki wpływające na wyniki pomiarów stacji meteorologicznej ze względu na jej lokalizację. Dotychczasowa procedura analizy lokalizacji opierała się na przydzieleniu stacji do jednej z pięciu klas ze względu na wpływ czynników zniekształcających pomiar danego elementu meteorologicznego. W pracy zaproponowano strukturę hierarchiczną kryteriów oceniającą lokalizację dla stacji meteorologicznej z uwzględnieniem ważności kryteriów. Na tej podstawie umożliwiono określenie optymalnej lokalizacji dla stacji meteorologicznej ze względu na przyjęte kryteria oraz ich wpływu na ocenę końcową.
    The article presents the factors affecting the results of meteorological station measurements due to its location. The previous location analysis procedure was based on assigning stations to one of five classes due to the influence of factors that distort the measurement of a given meteorological element. The paper proposes a hierarchical structure of criteria assessing the location of the meteorological station, taking into account the validity of the criteria. On this basis, it was possible to determine the optimal location for the meteorological station due to the adopted criteria and their impact on the final grade.
