W pracy przedstawiono budowę i zasadę działania hydraulicznych układów wykonawczych i obciążających, wykorzystujących elementy proporcjonalnej hydrauliki siłowej oraz koncepcję ich zastosowania w stanowiskach do badań wytrzymałościowych, trwałościowych i funkcjonalnych. Elektroniczne sterowanie pracą tych układów daje szerokie możliwości modelowania warunków testów i automatyzacji długotrwałych, cyklicznych procesów badawczych. W Instytucie Technologii Eksploatacji - PIB zostało wykonane stanowisko do badania hydraulicznych narzędzi ratowniczych z inteligentnym hydraulicznym układem obciążającym, wykorzystującym technikę proporcjonalną. Podczas testów na stanowisku możliwe jest zadawanie obciążeń czynnych i biernych, odwzorowujących rzeczywiste warunki pracy, zbadanie charakterystyk roboczych narzędzi oraz wykonanie badań atestacyjnych. Przedstawiono schemat blokowy stanowiska, omówiono hydrauliczny system jego zasilania, zaprezentowano system sterowania, regulacji i pomiarów oraz przykładowe wyniki badań rozpieracza hydraulicznego.
The article presents the construction and principles of the operation of hydraulic actuators and loading systems which use elements of proportional high pressure hydraulics and the concept of their application in stands designed for resistance, durability and function tests. Electronic control of the operation of those systems provides a wide variety of possibilities for the modelling of test conditions and the automation of long-lasting, cyclic research processes. The test stand for hydraulic rescue tools with an intelligent hydraulic loading system, which uses the proportional technique, has been constructed in the Institute for Sustainable Technologies - NRI. Within tests performed at the stand, there is the possibility of applying active and reactive loads representing the actual operating conditions, the testing of the characteristics of working tools as well as carrying out attestation tests. The block diagram of the stand, the hydraulic system of its supply, and the system of control, regulation, and measurements, have been presented, as well as examples of the test results of a wheel cylinder.

The present article contains an introductory bibliography for the use of students of the Dead Sea Scrolls. It focuses on the editions of the manuscripts and additional exegetical tools as well as resources necessary in initial and further research. Short notes added to some entries are intended to help the interested reader to get acquainted with the content and relevance of a particular publication. The second part of the article includes an updated list of archeological, philological and bibliographical sources needed for a proper exegetical approach to the scrolls.

Uważność może być rozumiana jako stan lub cecha. Z tego powodu istnieje wiele niejasności, które wynikają głównie z braku precyzji dotyczącej zakładanego modelu uważności. Podobne rozbieżności dotyczą stosowanych narzędzi badawczych służących do pomiaru nasilenia uważności. Jak dowodzą liczne badania, narzędzia te mierzą nieco odmienne konstrukty psychologiczne. Dlatego badacze coraz częściej podejmują próby wyróżnienia oraz bardziej precyzyjnego rozdzielenia dwóch odmiennych aspektów uważności, tj. cechy i stanu, oraz opracowania na tej podstawie bardziej trafnych narzędzi badawczych. Niniejszy artykuł to przegląd istniejących miar uważności, z uwzględnieniem polskich adaptacji i ukazaniem ich specyfiki.
Mindfulness can be understood as a state, trait or practice. For this reason, there are many uncertainties that result mainly from the lack of precision regarding the mindfulness model. Similar ambiguities exist in the field of research tools to measure the mindfulness. As many researchers prove, these tools measure slightly different psychological constructs. For this reason researchers attempt to distinguish two different aspects of mindfulness, the trait and state, and on this basis develop more accurate research tools. This article is a review of existing measures of mindfulness, taking into account Polish adaptations, showing their specificity.

The aim of the research presented in this paper was to solve one of the fundamental problems of modelling and simulation, i.e., verification of a model as a scientific tool of operations research. To attack this problem, certain crucial issues in the philosophy of science (the demarcation problem, the principle of verifiability) must be redefined. In discussing the question of verification, a procedure (the so called RAD-VER procedure) for verifying a model of a microeconomic system, in our case – a firm, is formulated. It is assumed that verification is a ceaseless process of evaluating a model’s scientificity from the standpoints of deductive reasoning, coherency and empiricism. Verification has been divided into two stages: the verification of the assumptions underlying the model of a firm and the verification of the simulator.

In the article the author reveals some consistent view of the methodology of social research, taking into account the specificities of its disciplines. She emphasizes that the selection of the theme of work is extremely important from the point of view of qualitative research. The research procedures require us to select a rational way of solving problems. The validity of the criteria of the formulated problems, among them the practical value, is indicated by a number of methodologists in various subdisciplines of social sciences and humanities. In the article the author tries to answer the question whether, because of the similarity of the tools used, methods and research techniques applied, should we create a common, consistent methodology of social sciences.
W artykule autorka wskazuje na pewne spójne spojrzenie na metodologię badań społecznych, uwzględniając specyfikę poszczególnych jej dyscyplin. Podkreśla, iż dobór tematu pracy jest niezmiernie istotny z punktu widzenia badań jakościowych. W procedurze badań wybieramy racjonalną drogę rozwiązywania problemów. Na ważność kryteriów sformułowanego problemu, a wśród nich wartość praktyczną, wskazuje wielu metodologów różnych subdyscyplin nauk społecznych i humanistycznych. W artykule autorka próbuje odpowiedzieć na pytanie, czy ze względu na podobieństwo stosowanych narzędzi, metod czy technik badawczych nie należałoby stworzyć wspólnej, spójnej metodologii nauk społecznych.

W artykule przedstawiono zagadnienie wykorzystania rzeczywistości wirtualnej do badania wpływu przemysłowego robota współpracującego na pracownika, w szczególności wywołany bliską obecnością robota niepokój. Opisano procedurę badań obejmującą symulację w rzeczywistości wirtualnej współpracy z robotem przy montażu elementów silników. Przedstawiono narzędzia kwestionariuszowe planowane do użycia w trakcie badań z ochotnikami oraz wyniki badań pilotażowych. Wyniki właściwych badań opisane zostaną w drugiej części artykułu.
The article presents the issue of the use of the virtual reality in order to study the impact of an industrial collaborative robot on an employee, in particular anxiety caused by the close presence of the robot. The research procedure is described, including simulation in virtual reality of cooperation with a robot during the assembly of engine components. The questionnaire tools planned to be used in research with volunteers and the results of the pilot research are described. The results of the final research will be described in the second part of the article.

This paper outlines relevant issues in analyzing foreign language classroom communication patterns. Following a brief theoretical and historical background, it proceeds to discuss technical aspects of data collection and elaboration. Recording interaction between teachers and students is difficult but it later leads to an even more challenging task of transcribing talk. For this purpose, the article offers model instances of different traditions in compiling transcripts. However, the bulk of the present text is devoted to the exemplification of different applications of analysis of educational discourse. The samples, drawn from classroom interactions involving English, French and Polish as L2, illustrate topics such as corrective feedback, metatalk, the use of L1, and teacher questions. At the end, recommendations are given regarding further explorations and readings.

Artykuł prezentuje koncepcję empowermentu i możliwość wykorzystania jej w zarządzaniu organizacjami. Zaprezentowano w nim istotę empowermentu w fazie rozwiniętej oraz zidentyfikowano warunki funkcjonowania organizacji związane z wdrożeniem tej koncepcji do praktyki zarządzania. Celem artykułu było zaprezentowanie narzędzia identyfikacji i pomiaru poziomu empowermentu w organizacjach i wykorzystanie tego narzędzia w zarządzaniu. W badaniach wykorzystano narzędzie skonstruowane przez autorów, które diagnozuje przejawy świadczące o poziomie i zakresie empowermentu. Dodatkowym walorem zastosowanego narzędzia jest możliwość, przy jego użyciu, diagnozowania tych obszarów, które należy doskonalić, aby nie stały się barierą samodzielności pracowników. Wyniki badań wskazują, że bariery te najczęściej występują w obszarach samodzielności, odpowiedzialności i akceptacji przez przełożonych partycypacji pracowników w podejmowaniu decyzji.
The article presents the concept of empowerment and the possibility of using it in the management of organizations. It formulated the essence of the empowerment in the developed phase and identified the conditions for the functioning of the organization related to the implementation of this concept in the practice of management. The main purpose of the article was to present tools for identifying and measuring the level of empowerment in organizations and conditions of using this tool in management. The research used a tool constructed by the authors, which diagnoses manifestations of the level and extent of empowerment. An additional advantage of the used tool is the possibility, with its help, to diagnose those areas that should be improved so that they do not become a barrier of employee independence. The research results indicate that these barriers most often occur in the areas of independence, responsibility and acceptance of employee participation in decision making by superiors.

At the beginning of this article we characterize the current technological education in primary schools affected by the negative impact of school reform (2008–2012). We then further describe of the methodology of field of educational research: aims, methods, hypothesis and research sample. We analyze the main research tools: non-standardized educational practical tests and observation sheets. Based on statistical processing of the student results we verify the hypothesis of the research.
