Opis:
In the paper, a method for determination of a normal flexibility characteristic of the contact between elements joined in a multi-bolted connection is presented. Research were carried out using equivalent samples, which substitute joined elements. An assessment of the surface texture of the samples and the joined elements is accomplished. An experimental function between normal contact pressure and normal contact deformations for investigated elements is appointed.

Opis:
A three-level multi-input DC/DC converter is proposed to solve the problems of complex interface circuit structure and high economic cost for multi-source access to the joint power supply distribution system. In this structure, multiple dc sources are integrated into a three-level DC/DC converter. In comparison with the two-stage counterpart, two active switches and boost diodes are eliminated, while two blocking diodes are added to block the reverse current from the dc-link capacitors. In addition, when the input inductors work in the discontinuous conduction mode, power sharing among different input sources can be achieved by properly selecting the inductance value. The working principle of the converter is analyzed by introducing nine working modes in detail and deriving the steady-state relationship expressions. The parameter range of the element is determined and the design process of a group of dynamic parameter values is shown. Finally, the power electronics real-time simulation platform is built based on StarSim HIL and the corresponding experimental waveforms are given to verify the topology and analysis.

Opis:
Multi-parameter data visualization methods are a modern tool allowing to classify some analyzed objects. When it comes to grained materials, e.g. coal, many characteristics have an influence on the material quality. Besides the most obvious features like particle size, particle density or ash contents, coal has many other qualities which show significant differences between the studied types of material. The paper presents the possibility of applying visualization techniques for coal type identification and determination of significant differences between various types of coal. The Principal Component Analysis was applied to achieve this purpose. Three types of coal 31, 34.2 and 35 (according to Polish classification of coal types) were investigated, which were initially screened on sieves and subsequently divided into density fractions. Next, each size-density fraction was analyzed chemically to obtain other characteristics. It was pointed out that the applied methodology allowed to identify certain coal types efficiently, which makes it useful as a qualitative criterion for grained materials. However, it was impossible to provide such identification based on contrastive comparisons of all three types of coal. The presented methodology is a new way of analyzing data concerning widely understood mineral processing.

Opis:
Single and multi-regression analysis was applied for the corrosion study of transmission of substituent effects on IR carbonyl stretching frequencies and 13C chemical shifts of some substituted oxazepin compounds. The substituent effects were estimated on the basis of results of the statistical analysis. The differences among the obtained regression coefficients were discussed in terms of the relative importance of the field, inductive and resonance effects of substituent.

Opis:
Wind power integration through the voltage source converter-based high-voltage direct current (VSC-HVDC) system will be a potential solution for delivering large-scalewind power to the “Three-North Regions” of China. However, the interaction between the doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) and VSC-HVDC system may cause the risk of subsynchronous oscillation (SSO). This paper establishes a small-signal model of the VSC based multi-terminal direct current (VSC-MTDC) system with new energy access for the problem, and the influencing factors causing SSO are analyzed based on the eigen valueanalysis method. The theoretical analysis results show that the SSO in the system is related to the wind farm operating conditions, the rotor-side controller (RSC) of the DFIG and the interaction of the controller in the VSC-MTDC system. Then, the phase lag characteristicis obtained based on the signal test method, and a multi-channel variable-parameter subsynchronous damping controller (SSDC) is designed via selecting reasonable parameters. Finally, the correctness of the theoretical analysis and the effectiveness of the multi-channelvariable-parameter SSDC are verified based on time-domain simulation.
