    Opis:
    Today's hard coal mining is first of all, the modern mining and conveying machinery. Work safety and its efficiency depends on the level of technical equipment at mining face. High volume investments in that area are technological necessity. Failure-free longwalls operation and technological potential are important issues. Mining chains play a key role there. Their strength as well as other dynamic parameters decide on the continuity of the longwall system's performance. The paper is focused on the innovations in the manufacturing of mining chains for Armored Face Conveyors and Beam Stage Loaders, stressing at the same time, the role of mining chains in the mining conveying system.
    Współczesne górnictwo węgla kamiennego to przede wszystkim nowoczesne urządzenia urabiająco-transportujące. Bezpieczeństwo pracy i jej wydajność uzależnione są od poziomu technicznego uzbrojenia pracy. Wysokonakładowe inwestycje w uzbrojenie frontu eksploatacyjnego stają się technologiczną koniecznością. Ważnym zagadnieniem jest bezawaryjność pracy kompleksów ścianowych i ich potencjał eksploatacyjny. Kluczową rolę w tych urządzeniach spełniają łańcuchy górnicze. Ich wytrzymałość i pozostałe parametry dynamiczne decydują o ciągłości pracy całego kompleksu eksploatacyjnego. W artykule akcentując znaczenie łańcuchów górniczych w systemie transportu ścianowego i podścianowego zwrócono uwagę na innowacyjność w zakresie ich wytwarzania i uniwersalność stosowania w przenośnikach ścianowych i podścianowych.

    Opis:
    To study the influence of the random load on the V-lock chain ring for mining, the numerical simulation technology is used. The dynamic tension is obtained by using the dynamic model of the plough. The life and damage nephograms are obtained by using ANSYS Workbench. The analysis results show that the short fatigue life region of the V-lock chain ring for mining is mainly concentrated on the transition region between the medial straight edge and arc, and the fatigue damage of the link chain on the side of the motion direction of the plow head is larger than that on the other side. This link chain has strong anti-fatigue performance.

    The purpose of the study is presentation of the method of increasing the competitiveness of the mining industry through the demonstration of the possibility and potential in closing the loop of supply chains through waste management. A critical analysis of the source literature and an arithmetic analysis of statistical data in static and dynamic perspectives were accepted to be the research method. It has been found that the structure of the level of mining wastes and the level of their recovery rates demonstrate a large potential of closing the loop of chains in this industry and, at the same time, a potential to extend the chains through directing the material from recovery to various sectors. This constitutes an example of the direction of activities that are in line with the EU strategies for the economies of other states which possess this type wastes.

    W artykule przedstawiono rozwiązanie wciągarki łańcuchowej WŁ-51 będące efektem współpracy ITG KOMAG, FMiU OMAG Sp. z o.o. oraz KOPEX MACHINERY S.A.. Wciągarka, zabudowana w kompleksie ścianowym MIKRUS, przeznaczona jest do naciągu i prowadzenia układaka przewodów doprowadzających media robocze do kombajnu urabiającego. Określono wymagane parametry techniczne urządzenia, omówiono proces projektowania i opisano ostateczną postać konstrukcyjną wciągarki.
    Design of WŁ-51 chain hoist, developer in collaboration between KOMAG, FMiU OMAG Ltd. and KOPEX MACHINERY, JSC, is presented. The hoist is installed in MIKRUS longwall system and it is designed for tensioning and guiding the setter of hoses supplying the shearer with working media. Required technical parameters of the hoist are specified, designing process is discussed and final design of the hoist is described.

    Efektem długotrwałego współdziałania ogniw poziomych z dnami gniazd może być zużycie deformujące dna gniazda i flanki zębów, które całkowicie zmienia warunki zachowania się ogniw na bębnie łańcuchowym. Podobnie obecność urobku jest powodem zanieczyszczenia den gniazd bębnów łańcuchowych zmieniając położenie ogniw poziomych w gniazdach. Zaprezentowano wyniki badań komputerowych wpływu zużycia den gniazd i flanki zębów na parametry opisujące położenie ogniwa poziomego w gnieździe dla bębnów łańcuchowych o liczbie zębów wynoszącej z = 6 i z= 8 współdziałających z łańcuchem ogniwowym 30x108 w zróżnicowanych warunkach tarcia.
    Long-term interactions between horizontal links and socket bottoms may produce the wear effect which deforms the socket bottoms and teeth flanks. This situation completely changes the conditions of the links operations on a chain drum. Additionally, the socket bottoms of chain drums get contaminated by mined rock and this way the position of horizontal links in the sockets changes. The article features the results of computer tests for the wear effect of socket bottoms and teeth flanks on the parameters describing the position of a horizontal link in the socket for chain drums with the number of teeth z= 6 and z= 8 interacting with a link chain 30x108 in varied friction conditions.

    Rare earth elements (REE) have turned from an inconspicuous group of raw materials to critical commodities in the last decade. The insatiable and continuously growing demand for rare earths combined with their small and opaque market has resulted in a global exploration boom that has led to the delineation of extensive resources on every continent. Nevertheless, the special boundary conditions that govern the REE industry require second thoughts and careful evaluations when it comes to the potential exploitation of such resources. Past mistakes, with respect to environmental impacts and uncertain investments, have resulted in an overall uncertainty whether the mining and beneficiation of rare earth elements can be a viable industry in a free market context. This paper attempts to record the erroneous practices of the past and use them as guidelines to strengthen the global REE supply-chain. Moreover, the paper focuses on the assessments that need to be made in order to optimize the mining process and reinforce the growth prospects of the market. An overall assessment tool for the mineability of rare earth deposits is also used to consolidate these evaluations and answer the question, if REE mining can be sustainable.

    Podano przyczyny i uwarunkowania prowadzenia badań i oceny stateczności koparek górnictwa odkrywkowego. Przedstawiono sposób prowadzenia badań oraz metodę oceny stateczności. Omówiono zagadnienie korekty stateczności na podstawie uzyskanych wyników badań. Zaprezentowano uzyskane wyniki badań koparki łańcuchowej Rs 560. Stwierdzono, że stateczność koparki jest zachowana dla wszystkich stanów obciążeń zgodnie z normą ISO 5049-1.
    The reasons and conditions for testing and assessing of open cast mining excavators stability have been given. The way of conducting tests and the method for assessing stability have been showed. The issue of stability correction based on obtained tests results has been discussed. The obtained bucket chain excavator Rs 560 test results have been presented. It has been found that the excavator’s stability is maintained for all load states in accordance with the ISO5049-1 standard.

    W artykule przedstawiono charakterystyką uszkodzeń ogniw wielkogabarytowych podwozi gąsienicowych. Przytoczono opisane w literaturze możliwe sposoby zwiększenia trwałości tych elementów poprzez unowocześnienie technologii ich wytwarzania. Zaproponowano zmiany rozwiązań konstrukcyjnych jako komplementarne względem wymienionych zaleceń. Przedstawiono wyniki analiz wytrzymałościowych ogniw po zastosowaniu proponowanych zmian ich budowy. Wyniki te zostały ze sobą porównane oraz odniesione do wcześniejszych symulacji numerycznych przeprowadzonych przez autora. Na tej podstawie dokonana została ocena badanych rozwiązań.
    The article presents the characteristic of failures of caterpillar chain links of large-size working machines. The possible ways of increasing the durability of these parts by modernization of production technology used to form the elements were described. The structural modifications were proposed as an addition to that type of changes. The results of the strength analyses of the chain links after the implementation of these modifications were presented. The outcomes were compared among them and referred to the results of the previous simulations performed by the author. On the basis of this the evaluation of the proposed modifications was carried out.

    In the paper some examples of reasoning with 2-uncertain rules are presented. First of all, they will illustrate the method for designing 2-uncertain rules from medical aggregate data. The obtained rules compose the knowledge base of a medical Rule-Based System (RBS) aiding medical diagnosis and treatment. For each obtained rule two determined factors of rules' reliability - global and internal ones - will rank it in the designed RBS. Furthermore, the presented examples will realize the influence of the reliability factors on the process of uncertain reasoning.

    Podano przyczyny prowadzenia badań i oceny stateczności układu: wysięgnik przeciwwagi – wysięgnik przenośnika załadowczego koparek łańcuchowych górnictwa odkrywkowego. Przedstawiono sposób prowadzenia badań oraz metodę oceny stateczności. Zaprezentowano uzyskane wyniki badań. Omówiono zagadnienie korekty stateczności na podstawie uzyskanych wyników badań. Stwierdzono, że dla uzyskania położenia środka ciężkości układu wysięgnik przeciwwagi – wysięgnik przenośnika zrzutowego zgodnego z położeniem dokumentacyjnym należy na przeciwwadze układu umieścić dodatkowy ciężar. Wartość ciężaru dodatkowego wynosi 34,4 kN. Wskazano na konieczność prowadzenia badań stateczności układów: wysięgnik przeciwwagi – wysięgnik przenośnika załadowczego koparek łańcuchowych.
    The reasons for testing and assessing of the counterweight boom – discharge conveyor boom system of chain excavators for open cast mining have been given. The way of conducting tests and the method for assessing stability have been showed. The obtain test results have been presented. The issue of stability correction based on obtain tests results has been discussed. It has been found that in order to obtain the center gravity position of the counterweight boom – discharge conveyor boom system in accordance with documentary position, an additional weight should be placed on the counterweight system. The value of additional weight is 34,4 kN. The necessity of testing stability of counterweight boom – discharge conveyor boom systems of chain excavators has been indicated.

Wszelkie decyzje zarówno strategiczne, jak i operacyjne powinny być podejmowane poprzez koncentrację procesu decyzyjnego na kluczowych czynnikach kształtujących wartość. W artykule zwrócono uwagę na rolę i znaczenie identyfikacji kluczowych, przedmiotowych czynników, jak i procesowego podejścia do zarządzania, co w połączeniu pozwala ukierunkować przedsiębiorstwo na wzrost jego wartości dla akcjonariuszy.
    This paper refers to the concept of value management. It assumes that the strategic long-term goal of the company is to create and maximize the wealth of the owners. The raising factors occupy an important place in the methodology of enterprise value management. The authors pay attention to the role and importance of identifying the key subject factors, as well as the process approach to management which allows to maximize the real value for shareholders.
