    Opis:
    The internal differentiation of Slavic studies (history, linguistics, literary criticism, cultural studies) loses the perspective of system integrity. The development of the humanities led to the emergence of trends aimed at a complex comprehension of Slavdom in the light of the general patterns of European civilization and the characteristics of their local refraction. In the development of such a set of problems, thinking in the categories of holism, methods of interdisciplinarity and comparative studies are especially promising.
    Внутренняя дифференциация славистики (история, языкознание, литературоведение, культурология) утрачивает перспективу системной целостности. Развитие гуманитарных наук обусловило появление направлений, нацеленных на комплексное постижение славянства в свете общих закономерностей европейской цивилизации и особенностей их локального преломления. В разработке такого комплекса проблем особенно перспективным представляется мышление в категориях холизма, методы интердисциплинарности и компаративистики.

    The diagnosis of autism within the first two years of a child’s life is burdened by many difficulties. The most significant symptoms for early recognition of ASD are deemed to be emotional and social deficits, disturbances in the development of speech and communication as well as atypical behaviour in the form of limited, repetitive behaviour patterns. In the first as well as the second year of life, the most commonly confirmed early signs of ADS refer to the lack of behaviour indicating the child’s readiness to form social relations and to social communication, including in particular its reactions to its own name, limited eye contact, atypical facial expressions in social situations, the lack of emotional adaptation, limited interest in social impulses and poor vocalisation, as well as limited abilities to imitate, establish a common field of attention and the expression of attachment to the next of kin. Inthe second year of age, the atypical behaviour is manifested more clearly and may, although it must not necessarily, shine through in all areas typical for autism.

    Opis:
    The article presents a comparative evaluation of quantitative evidence of the living conditions in the Vodlozero region in northern Russia collected in five time periods (1791, 1873, 1905, 1926, 1933) on the basis of the General Land Survey (Generalnoe Mezhevanie of Olonets Gubernia – GMOG), reintroduced into historical research practice, and a thorough examination of the lists of known settlements. Based on the information about the number of households and the dynamics of their habitability over time, as well as on the data pertaining to economic activities of the region’s inhabitants, the author shows the increase of regional potential for social and demographic development from the end of the 18th century until the first third of the 20th century, which enabled the local peasant community to survive through the political upheavals of the first quarter of the 20th century. By showing how the established traditional economic and social practices had evolved over centuries and ensured the sustainability of human and economic resources specific to the natural landscape of the Vodlozero area, the paper offers a retrospective reconstruction of the specifics of the extent of human intervention with nature, as well as social consequences of this process in the long run.
    W artykule przedstawiono ocenę porównawczą warunków bytowych w regionie Wodłoziera w pięciu przedziałach czasowych (1791, 1873, 1926, 1933), opartą o wyniki Generalnego Badania Geodezyjnego (GMOG) oraz szczegółową rewizję list istniejących osad. Na podstawie danych o liczbie gospodarstw oraz informacji odnoszących się do dynamiki przemian ich ogólnych warunków mieszkalnych i sposobów pozyskiwania zasobów życiowych przez mieszkańców Wodłoziera, ukazano długofalowe tendencje rozwoju potencjału społecznego i demograficznego regionu od końca XVIII wieku do pierwszego kwartału wieku XX. Poprzez ukazanie przemian, jakim ulegały tradycyjne praktyki społeczne i gospodarcze w długim trwaniu, możliwa była rekonstrukcja specyficznych elementów interakcji człowieka ze środowiskiem naturalnym oraz ich konsekwencje społeczne.
