    The distribution channels in the pharmaceutical industry have remained constant for several decades. However, in the course of digitalization and the new possibilities that come with it, this industry is not immune to the development of new distribution channels and to the question of whether the exist- ing ones are still up-to-date and in line with the market. This article deals exactly with this problem and weighs up the advantages and disadvantages of multi-channel retailing for the pharmaceutical industry.

    The article examines the peculiarities of proving circumstances, which are the basis for the release of a person from criminal responsibility for corruption offences in the field of service activities related to the provision of public services. Substantive and procedural legal basis for such release has been found and the peculiarities of proving circumstances which are the grounds for the release of a person from criminal responsibility on the basis of article 49 and part 5 of article 354 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine have been analysed.

    Opis:
    Enterprises using cranes, HDS platforms, other handling equipment, or pressure equipment in their activities are subject to registration with the Office of Technical Inspection (UDT), which is obliged to conduct inspection activities on them. Inspections of technical devices are aimed at checking their technical condition. Approximately 1.3 million technical devices are currently subject to UDT supervision in Poland. Annually, UDT inspectors carry out over 1 million tests of technical devices, and the activities carried out by UDT translate into a constant reduction in the accident rate. All this takes place in conditions that require continuous work planning and scheduling. This article aims to present and discuss the use of open-source solutions for planning the work of teams carrying out inspection activities, along with the concept of their use.

    Aby ocenić, jaki wpływ będą miały roboty na społeczeństwo, należy skrupulatnie przeanalizować obecny stan wiedzy, a w szczególności wskazać fundamentalne problemy, które jeszcze nie zostały rozwiązane, mające istotne znaczenie dla potencjalnych zmian społecznych powodowanych rozwojem robotyki. Wspomniany wpływ zależy od inteligencji robotów, więc ten aspekt dominuje w przedstawionej tu analizie. Rozważania zostały podzielone na trzy części: 1) analizę czynników technicznych wpływających na inteligencję i bezpieczeństwo robotów, 2) analizę obecnych możliwości robotów, 3) analizę przewidywań dotyczących rozwoju robotyki, a w konsekwencji poglądów na skutki tego rozwoju dla społeczeństwa. Niniejszy artykuł poświęcony jest drugiemu z wymienionych tu trzech zagadnień.
    In order to assess the impact of robots on society, it is necessary to carefully analyze the state-of-the-art, and in particular the fundamental issues that have yet to be resolved, however having significant impact on the potential societal changes resulting from the development of robotics. The aforementioned impact depends on the level of intelligence of robots, so this aspect dominates in the presented analysis. The presentation has been divided into three parts: 1) analysis of technical factors affecting the intelligence and security of robots, 2) analysis of current capabilities of robots, 3) analysis of diverse predictions of how robotics will evolve, and thus the attitudes towards the influence of the result of this development on society. This part of the paper is devoted to the second of the above mentioned three issues.

    The level of preparation of teachers before they enter the profession is an important factor affecting the level of culture of future generations and, consequently, the society as a whole. This preparation requires not only the proper implementation of the curriculum, but also the acquisition of self-efficacy skills. So far, the self-efficacy of pre-service teachers has been studied with respect to different variables. However, there is a lack of satisfactory comparative research among students from Poland and Slovakia, the countries of slightly different approach to preparation of pre-service teachers. To fill this gap, a comparative study of 355 Polish and 198 Slovakian university students was conducted using Tschannen-Moran and Woolfolk Hoy Teachers’ Sense of Efficacy Scale. The purpose of the research was to determine which variables, including the country (Poland, Slovakia), course, form, year of study and participation in the field experience correlate significantly with the sense of efficacy of pre-service teachers. The obtained results indicate a satisfactory consistency between the Polish and the Slovakian version of the Teachers’ Sense of Efficacy Scale. The research revealed a significantly higher self-evaluation among Polish university students and students of early childhood education. Part-time students with field experience evaluated themselves higher than full time students. The results emphasize that it is important to place high demands on future teachers and create appropriate conditions to improve their teaching and self-evaluative abilities.

    Introduction. The development of patient rights and increasing number of lawsuits based on medical malpractice make medical doctors constantly improve knowledge regarding the acceptability of changing the scope of operation. This is particularly important when patients have expressed their refusal to changing the scope and type of procedure (ESTP) or no informed consent (IC) has been obtained from the patient prior to the procedure. Method. The method of study comprised content analysis of existing legislation. The current jurisprudence and doctrine were confronted with existing regulations. An algorithm of correct formal procedures was elaborated. Results. The doctor has right to realize ESTP when the patient has not given the consent to it or the refusal expressed by him was not fully conscious. Healthcare providers are absolutely prohibited from realizing ESTP when patient objected to any changes being thoroughly informed by the physician prior to the operation. When patient refuses possible ESTP, the doctor has the right to withdraw from performing surgery but should inform the patient about other places, where a similar procedure can be provided.
