The paper aims to present the types of semantic relations which hold between the interlingual homonyms existing in the semantic field of “people’s spiritual life”. The primary type of the relations among the studied lexical units is exclusion (the presence of a religious component in the semantics of a word of one of the studied languages and the lack of such a component in the other language). Because of the significant number of the examples of this type of relation, the words were divided into three thematic groups: 1) concepts (пассия – pasja), 2) objects (арка – arka), 3) people (лектор – lektor). The relation type of inclusion (with the shared religious semantics, one of the homonyms has an additional meaning related to this area) was observed in a few pairs (катафалк – katafalk). The relation type of overlapping (with the shared religious semantics, each of the homonyms has an additional meaning) in a given lexical field was not identified. No relation of overlapping in a given lexical field and only a few cases of the inclusion relation can prove that the resources of Russian and Polish homonymous words belonging to the religious theme of the Orthodox and Catholic Churches contrast with one another in quite an unobvious way. It is conditioned by both linguistic as well as cultural factors.

Tekst omawia symboliczno-relacyjny wymiar wykluczenia przez ubóstwo. Składa się z dwóch części. Paragrafy 1–3 stanowią wprowadzenie teoretyczne: skupia się na wykluczeniu społecznym i łączącymi się z nim zjawiskami: regionalizacji, reprodukcji, konsumpcji i opuszczeniu. W paragrafie 4 opisano sposoby zapobiegania wykluczeniu społecznego spowodowanemu przez biedę. Przykład województwa warmińsko-mazurskiego pokazuje kilka działań podejmowanych, by przeciwdziałać temu problemowi – planowanie strategiczne, rozszerzenie dostępu do usług publicznych, polityka aktywacyjna czy ekonomia społeczna.
The text concerns the symbolic-relational aspect of poverty’s social exclusion. It consists of two parts. In the paragraphs 1–3 the theoretical concepts are introduced. They focus on social exclusion and its linked phenomena: space, reproduction, consumption and giving up. Paragraph 4 describes the empirical research on preventing social exclusion caused by poverty. The example of warminsko-mazurskie voivodeship provides a number of actions, which are undertake to counter this problem – strategic planning, widening the access to public service, activation policy or social economy.

The process that started with a demonstration against the regime on 15 March 2011 spurred by desire to reform Dera/Syria quickly turned into a civil war. The resulting forced immigration presented Turkey with the challenge of one of history’s largest immigration movements. Turkey adopted open door policy towards Syrians and gave them temporary protection status. Thus the Syrians were considered to be guests of Turkey until they could return to their homeland. However, internal disturbances in Syria became increasingly complex and the Syrians’ stay turned into a long-term one. As the case of Şanlıurfa city demonstrates, there are significant cultural differences between the Syrian immigrants and the indigenous people, which include clothing, traditions, customs, attitudes and behaviours. They make integration of both peoples difficult and cause a serious cultural clash between the local people and the Syrians in the city. These emerging problems inspired this research, which aims to showcase the problems of socio-cultural integration of the Syrians through a case study of Şanlıurfa city and to examine the factors underlying these problems.

This article examines social and ethnic group membership among sixth-grade students at a Czech lower secondary school whose student population is predominantly heterogeneous in terms of ethnicity. The main focus is on group membership in the sixth grade, which is considered as the worst class at school and which is attended by several Roma boys and girls. Special attention is paid to the boundary constructions in the groups of children from an anthropological perspective and interactionism. The article is based on qualitative, and ethnographic fieldwork. The central method of the fieldwork was observation. This method was partially supplemented by materials from the school evaluations and interviews with teachers and other respondents during the field research. Research findings derive from fieldwork conducted at the school that is perceived as problematic by local residents. The school is located near a socially excluded locality in the Czech Republic where a large number of the buildings are in deplorable condition, with many apartments unoccupied. Many city residents consider the locality to be a “Roma ghetto”. The article contributes to understanding the grouping and social and interethnic communication among twelve-year-old students. The article sheds light on the benefits of being in a group and how students and groups communicate with each other.

Opis:
In the article selected results of studies of groups of juvenile delinquents and of secondary school youths are discussed. A comparison of the two studied groups allows expressing conclusions and recommendations concerning the directions of rehabilitation activities towards social misfits, which should be started. In the article the significance of the quality of the family circle's functioning for proper rehabilitation of adolescents is pointed to, and negative significance of dysfunctions on the area of adolescents' relations with their parents is stressed. Also the need of constant monitoring education of the youth by psychologists is suggested, especially of those of them who violate the law. Particular directions for such analyses are shown. The article is a presentation of a fragment of broader studies concerning the discussed problem area.
