    We define the order-congruence distributivity at 0 and order- congruence n-distributivity at 0 of ordered algebras with a nullary operation 0. These notions are generalizations of congruence distributivity and congruence n-distributivity. We prove that a class of ordered algebras with a nullary operation 0 closed under taking subalgebras and direct products is order-congruence distributive at 0 iff it is order-congruence n-distributive at 0. We also characterize such classes by a Mal'tsev condition.

    Opis:
    The distributivity law for a fuzzy implication \(I\colon [0,1]^2 \to [0,1]\) with respect to a fuzzy disjunction \(S\colon [0,1]^2 \to [0,1]\) states that the functional equation \( I(x,S(y,z))=S(I(x,y),I(x,z)) \) is satisfied for all pairs \((x,y)\) from the unit square. To compare some results obtained while solving this equation in various classes of fuzzy implications, Wanda Niemyska has reduced the problem to the study of the following two functional equations: \( h(\min(xg(y),1)) = \min(h(x)+ h(xy),1)\), \(x \in (0,1)\), \(y \in (0,1]\), and \( h(xg(y)) = h(x)+ h(xy)\), \(x,y \in (0, \infty)\), in the class of increasing bijections \(h\colon [0,1] \to [0,1]\) with an increasing function \(g\colon (0,1] \to [1, \infty)\) and in the class of monotonic bijections \(h\colon (0, \infty) \to (0, \infty)\) with a function \(g\colon (0, \infty) \to (0, \infty)\), respectively. A description of solutions in more general classes of functions (including nonmeasurable ones) is presented.

    Opis:
    We deal with congruences on semilattices with section antitone involution which rise e.g., as implication reducts of Boolean algebras, MV-algebras or basic algebras and which are included among implication algebras, orthoimplication algebras etc. We characterize congruences by their kernels which coincide with semilattice filters satisfying certain natural conditions. We prove that these algebras are congruence distributive and 3-permutable.

    Let A be an analytic family of sequences of sets of integers. We show that either A is dominated or it contains a continuum of almost disjoint sequences. From this we obtain a theorem by Shelah that a Suslin c.c.c. forcing adds a Cohen real if it adds an unbounded real.

    Ring-like operations are introduced in pseudocomplemented semilattices in such a way that in the case of Boolean pseudocomplemented semilattices one obtains the corresponding Boolean ring operations. Properties of these ring-like operations are derived and a characterization of Boolean pseudocomplemented semilattices in terms of these operations is given. Finally, ideals in the ring-like structures are defined and characterized.

    The aim of this study is to apply and evaluate the usefulness of the hybrid classifier to predict the presence of serious coronary artery disease based on clinical data and 24-hour Holter ECG monitoring. Our approach relies on an ensemble classifier applying the distributivity equation aggregating base classifiers accordingly. Such a method may be helpful for physicians in the management of patients with coronary artery disease, in particular in the face of limited access to invasive diagnostic tests, i.e., coronary angiography, or in the case of contraindications to its performance. The paper includes results of experiments performed on medical data obtained from the Department of Internal Medicine, Jagiellonian University Medical College, Kraków, Poland. The data set contains clinical data, data from Holter ECG (24-hour ECG monitoring), and coronary angiography. A leave-one-out cross-validation technique is used for the performance evaluation of the classifiers on a data set using the WEKA (Waikato Environment for Knowledge Analysis) tool. We present the results of comparing our hybrid algorithm created from aggregation with the distributive equation of selected classification algorithms (multilayer perceptron network, support vector machine, k-nearest neighbors, naïve Bayes, and random forests) with themselves on raw data.

    We describe a part of the lattice of subvarieties of left distributive left idempotent groupoids (i.e. those satisfying the identities x(yz) ≈ (xy)(xz) and (xx)y ≈ xy) modulo the lattice of subvarieties of left distributive idempotent groupoids. A free groupoid in a subvariety of LDLI groupoids satisfying an identity xⁿ ≈ x decomposes as the direct product of its largest idempotent factor and a cycle. Some properties of subdirectly ireducible LDLI groupoids are found.
