The article proposes an approach to the specialized transdisciplinary system development that allows ensuring access to modern achievements in the field of education, science, and technology. Such an approach involves an information-analytical system designing for supporting the educational and research activities of the student youth using the software platform “Trans-disciplinary Educational Dialogues of Applications’ Ontology Systems” (TEDAOS). The TEDAOS software tools provide the formation of ontological models in the form of knowledge prism, that are proposed to be used to present the results of student youth activities, the results of scientific and technical researches held in fundamental and applied research institutions, as well as curriculum, educational and methodological materials. The information-analytical system being developed allow to aggregate and integrate information resources and systems, created in various formats according to different standards and technologies, by using the ontological approach to knowledge representation to support the youth educational and research activities.

Jak wskazano wcześniej, systemy uczące się, opierając się na danych uczących, dokonują generalizacji i identyfikacji reguł. Ta cecha modeli, czyniąca je możliwymi do wykorzystania na innych zbiorach danych, sprawia także, że każdy model jest niedoskonały. Ogólne reguły klasyfikacji powodują, że możliwe jest przygotowanie danych, które nieznacznie różnią się od danych oryginalnych, natomiast są odmiennie rozpoznawane przez model. Takie dane mogą być naturalnymi anomaliami, mogą także być próbkami intencjonalnie przygotowanymi, aby przeprowadzić atak na model. Atakujący prezentuje modelowi dane, które ten sklasyfikuje do innej grupy niż ta, do której rzeczywiście należą. Działanie to może mieć na celu zablokowanie pracy systemu lub wymuszenie błędnego działania systemu, w tym m.in. reakcji systemu na ściśle określone dane wejściowe zgodnie z intencjami atakującego.

In order to evaluate usefulness of wastes for utilization it is necessary to use modern chemical testing methods. The proposed analytical system of the XRD-XRF-ICP-GC methods enables to conduct an examination of carboniferous waste rocks. The offered system of chemical testing is less time consuming and much more efficient. Within a reasonably short period of time, it allows to obtain information about mineralogical and chemical properties of the carboniferous waste rocks. In the paper application of such an integrated system has been illustrated with the examples drawn from the monitoring of the carboniferous wastes rocks from the “Bogdanka” coal mine.
Proponowany system badań w zintegrowanym układzie analitycznym XRD-XRF-ICP-GC jest prostym i proekonomicznym elementem działalności w prowadzeniu monitoringu odpadów wydobywczych. Jego wykorzystanie pozwala uzyskać w krótkim czasie informacje o mineralogicznych i chemicznych właściwościach monitorowanych odpadów wydobywczych. Dotyczy to zakresu informacji obejmujących skład mineralny (XRD) i chemiczny (XRF/ICP) oraz obecności zanieczyszczeń organicznych (GC). Wykorzystanie takiego zintegrowanego systemu badań przedstawiono na przykładzie monitoringu odpadów wydobywczych z kopalin węgla kamiennego „Bogdanka”.

The present article is an attempt of placing a construct of Emotional Intelligence in the structure of a personality of a man. The Cognitive-Experiential Self-Theory of Epstein, that arranges different spheres of functioning of a man, refering them to different systems of processing information, was used as a point of reference. Emotional intelligence, understood as a set of abilities needed to process pieces of emotional information, as a multidimensional construct of different abilities fits in the action of experiential and rational systems - both marked out by Epstein. Each ability as a part of emotional intelligence belongseither to the firstor to the second system. One can come to a conclusion that like the majority of psychological processes of a man can be attributed to their level of unconsciousness, preconscious or conscious, so the emotional functioning on different levels of consciousness. The most basic, primary abilities of emotional intelligence belong to the experimental system of a direct regulation, whereas those developed later, evolving on the base of the first abilities, are used on the level of the rational system of the indirect regulation.

Opis:
The object of the study is to monitor the economic development of territories. As a result, a detailed analysis revealed the absence of a single action algorithm for diagnosing the economic development of territories. As a result of the analysis of the terminological apparatus, the essence of monitoring the economic development of territories is clarified, by which is meant the process of measuring, fixing, evaluating, con-trolling, analyzing and forecasting key characteristics based on information technologies and intended for current and strategic goals of managing the country’s territory. The paper proposes a model for the formation of an information-analytical system for monitoring the economic development of territories, based on the use of IDEF0 functional modeling and includes a specific set of stages, each of which solves a set of tasks with an indication of mechanisms and tools. The practical implementation of a functional model for the formation of an information-analytical system for monitoring the economic development of territories will effectively organize the collection of information, objectively assess the dynamics of changes in the regions, and also forecast the development of economic processes in the country.

Intelligent information and analytical basis of a modern transport system is a prerequisite for efficient functioning of the digital economy. Modern transport systems are based on new intelligent technologies and new organizational principles, which is why the functions and competences of specialists in transportation are changing very rapidly. This paper substantiates the need and reveals the content of new competencies of specialists for modern transport systems, which should be ready to take into account many different factors, process large amounts of information and solve multi-criteria tasks in transport companies for all management functions. Creation of digital analytical competency for transportation systems represents a new direction of the educational and training programs that must include courses in modern assessment and forecasting methods, big data operation, machine learning, neuron networks and other approaches in artificial intelligence area. This article describes a new approach to the teaching of transportation system analysts that is able to solve various types of tasks to implement Industry 4.0 elements in transportation as examples.

The reliability analysis of a multistate complex system subjected to varying in time its operation process is performed. A semi-Markov process is applied to construct the multistate model of the system operation process and its main characteristics are determined. Analytical linking of the system operation process model with the system multistate reliability model is proposed to get a general reliability model of the complex system operating at varying in time operation conditions and to find its reliability characteristics. The constructed integrated general model of a complex multistate system reliability, linking its reliability model and its operation process model and considering variable at different operation states its reliability structure and its components reliability parameters is applied to the reliability evaluation of an exemplary system.

The paper presents analytical and Monte Carlo simulation methods applied to the reliability evaluation of a system operating in two different operation states. A semi-Markov process is applied to construct the system operation model and its main characteristics are determined. Analytical linking of this operation model with the system reliability model is proposed to get a general reliability model of the system operating at two varying in time operation conditions and to find its reliability characteristics. The application of Monte Carlo simulation based on this general model to the reliability evaluation of this system is proposed as well. The exemplary results obtained from those two considered methods are illustrated.

The article presents a new analytical model for determining the probability of availability of a certain amount of well-defined free resources (e.g. a link) in a group of dedicated resources (e.g. a group of links) jointly serving a mixture of different classes of multiservice traffic. The presented method can be used to model access to resources in data centers, in particular in the software-defined networks, assuming – for reliability reasons – that the user should have access to a certain minimum number of specific separated resources. The proposed analytical model was verified by appropriate simulation experiments, which confirmed the satisfactory accuracy of the results obtained.

The governing equation of large amplitude simple pendulum is a nonlinear equation which is very difficult to be solved exactly and analytically. However, the classical way for finding analytical solution is obviously still very much important. This is because an exact analytical solution serves as an accurate benchmark for numerical solution and provides a better insight into the significance of various system parameters affecting the phenomena than the numerical solution. Therefore, in this present work, exact analytical solutions for nonlinear differential equation of large amplitude simple pendulum is presented. Also, with the aid of the exact analytical solutions, parametric studies are carried out to study the effects of the model parameters on the dynamic behavior of the large-amplitude nonlinear oscillation system. The solutions can serve as benchmarks for the numerical solution or approximate analytical solution.

The paper presents a cross-sectional analysis of dynamics of rotating systems with different characteristics, starting from the search for solutions in an analytical way, and ending with the numerical attempt to verify the results. There is presented a problem of bending and torsional vibrations in rotational systems, using possibly the simplest model of the phenomenon. It is a heavy disk embedded on the deformable massless shaft. The rotor is symmetric and it is assumed that stiffness can be nonlinear. The analysis of vibrations occurring in rotors is made with the use of this model. This is followed by a preliminary discussion on the problem and the conclusions of the pilot studies. There are presented basic problems related to the phenomenon of lateral-torsional coupling in rotational systems with an emphasis on critical states. Formulation of the problem is the conclusion of preliminary part of the paper. Next, there are discussed the selected methods currently used to solve such problems, together with a discussion of their application in this case. In addition, there is discussed a problem of numerical or analytical character of obtained results and the range of using methods in modelling, designing and experimental studies. The next part of the paper focuses on the solution of the model presented in the introduction, using the following analytical or numerical methods: Krylov-Bogolubov, Adams and Runge-Kutta methods. There are presented assumptions, simplifications of the model, technical details of searching for solutions and the results together with a discussion of their correctness. The results, which were obtained from analysis, are polyharmonic. Due to this fact, the spectra of each solution were presented. These aspects are discussed in the context of the solving methods and motion analysis for rotor systems. The whole paper is summarized with a discussion of the results and their confrontation with reality.

Przemysł energetyczny wymaga nowoczesnych rozwiązań diagnostycznych dla podniesienia bezpieczeństwa, sprawności i dyspoz.ycyjności elektrowni. Układy regulacji odgrywają kluczową rolę w eksploatacji poszczególnych bloków. Jakość układów regulacji jest jednym z najważniejszych czynników prowadzących do właściwego zarządzania zasobami elektrowni. Artykuł omawia problemy aplikacji identyfikacji systemów do diagnostyki elementów wykonawczych układu regulacji. Zaproponowane zostało wsparcie identyfikacji systemów przez modele analityczne oraz testy laboratoryjne. Zaprezentowany został krótki przegląd potencjalnych stanów uszkodzeń.
The power generation industry requires modern diagnostic solutions to increase safety, efficiency and availability of power plants. Control systems play vital role in particular unit operation. Quality of steam turbine control systems is one of key factors for proper management of power plant assets. The paper discuses possible applications of system identification to diagnose of control system actuator elements. Support of system identification by analytical models and laboratory tests were proposed. A brief review of potential failure modes was presented.
