This article describes the Integrated Military Information System (IMIS), which is being gradually introduced in the Ministry of National Defense. The modern IMIS system is intended to form the foundations of effective management of the Air Force logistics. At present, military units often have to carry out their tasks in a coalition or allied environment and the integrated information system is a key to ensuring a successful outcome of these activities. This author also focus on airbase tasks on the example of 42 Aviation School Airbase in Radom. The article also describes the implementation effects of IMIS on enhanced functioning of the airbase logistics in this process.

The article aims at presenting the way the perception of the essence of a contemporary operation has changed along with the changes in the international security environment and how the significance of information in combat logistics has evolved. The first part of the study comprises the synthesis of the content characterizing the international security environment and the terms defining a contemporary military operation. The subsequent, subdivided, parts contain the synthesis of materials identifying the term “information” and aim at presenting its essence and role in the contemporary combat logistics. The content focusing on the significance of information in logistics has been substantiated with numerous examples from history. The article was prepared on the basis of multifaceted analyses of professional literature as well as periodicals concentrating on both logistics support and information, which made it possible to carry out the synthesis and formulate conclusions.

W pracy przedstawione zostają podstawowe informacje dotyczące festiwalu muzycznego wraz z umiejscowieniem go w kategorii imprez masowych. Ukazane zostają również podstawowe zasady, które muszą zostać spełnione, by dane przedsięwzięcie mogło być klasyfikowane jako festiwal. Następnie autor dokonuje prezentacji i interpretacji pojęcia system wsparcia logistycznego w znaczeniu ogólnym. Identyfikuje on również znaczenie wspomnianego systemu w procesie realizacji imprezy masowej o charakterze muzycznym. W dalszej części artykułu autor prezentuje festiwal muzyczny Open’er Festival w Gdyni, wraz z krótkim przybliżeniem jego historii. Celem artykułu jest także prezentacja wyników elektronicznego badania ankietowego zrealizowanego na grupie uczestników festiwalu. Pytania i udzielone na nie przez uczestników odpowiedzi skupiają się wokół logistycznych aspektów, które były obecne podczas ubiegłych edycji wydarzenia Open’er Festival. Badanie zostało przeprowadzone a jego wyniki opracowane w całości przez autora artykułu.
The paper presents basic information about a music festival along with its placement in the category of mass events. The basic principles that must be met for an event to be classified as a festival are also shown. The author then makes a presentation and interpretation of the concept of logistical support system in a general sense. The importance of the said system in the process of realization of a mass music event is also elaborated. In the following part of the article, the author presents the Open’er Festival music festiwal in Gdynia, along with a brief overview of its history. The purpose of the article is also to present the results of a survey conducted on a group of festival participants. The questions and their answers focus on the logistical aspects of the past editions of the Open’er Festival event. The survey was conducted and its results were compiled entirely by the author of the article.

Zadania sił zbrojnych i realia gospodarki rynkowej stały się powodem zmian w organizacji systemu logistycznego Sił Zbrojnych RP. Powstały nowe ogniwa logistyki wykonawczej – wojskowe oddziały gospodarcze, których zadaniem jest zabezpieczenie funkcjonowania wojsk przebywających stale lub czasowo w ich rejonach odpowiedzialności. Celem artykułu było wskazanie możliwości wsparcia wojsk biorących udział w operacjach prowadzonych na terenie kraju przez terytorialny system zabezpieczenia logistycznego. Przeprowadzone analizy wskazują, że o powodzeniu zabezpieczenia logistycznego decyduje wiele czynników, które z jednej strony określają potrzeby (m.in. charakter i rozmiar operacji oraz ilość jej uczestników), a z drugiej wskazują możliwości (takie jak posiadany wojskowy potencjał logistyczny, wsparty infrastrukturą cywilną w rejonie operacji oraz możliwe do wykorzystania zasoby logistyczne zgromadzone przez państwo).
The tasks of the armed forces and the realities of the market economy have led to changes in the organisation of the Polish Armed Forces’ logistics systems. As a result, new executive logistic cells were formed, Military Support Units, to support the functioning of troops staying permanently or temporarily in their areas of responsibility. The aim of the article is to identify ways the territorial logistics support system can to support troops involved in domestic operations. Analyses indicate that the success of logistic support depends on many factors which, on the one hand, determine needs including the nature and size of the operation and the number of participants but, on the other, suggest such possibilities as military logistics capabilities, civilian logistics infrastructure in the area of operations and the use of national logistical resources.

Współpraca przygraniczna może być czynnikiem stymulującym sprawność i skuteczność systemu wsparcia logistycznego akcji ratowniczych w sytuacji katastrof naturalnych. Celem artykułu jest określenie, w jaki sposób istniejące podstawy formalno-oprawne regulują przygraniczną współpracę polsko-niemiecką w zakresie wsparcia logistycznego akcji ratunkowych katastrof naturalnych i czy są one wystarczające wobec obecnych potrzeb. W części teoretycznej, w oparciu o przegląd literatury, przedstawiono poziom rozwoju i kierunki badań dotyczących problematyki przygranicznej współpracy w zakresie wsparcia logistycznego akcji ratunkowych katastrof naturalnych. W części empirycznej poddano analizie dokumenty stanowiące ramy formalno-prawne dla przygranicznej współpracy polsko-niemieckiej w zakresie wsparcia logistycznego akcji ratunkowych katastrof naturalnych. Na podstawie analizy materiału empirycznego określono, w jaki sposób jest uregulowana przygraniczna współpraca polsko-niemiecka w zakresie wsparcia logistycznego akcji ratunkowych katastrof naturalnych, jakie działania mieszczą się w pojęciu wsparcia logistycznego oraz jakie są określone narzędzia. Na podstawie odpowiedzi na wymienione pytania przedstawiono rekomendacje w zakresie możliwości i potrzeb uzupełnienia wspomnianych luk formalno-prawnych.
Cross-border cooperation can be a factor in stimulating the efficiency and effectiveness of the logistical support system for rescue operations in case of natural disasters. The aim of the article is to determine how existing formal and legal basics are regulating Polish-German cross-border cooperation in the field of logistic support for rescue operations in natural disasters and whether they are adequate to the current needs. In the theoretical part, based on a review of literature, has been presented a level of development and research directions regarding to cross-border cooperation in the field of logistic support for rescue operations in natural disasters. In the empirical part was analysed the documents constituting the formal and legal framework for Polish-German cross-border cooperation in the field of logistic support for rescue operations in natural disasters. Based on the analysis of empirical material was determined, how Polish-German cross-border cooperation is regulated in the field of logistic support for rescue operations in natural disasters, what activities are included in the concept of logistics support, and what are the specific tools. It has been presented recommendations based on the answers to these questions.

W artykule przedstawiony został zarys technologii informatycznch, które stosowane są z powodzeniem we wspomaganiu logistyki. Omówiony został system automatycznej identyfikacji i przetwarzania danych AIDC. Wykorzystywany jest do automatycznego śledzenia oraz gromadzenia danych przy pomocy wielu technologii informatycznych, a przy pomocy Internet of Things odbywa się komunikacja w ramach istniejącej infrastruktury bądź Internetu. Bardziej szczegółowo pokazana została technologia RFID która poprzez sieć radiową oraz tagi automatycznie identyfikuje obiekty i wynajduje je w bazie danych systemu komputerowego.
The draft of information technologies used to support logistics has been presented in the below article. The AIDC system for automatic identification and data computing has been described. It’s used for automatic tracking and storing date with the help of multiple information technologies and with the help of The Internet of Things there is a communication set up using existing infrastructure or internet. The RFID technology has been showed up more in detail. It’s identifying automatically objects through radio network and electronic tags and finding it in computer system’s database.

The armed forces of Poland are one of the pillars of the security of the country. Currently, as a member of both NATO and the European Union, Poland might be required to engage soldiers in defending against military threats, or they may be involved in non-military activities for the benefit of the country and its allies. The primary role of the armed forces is to perform tasks to maintain security, but they also help in preventing situations which can be considered as dangerous both in a country and outside its territory, all in accordance with the strategy of the NorthAtlantic Pact. The development of civilization, technical progress, as well as the progressive globalization of the contemporary world necessitate the introduction of changes to match the scale and nature of threats. The aim of the article is to analyse the participation of Polish Armed Forces in NATO and in the European Union in crisis situations and to suggest improvements to this system in terms of the use of the armed forces. Each of the member states bears the responsibility for providing full logistics support for their armed forces, as well as for compatibility in both international and NATO-led operations.
Siły zbrojne Polski to jeden z filarów bezpieczeństwa kraju. Obecnie Polska jako państwo członkowskie zarówno NATO, jak i Unii Europejskiej, może być zobowiązana do zaangażowania żołnierzy w obronie przeciwko zagrożeniom militarnym, do czego są powołani, a także mogą być pomocni w działaniach niemilitarnych dla dobra kraju i jego sojuszników. Głównym zadaniem sił zbrojnych jest utrzymanie bezpieczeństwa, ale również wsparcie w zapobieganiu sytuacjom, które mogą być uznane za niebezpieczne, zarówno w kraju, jak i poza jej terytorium, zgodnie ze strategią Paktu Północnoatlantyckiego. Rozwój cywilizacji, postęp techniczny, a także postępująca globalizacja współczesnego świata zmusza do dokonywania zmian dopasowanych do skali i charakteru zagrożeń. Celem artykułu jest analiza udziału Sił Zbrojnych RP w NATO oraz w całym systemie Unii Europejskiej w sytuacjach kryzysowych i próba poprawy tego systemu w zakresie wykorzystania sił zbrojnych i ich logistyki. Każde z państw członkowskich z zasady ponosi odpowiedzialność za zapewnienie pełnej logistyki dla swych sił zbrojnych, a także za kompatybilność podczas międzynarodowej działalności oraz podczas wspólnych operacji NATO.

During the previous two decades liner carriers within maritime shipping have broken the barriers from being pure transportation providers towards being logistics service providers. Most of the top 20 liner carriers worldwide hale set up spin-offs providing services from local booking up to 3rd party logistics services, combining the business advantages of tight linkages with liners together with the negotiation freedom with demanding customers by providing an extension of service coverage. Economical evaluations of transocean routes and global networks are of interest for decision makers responsible for business strategies as well as for operations. It is crucial to achieve appropriate judgements about which liner routes are profitable and how to build better service networks so that the companies' brand could be attractive to, e.g., ship- pers, including exporters, importers and forwarding agents. In this paper we discuss the corresponding trade-offs as well as related decision support systems of relevant service providers and companies.

Celem artykułu jest zidentyfikowanie obszarów wsparcia logistycznego oraz barier występujących w działalności gastronomii mobilnej mających wpływ na zakres realizowanego wsparcia logistycznego. Cel pracy Autorzy realizują wykorzystując podejście mnogie jednorodne, w oparciu o: obserwację bezpośrednią, analizę tekstu dokumentów aktualnych, pogłębione swobodne wywiady ukierunkowane.
Gastronomy is currently one of the most popular and still dynamically developing branches of business, not only in terms of new techniques or culinary styles, but also new types of business models. Areas of food trucks activity that may be covered by logistic support can be considered as strategic challenges for its functioning. Each disruption of logistic processes in this area results in reduced chances for business success and achieving a competitive advantage. The aim of the article is to identify areas of logistical support and barriers in the food trucks business that have an impact on the scope of logistic support. The aim of the work is to implement the Authors using a homogeneous multiple approach, based on: direct observation, analysis of the text of current documents, deepened free targeted interviews.

The article features the possibilities of the WLSS system for wireless support of underground transport logistics. The system was developed by the Institute of Innovative Technologies EMAG. The authors presented the structure and basic functions of the system, along with its practical implementation. Additionally, the role of the system for the mining supervisor and the perspectives of the system were described.

Opis:
The main focus of this paper is the capabilities of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles as a military logistic support in conflicts areas. The conducted research addresses the problems of traditional military delivery methods. Next, the problem of using UAVs only for civilian purposes is considered. The paper begins with short elucidation of logistic support and further provides the classification of logistic materials and discusses five categories of military equipment from the logistics point of view. Next, the paper discusses the characteristics of the parameters and properties of the chosen existing UAVs that are used for the delivery of materials. Consequently, a comparison of the UAVs is carried out, and new technologies for logistic transport are presented. This paper is concluded with the claim that it is necessary to modernize the process of logistic support in the military.

Opis:
To the modern philosophy of logistic processes improvement belongs concept of Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) that was mostly developed in aircraft industry and other branches of production, and also at exploitation of Complicated Technical Systems (CTS). ILS originates from Computer Aided Acquisition and Logistic Support (CALS) initiative and it has importance of continual acquisition and products life cycle (LC) support in the present time. The main tool of ILS is Logistic Support Analysis (LSA). LSA utilizes synergetic effect of technical disciplines that use uniform special data base (DB LSA), with aim to shorten duration of technological processes, starting from research, continuing to project proposal, production, up to maintenance and complex Life Cycle Support (LCS) of CTS. In the aircraft engineering it enables to project and plan production and logistic support in real time, higher competitiveness, reengineering of company processes at research, production and working of high-tech products. Control and establishment of flexible global logistic networks, with their huge communication and coordination needs, makes assumptions of their future intensive development.
