Celem pracy jest ocena zastosowanego wypełnienia na zdolność pochłaniania energii przez kompozytowy element konstrukcji cienkościennej obciążonej dynamicznie. Elementy energochłonne wykonano w KMiIS. Badania przeprowadzono na maszynie wytrzymałościowej Intron. Badaniom poddano elementy energochłonne w postaci tulejek z dodatkowym wypełnieniem pianowym. Obciążenie realizowano poprzez osiowe wymuszenie kinematyczne.
The opinion of applied fulfilment is on ability the aim of work the absorption through composite milt of thin-walled construction die energy weighted down dynamically. Energy-consumimg units were executed in KMiIS. It investigations were conducted was on stamina machine engine Intron. The investigations were subjected in figure of muffs the energy-consuming units from additional foam fulfilment. Weight was realized by axial input function kinematic.

The aim of this paper is to present the case of a 62-year-old man with a sphenoid sinus cyst with skull base destruction. He was admitted to hospital with severe headache, visual disturbance, left ear conductive hearing loss, and loss of weight. The complaints had been increasing over the last two years. The diagnosis of the sphenoid sinus cyst with the sella turcica destruction was established two years ago but the patient refused treatment. On admission, the CT revealed a pathological mass in the left sphenoid sinus (density of 48 HU, size of 33x25x25 mm), causing extensive destruction of its left and upper walls with penetration into the skull. MRI confirmed the presence of a 28x24-mm cyst which was adjacent to the bottom of the sella and did not penetrate to the brain. In addition, the studies revealed chronic sinusitis with polyps. The patient was treated by endoscopic sinus surgery under navigation system. Wide marsupialization of the frontal wall of the sphenoid sinus cyst and removal of the polypoid changes were carried out. Pain subsided after surgery. A control MRI revealed thickening of the mucous membranes of the ethmoid, sphenoid, and maxillary sinuses, and the left mastoid cells. Moreover, no evidence of invagination of the meninges within the operated area was stated.

Opis:
Destruction processes are hardly identified with regard to farms being peculiar economic entities. The purpose of this paper is an attempt of differentiation between the following terms: divestments and the economic fall of farms. A theoretical analysis was illustrated with mass statistics data showing the scale on which farms in Poland discontinued farming activities and the results of quality research conducted among 50 landowners from the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. The analyses presented here allowed to more fully describe the concept of a divestment stressing scope and durability of destructive changes that have been occurring and their planned and intentional nature.
Procesy destrukcji są słabo rozpoznane w odniesieniu do specyficznych podmiotów gospodarczych, jakimi są gospodarstwa rolnicze. Celem opracowania była próba terminologicznego rozgraniczenia między pojęciami: dywestycje oraz upadek ekonomiczny gospodarstw rolniczych. Rozważania teoretyczne zilustrowano danymi statystyki masowej pokazującymi skalę rezygnacji gospodarstw rolniczych w Polsce z działalności rolniczej oraz wynikami badań jakościowych przeprowadzonych wśród 50 właścicieli ziemi z województwa podkarpackiego. Prezentowane rozważania pozwoliły doprecyzować pojęcie dywestycji, podkreślając zakres i trwałość dokonywanych zmian destrukcyjnych oraz ich planowy i celowy charakter.

Anyone who works with the youth knows that the period of adolescence is a specific life-phase for young students. “Socio-cultural changes, changing family patterns, too many incentives and the social pressure in many areas of human’s life” (p. 252) can cause problems, and teenagers often don’t deal appropriately with their feelings, emotions, and expressions. Also during this time, we have come to expect different and often rebellious, as well as undesirable behaviour from the young boys and girls. Every teacher, educator or someone who takes care of such young people, is inclined to support them effectively and when the functional disorders start to appear, they want to react positively towards them and work together to solve their problems. For those people, I would highly recommend the book “Self-destruction children and youth” written by Beata Ziółkowska and Jowita Wycisk.

In the paper, a method of prediction of the shape of a field of fire of a bar warhead of an antiaircraft missile has been presented. The method is based on Gurney formula for predicting velocity of a shell launched by detonation products of an explosive and an assumed form of function describing time dependence of the velocity of shell elements. Numerical integration of equations of trajectory of individual elements of bars provides bar positions in consecutive moments of time. Exemplary results of calculations have been presented.
W pracy przedstawiono metodę przybliżonego oszacowania kształtu statycznej strefy rażenia prętowej głowicy przeciwlotniczego pocisku rakietowego. Metoda oparta jest na wzorach Gurneya dla oceny prędkości miotania powłoki pocisku produktami detonacji materiału wybuchowego oraz na założonej postaci zależności prędkości elementu powłoki od czasu. Numeryczne całkowanie równań trajektorii poszczególnych elementów prętów pozwala określić położenie prętów w kolejnych momentach czasu. Przedstawiono wyniki przykładowych obliczeń.

W pracy wykazano, że ukierunkowana cykliczna obróbka termiczna w przedziale od kriogenicznych do wysokich temperatur pozwala w sposób zauważalny zmienić strukturę i mechanizm zniszczenia poliamidowych kompozytów z dodatkiem nanocząstek i nanorurek węglowych.
It is exhibited, that directed thermocycling from cryogenic temperature up to heats allows to change noticeably structure and the mechanism of destruction of polyamide composites, filled with carbon nanoparticles and nanotubes.

The development of Pachoras, an important town in mid-5th century AD Nobadia, was broken violently by a flood at the beginning of the second half of the 6th century. The settlement and enclosure were devastated and abandoned until the close of the 6th century when the Cathedral of Aetios was built on a 5-m-high dune, engulfing the interior of the enclosure.

The purpose of the article/hypothesis. This article aims to introduce the concept of creative destruction in relation to transformative solutions in finance based on the example of FinTech and innovative technologies with special emphasis on blockchain and cloud computing. As a means to reach its objective this paper analyzes in depth the concept of creative destruction originated by Schumpeter in 1940s and translates it to modern business financial environment to present the reader with double-sided effects of introduced changes, their unique and unprecedented character both from the perspective of FinTech and traditional financials intermediares. Methodology. In order to research the effects of innovations on the financial markets the critical study of the foreign literature will be conducted. Results of the research. The conducted considerations displayed a parallel between innovations introduced by FinTech and actions undertaken by traditional financial institutions in order to remain strong players on the financial market. Even though solutions provided by start-ups may debilitate gained trust, which is one of the fundamental cores of finance, and raise questions related to breach of established regulations, they support the market with increased efficiency and variability of products and services. However, it can be easily perceived that advantages of introduced solutions outweigh possible dangers, and financial intermediaries, especially banks, decide to operate on the basis of the engagament model that supposes a synergy with start-up to blend favourable aspects of both of them including banks’ well-established repute and trust along with FinTech’s innovative potential.

The article presents the results of research concerning electromagnetic (EM) field emitted by rocks during the process of their destruction. The paper describes a measuring stand designed for subjecting rock samples to axial crushing. During the destruction of rock samples, both components of the electromagnetic field emitted by the rock were recorded. The paper presents the results of research on hard coal samples, presenting the obtained time domain waveforms and frequency spectrum of the emitted EM field components. Further potential uses of tests concerned with EM emitted by rocks are determined. Applications registering EM field in mine environments may provide an early mine collapse warnings.
