Opis:
A recently developed successful approach to achieve the balance of properties involves the copolymerization of film forming monomers like acrylates and methacrylates. The copolymerization of acrylate based monomer having different alkyl group offers the opportunity to study the effect of the alkyl substituents on the polymer properties. The objective is to study their copolymerization behavior with acrylate or combination of acrylates of varying chemical nature using free radical initiator and to correlate the composition of the copolymers with their physical properties suitable for its use as coating on hard surfaces.

Opis:
An integrated study based on calcareous nannofossils, organic-walled dinoflagellate cysts, and ammonites from the Washtawa and Kanthkot formations of the Wagad Uplift have allowed a detailed documentation of the stratigraphic position of these formations within the Oxfordian and Kimmeridgian sediments of the Kachchh Basin, western India. The nannofossil assemblages from the lower part of the Nara Shale Member exposed in the Nara and Washtawa domes, the Kanthkot Ammonite Beds along the Trambau River section, and the Patasar Shale Member exposed along the Trambau River section and the Patasar Tank section in the eastern part of the Wagad Uplift belong to the NJ 14 Cyclagelosphaera margerelli Zone of the Early Oxfordian, the NJ 15a Lotharingius sigillatus Zone of the Middle Oxfordian, and the NJ 15b Cretarhabdus conicus of Early Kimmeridgian age, respectively. Zonation schemes, based on calcareous nannofossils, dinoflagellate cysts, and ammonites were calibrated highlighting their biostratigraphic potential. These studies may represent a reference biochronology for Oxfordian–Kimmeridgian age strata applicable to the Tethyan realm of which India was a part during Late Jurassic times.

Opis:
Despite the wide adoption of Internet of things (IoT) with several webs standards and cloud technologies, building of city wide IoT based smart city platform for solving transportation problem remains a daunting task. Owing to the dynamic nature of IoT and components of transportation systems, smart city architecture would require development of a scalable, distributed and evolving architecture on the web. With the advancement in autonomous transportation system there is a need for in adaptive telematic system for communicating with other vehicles, sensor nodes etc. As transport, services have special requirements of which are related to the size and type of information to be exchanged between vehicles (vehicle-to-vehicle communication) and the control centre. . By the time the data makes its way to the cloud for analysis, the opportunity to act on it might be gone. Thus handling such huge streams of data on the fly is a daunting task. In the study we present an interoperable swarm, logic based mobile terminals running multimedia micro services based telematic system.

Opis:
The ability to analyse the traffic and urban mobility pattern with the help of video analytics, which occur in massive volumes of surveillance video will lead us to provide a knowledge based for the urban planners and policy makers to come up with better construction planning. This will soothe the needs of urban commuters and thereby saving unnecessary spillage of money on the construction projects. In this research project, we present an artificial intelligence framework for transport video analytic; which autonomously models behavioural patterns of commuters and flow of traffic, wherein it taxonomically classifies essential patterns based on geometrical feature points of interest to facilitate reality mining. This behavioural pattern of commuter and traffic flow can later be queried and fetched through the newly mathematically programmed ontological data warehousing module, where such reality mined contextual data could be used for sharing essential data.

Opis:
The broad biocontrol properties of myxobacteria (mainly members of the genera Corallococcus and Myxococcus) isolated from forest soils against main fungal pathogens of pine seedlings were estimated. Among the myxobacterial strains studied (in vivo tests), the strongest antagonism towards fungi was noticed for the strains of the species Myxococcus virescens Thaxter and Corallococcus exiguus Reichenbach. They inhibited the fungal growth within the range 38–63%. The strongest inhibitory reaction towards Cylindrocarpon destructans (Zinssm.) Scholten was observed. A predominating part of myxobacteria (22 from among 30) inhibited the growth of Rhizoctonia solani Kühn. Myxobacteria suppressed any pathogenic action of Rhizoctonia solani (strain 411) towards Scots pine seedlings (in vitro tests). They produced extracellular (but not intracellular) acidic and neutral proteinases. None of the myxobacterial strain under examination produced chitinases. The 57% of the myxobacterial strains studied produced siderophores. The numbers of myxobacterial strains, obtained from under forest trees were in the following order: Betula pendula Roth. > Pinus sylvestris L. > Alnus glutinosa Gaertn. = Quercus robur L. The results gained in present work have proved potential use of myxobacteria as biocontrol agents against Rhizoctonia solani, common fungal pathogen of pine seedlings.

Opis:
Mucoceles are the most common soft tissue lesions seen in the oral cavity. They usually occur due to injury to the minor salivary glands. Spontaneous regression of mucocele can happen if its superficial or else surgical excision is recommended. Herein we report a case of oral mucocele of lower labial mucosa.
