    Opis:
    In the article are the toponyms relating to the activities of priests whose traces can be read off the geographical names both Polish and German evolved over the centuries. The material is in Białogard poviat (Zachodniopomorskie voivodeship) in the present administrative borders (after the reform in 1999). Are the names of the cultural, which respond to specific priests; memorial toponyms, which probably refer to the specific situation of the priests and the related, but not as we know them by name; numerically largest group are the name possessive (property object containing) a definition of clerics.

    W artykule przedstawiono nazwy odnoszące się do kilkudziesięciu miejsc na Pomorzu Zachodnim: miejscowości, ich części, obiektów terenowych lądowych i wodnych. Toponimy te pokazują, że dla byłych i obecnych mieszkańców Pomorza kwestie związane z postaciami i miejscami opisanymi w Biblii to składnik codziennego życia. Fakt, że wiele nazw miejscowych, a zwłaszcza terenowych ma proweniencję biblijną, świadczy o tym, że wiara i praktyki z tym związane odciskały swe piętno także na innych sferach życia, które nawzajem się przenikały.
    The article presents the names of several dozen of places in Western Pomerania, villages or towns, their parts, and land and water toponyms; they all indicate that the questions connected with characters and places described in the Bible are part of their everyday life for the former and present inhabitants of Western Pomerania. The fact that many toponyms are of biblical origin proves that faith and religious practice have set their stamp on other spheres of life, which intermingled mutually.

    Opis:
    Breath analysis has attracted human beings for centuries. It was one of the simplest methods to detect various diseases by using human smell sense only. Advances in technology enable to use more reliable and standardized methods, based on different gas sensing systems. Breath analysis requires the detection of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) of the concentrations below individual ppm (parts per million). Therefore, advanced detection methods have been proposed. Some of these methods use expensive and bulky equipment (e.g. optical sensors, mass spectrometry - MS), and require time-consuming analysis. Less accurate, but much cheaper, are resistive gas sensors. These sensors use porous materials and adsorption-desorption processes, determining their physical parameters. We consider the problems of applying resistive gas sensors to breath analysis. Recent advances were underlined, showing that these economical gas sensor scan be efficiently employed to analyse breath samples. General problems of applying resistive gas sensors are considered and illustrated with examples, predominantly related to commercial sensors and their long-term performance. A setup for collection of breath samples is considered and presented to point out the crucial parts and problematic issues.
