    Opis:
    The author of the sketch reads the Diary as a work behind the origin of which there is a sense of disappearance of life in the passing time, typical for Mieczysław Jastrun. In the context, the diary – filled, among others, with a register of small, everyday activities – seems to be a record through which Jastrun attempts to defy the nothingness and preserve his individual existence. The recording of everyday life is, however, not enough to fulfill this task on its own. Formulating remarks on Jastrun’s attempts to record his own existence and consciousness, the author references a text by Georges Gusdorf, in which the French philosopher discusses the goals and assumptions of autobiography, such as: creation of a coherent outline of one’s fortunes, interpretation and understanding of events and experiences of life, discovery of the truth of one’s own personality. Smuga światła [Streak of Light] is surely such a record. The uniqueness of individual consciousness is, however, expressed most fully in Jastrun’s metaphorical images, found not  only in his poetry but also in the Diary and the Streak of Light. The author of the sketch, referencing and juxtaposing specific fragments of Jastrun’s poems, autobiography and diary, reads the meanings and connotations of one of these images – a beautiful woman entering a house – simultaneously showing the coherence of the subject’s  imagination and sensitivity. Tracking of these distinctive images in the poet’s works and decyphering of their meanings resembles exploration of a “self” having a specific identity included in the texts. These images encompass an interpretation of the subject’s existence, express its distinctive metaphysical convictions, whereas their repeatability and permanency constitute the subject’s identity, preserving its existence in the volatile time.

    W artykule podejmuję zagadnienie statusu obcości w Notatkach z Dziennika Witolda Gombrowicza, publikowanych w paryskim miesięczniku „Kultura” (1951-1952). Obcość, inność to jeden z podstawowych tematów autoanaliz Gombrowicza podejmowanych zarówno w debiutanckim Pamiętniku z okresu dojrzewania (Bakakai 1933), jak i w ostatniej powieści Kosmos (1965). W moim tekście rekonstruuję to pojęcie z konstruktywistycznej perspektywy etnometodologii, starając się dookreślić podstawowe znaczenie obcości, jakie występuje we wczesnych Notatkach z Dziennika 1951-1952. Zasadniczo rekonstruuję obcość jako narzucaną czytelnikowi strategię pisarza zbudowania sobie nowej emigracyjnej publiczności. Z tego powodu w mniejszym stopniu interesuje mnie egzystencjalny wymiar obcości, inności etc. W zakończeniu artykułu przytaczam kilka uwag na temat sfery publicznej w ujęciu Helmutha Plessnera.
    The paper addresses the status of the strangeness in Witold Gombrowicz’s Diary Notes published in the monthly journal “Kultura” in Paris, in 1951-1952. The problem of strangeness and otherness is one of the fundamental topics of Gombrowicz’s self-analyses. The issue was taken up both in the author’s first short story collection Memoirs from puberty (Bacacay, 1933) and in his final novel (Cosmos, 1965). The present paper is an attempt at reconstructing the concept of strangeness from the constructivist perspective of ethnomethodology, with a focus on pinpointing the basic meaning of strangeness found in Gombrowicz’s early Diary Notes 1951-1952. Essentially, I reconstruct strangeness as a strategy imposed by the author on the reader with a view to creating a new emigré audience. For this reason, the existential dimension of strangeness and otherness is not in the immediate focus of attention in the presented analysis. The concluding section presents selected remarks about the public sphere on Helmuth Plessner`s framework.

    Im Jahre 1914 schrieb Rilke unter dem Einfluss der von Lotte Pritzel gemachten Wachspuppen seinen Puppenessay. In dem Artikel wird kurz das Werk von Lotte Pritzel und Rilkes Begegnung mit Pritzels Puppen geschildert. Abschließend wird die Struktur des Textes analysiert und seine essayistischen Merkmale hervorgehoben.
    1914 Rilke wrote his Puppen-Aufsatz that was inspired by Lotte Pritzel’s wax dolls. In the article there are presented the works of Lotte Pritzel and Rilke’s encounter with them. At the end, the structure of the text is analysed and his essayistic features are commented.

    Artykuł jest analizą bieżącej edycji diariusza Heleny Modrzejewskiej, który został opatrzony komentarzami dotyczącymi samej jego treści: opisywanych przez Modrzejewską wydarzeń pierwszych sześciu tygodni 1893 roku, pojawiających się w nich postaci, ich relacji z aktorką, przedstawień i sztuk teatralnych, jak również wydawniczych losów Dziennika. Noty towarzyszące tekstowi sytuują go w kontekście nie tylko kolejnych edycji, ale również spisanych po latach pamiętników Modrzejewskiej, do których aktorka celowo nie włączyła diariusza. Publikacja jest pierwszą edycją genetyczną, kładącą szczególny nacisk na proces powstawania rękopisu, nanoszone na niego korekty tak przez samą autorkę, jak i późniejszych edytorów, oraz zmiany dokonywane przez wydawców.
    The paper analyses the current edition of Helena Modrzejewska's diary which is annotated with regard to its content: the events of the first six weeks of 1893, people described by Modrzejewska and their relationship with the actress, performances and theatrical plays, as well as the publishing history of the diary. The accompanying notes help situate it in the context of the subsequent editions, but also Modrzejewska's memoirs written after many years. The current publication is the first genetic edition that places a special emphasis on the process of editing the manuscript: corrections made by the author herself, as well as the editors, and also the changes introduced later by the publishers.

The author of the paper attempts to describe and emphasize the innovativeness of Vodolazkin’s approach, as compared with the main classic features interpreted in the light of Elena Bogdanova’s article entitled ‘Language features of the diary genre’ (2008) which brings a classification thereof.
    Целью настоящей статьи является представление творчества современного и самого популярного русского писателя Евгения Германовича Водолазкина в романе Авиатор, написанном в форме дневника. В статье представлен новаторский подход автора к жанру дневника, который сопоставлен с классической классификацией Елены Богдановой в ее научной статье Языковые особенности жанра дневника (2008).

    W artykule podjęto próbę analizy blogów literackich i strategii pisarskich blogera w odniesieniu do dziennika osobistego na przykładzie blogosfery francuskiej. Blog literacki jest szczególną odmianą dziennika osobistego, w którym autor bardziej niż na własnych przeżyciach skupia się na świecie zewnętrznym, a nawet na jego pewnym wycinku: zapiskach z lektur i z życia literackiego swojej epoki. Wątki osobiste, okruchy życia prywatnego mają charakter marginalny, stają się częścią szerszej narracji, w której centralne miejsce zajmuje książka. Badaczka wykorzystuje ten materiał, by pokazać, jakie postawy krytyka i pisarza wyłaniają się z narracji o książkach.
    This article analyses the similarities between literary blogs and personal diaries. A literary blog is a specific kind of personal diary in which the author focuses less on personal experience and instead on the outside world, or rather on a particular part of it: notes made on what he or she had read and on the literary life of his or her era. Personal motifs and elements from the author’s private life are marginal as they become part of a broader narrative in which books become central. The boundary between the personal and the public becomes highly fluid. This article shows how the interpenetration of the intime and extime worlds influences the definition of the literary blog as a genre.

    Sporządzanie zapisków terenowych pozostaje integralną częścią obserwacji uczestniczącej, która polega na tym, że badacz uzyskuje wgląd w konkretne sytuacje społeczne i zjawiska kulturowe. Procedura notowania z pozoru wydaje się prosta, jednak w istocie jest to złożony proces, uwarunkowany przez rozmaite okoliczności oraz mający swe korelaty cielesne i materialne. Dlatego warto zdawać sobie sprawę nie tylko z tego, co badacz zapisuje, ale także, że w ogóle zapisuje oraz – nade wszystko – jak to robi. Kwestie te należy zaś analizować w sposób zindywidualizowany i zlokalizowany, zorientowany na działania konkretnego badacza w konkretnym terenie. W artykule podejmuję refleksję nad praktycznymi aspektami tworzenia notatek terenowych na przykładzie własnych badań nad autyzmem.
    Writing field notes is a vital part of participant observation necessary to gain insight into specific social situations and cultural phenomena. The procedure of data recording seems deceptively straightforward, but is indeed a complex process conditioned by various circumstances, which have their own specific materiality and corporeality. Therefore, it is worth perceiving not only what a researcher writes, but also that he/she writes, and above all – how he/she writes. This in turn should be analysed as individual and localised practice, associated with a particular researcher and a particular field. In the paper I pay attention to the practical aspects of note-taking on an example of my own research on autism.

    Private notes of Karol Wojtyła – John Paul II just on the moment of death of their author excited big interest between the people. The pope wrote in the testament, his secretary Msgr. Dziwisz has to fire all the documents, he left. Card. Stanisław Dziwisz didn’t accomplish the will of pope, because he was convinced, it is very important document, showing the interior life of John Paul II. Recently, the Publishing House Znak printed this Private notes (Krakow 2014) giving to the publicity to know the spiritual life of Karol Wojtyła – John Paul II. The Private notes are some kind of “diary of the soul” showing deeper life with God of Karol Wojtyła as bishop of Krakow, cardinal and pope. They are giving the possibility to enter in the mystery of the soul of John Paul II, to know his life of prayer, meditation and his relation to God and to Blessed Virgin Mary.
    Notatki osobiste Karola Wojtyły – Jana Pawła II już w momencie śmierci wzbudziły duże zainteresowanie. Papież napisał w testamencie, że jego sekretarz prałat Dziwisz powinien spalić wszystkie dokumenty, które zostawił. Kard. Stanisław Dziwisz nie wypełnił woli papieża, ponieważ był przekonany, że jest to zbyt ważny dokument pokazujący życie wewnętrzne Jana Pawła II. Wydawnictwo Znak opublikowało Notatki osobiste (Kraków 2014), dając możliwość poznania życia duchowego Karola Wojtyły – Jana Pawła II. Notatki osobiste są pewnego rodzaju „dziennikiem duszy”, który odsłania głębsze życie z Bogiem Karola Wojtyły jako biskupa krakowskiego, kardynała i papieża. Notatki pozwalają wniknąć w tajemnicę duszy Jana Pawła II, poznać jego życie modlitwy, medytację i relację z Bogiem i Matką Bożą.

    In recent years there has been a rise in interest in documentary works based on personal memories of participants and witnesses of different events. A book of the blockade by Ales Adamovich and Daniil Granin is based on the recollections and diaries of Leningrad residents who survived the blockade. It carries great emotional, philosophical and moral weight, and gives an understanding to what the residents of the city believed in and hoped for. Using the materials of A book of the blockade the author of the article aims to analyze how documents and the writers’ side notes affect a reader, and pinpoint the ways of presenting the notion of hope in the authentic diaries of Leningrad residents. As a result of the analysis of the mentioned text, the author reaches a conclusion that in the diaries the feeling and the emotion of hope is continuously updated in the course of creation of personal diaries by Leningrad residents. The concept of hope reflected on in A book of the blockade has a complex content, which can be associated with the triune concept of faith-hope-love. In the discourse of the authors, the concept preserves its Christian meaning – the spiritual salvation of a person. Yet its specifics is that the religious component is initially missing, and is subsequently gained through considerable changes that happen within and without those whose testimonies are collected in the book, and within and without the authors of the text, Adamovich and Granin.

    Celem niniejszego artykułu jest omówienie wątków onirycznych w Dzienniku 1957-1958 Gustawa Herlinga-Grudzińskiego. Opisy snów ujawniają tę część duchowej biografii pisarza, która dochodzi do głosu z podświadomości. Sen odgrywa ważną rolę w ukazaniu najgłębszych przeżyć i stanów psychicznych podmiotu mówiącego. Zapisy snów ujawniają więcej, niż autor relacjonuje o sobie bezpośrednio. Pomagają zinterpretować ukryte emocje podmiotu, jego stan ducha, ujawniają stłumione treści psychiczne, będące wynikiem bolesnych osobistych doświadczeń. Dotyczą najistotniejszych dla pisarza tematów, takich jak twórczość artystyczna (natchnienie i proces powstawania dzieła)  oraz  miłość do pierwszej żony Krystyny.
    The purpose of this article is to discuss dreamlike themes of Gustaw Herling‑Grudziński’s Diary 1957–1958. The dream descriptions reveal the part of the writer’s spiritual biography that comes to the fore from the subconscious. Sleep plays an important role in showing the deepest emotions and mental states of the speaking subject. The dream records reveal more than the author tells about himself directly. They help to interpret the subject’s hidden emotions, his state of mind, reveal repressed psychological contents, a result of painful personal experiences. They relate to the most important topics for the writer, such as artistic creativity (inspiration and the process of creating a work) and love to Krystyna, his first wife.
