    Die Untersuchung zeigt beispielhaft an dem Drama Herakles 5, welche dramaturgischen Strategien Heiner Müller im Umfeld der normativen und restriktiven Vorgaben der SED-Kulturpolitik einsetzt. Letztere werden weder missachtet noch befolgt, sondern zitiert. Müllers spezifische Zitatpraxis leitet dabei gezielt Polyvalenzen und Ambiguitäten in den Text ein und bewirkt so eine semantische Überflutung, die das Ideal eines positiven sozialistischen Arbeiterhelden erodiert. Herakles 5 zitiert darüber hinaus nicht nur die gesellschaftlichen Diskurse einer größeren Öffentlichkeit seines Entstehungsumfeldes, sondern auch Spezialdiskurse zu Theaterprogrammen und -spielweisen, wie zum Beispiel Brechts Durchrationalisierung des Mythos, und verweist damit auf sich selbst als Theater.
    Na przykładzie dramatu Herakles 5 ukazano strategie dramaturgiczne Heinera Müllera w zakresie normatywnych oraz restryktywnych dyrektyw polityki kulturalnej SED. Dyrektyw tych się ani nie lekceważy ani przestrzega, je się cytuje. Charakterystyczna dla twórczości Müllera praktyka cytowania celowo wprowadza do tekstu wielowartościowość oraz wieloznaczność, osiągając przy tym semantyczną mnogość, która obala pozytywny ideał przodownika klasy robotniczej. Herakles 5 nie tylko cytuje społeczne dyskursy szerszej opinii publicznej, lecz również wyspecjalizowane dyskursy nawiązujące do programów teatralnych oraz sposobów odgrywania ról, jak na przykład Durchrationalisierung des Mythos Brechta, wskazując tym samym na siebie jako na teatr.  
    In this paper Heiner Müller’s Drama Herakles 5 exemplifies the dramaturgical policies used by the author when facing the normative und restrictive SED cultural policy. These guidelines are neither failed nor followed – but cited. Müller’s specific citing practice is deliberately setting ambiguities and polyvalent meanings in motion, thus provoking a semantic overflow capable of undermining the positive ideal of a socialistic working class hero. Furthermore, Herakles 5 is not only citing the ongoing discourses of a broader public but also special discourses related to theatrical concepts and acting methods, such as for example Brecht’s Durchrationalisierung des Mythos, and by doing so refers to itself as theatre.

    The story of Herculesʼ achievements, like many others in Greek mythology, has undergone various changes since Hesiodʼs early transmissions helped to consolidate the essential elements of the myth and its characteristics. With the translocation of myths from Caucasian Iberia to Western Iberia, certain places, characters and events associated with the land were also transferred. The Fortunate Islands, the Garden of Hesperides, the place of the 10th and 11th labours of Hercules have been relocated, and the origin and meaning of the pillars set up by the hero have been identified and interpreted. The aim of this article is to show how one of these myths, namely that of Hercules and Geryon, was shaped in the classical and later periods. The transformation of three elements of this myth will be analysed: its location, the figure of Geryon and the description of Herculesʼ achievements.
    La storia delle dodici fatiche di Eracle, come molte altre della mitologia greca, ha subito vari cambiamenti da quando le prime trasmissioni di Esiodo hanno contribuito a consolidare gli elementi essenziali del mito e le sue caratteristiche. Con la traslazione dei miti dallʼIberia caucasica a quella occidentale, sono stati trasferiti anche alcuni luoghi, personaggi ed eventi associati al posto. Sono state ricollocate le Isole Fortunate, il Giardino delle Esperidi, il luogo della decima e dellʼundicesima fatica di Eracle, e sono stati identificati e interpretati lʼorigine e il significato dei pilastri eretti dallʼeroe. Lʼobiettivo di questo articolo è mostrare come uno di questi miti, quello di Eracle e Gerione, sia stato plasmato in epoca classica e successiva. Verrà analizzata la trasformazione di tre elementi di questo mito: la sua collocazione, la figura di Gerione e la descrizione delle fatiche di Ercole.

    The article is devoted to the myth of ‘Hercules at the crossroads’ and its ethical aspects. The myth was created in circles of Pythagoreans, and was kind of incentives to the right – according to the Pythagoreans – way of life. The echoes of the myth we can find in Plato’s philosophy, the life of Christ, as well as in popular movies such as Star Wars or The Matrix. The author of article adapts the myth of Hercules in their philosophical workshops ΛΕΓΩ-ΛΟΓΟΣ (LEGO–LOGOS). During the workshops ΛΕΓΩ-ΛΟΓΟΣ, participants read the texts of various philosophers: Plato’s, Aristotle’s, Cicero’s, Marcus Aurelius’, and later thinkers’: Leonardo Da Vinci’s, Descartes’ and others’. All texts are selected by a philosophical key, with a strong ethical message in the background built on the canvas of the myth of Hercules at the crossroads. This idea is presented by the author in order to illustrate its meaning with the help of classical philosophy and modern, philosophically saturated movies.
