Opis:: The aim of this study was to analyze the process of manganese sulfide formation based on thermodynamics calculation. Both experimental and theoretical analysis methods were used in this work. Computer simulation with the use of non-commercial software was used for the calculation of the process of segregation of manganese and sulfur and MnS non-metallic particles precipitates in liquid steel during solidification of ingot. The curves illustrating the inclusion formation process are presented. MnS inclusions are disposed along grain boundaries in thin layers and have a rounded shape.
W pracy analizowano proces powstawania siarczku manganu w oparciu o obliczenia termodynamiczne. Wyniki przedstawiono w odniesieniu do badań eksperymentalnych. Symulacje komputerowe procesu segregacji manganu i siarki oraz powstawania wydzieleń MnS podczas krzepnięcia stali zostały wykonane za pomocą nie komercyjnego programu komputerowego. Rezultaty symulacji komputerowej przedstawiono w postaci wykresów prezentujących segregację składników oraz krzywych obrazujących proces powstawania wydzieleń. Wtrącenia MnS są rozmieszczone wzdłuż granic ziaren i mają zaokrąglony kształt.

Opis:: Waste management is one of the most important problems concerning contemporary civilization. The increase of the number of population and consumerism, cause producing different kinds of waste. Along with the economic progress and the technical progress, humanity became the largest producer of waste in nature. Segregation is still the biggest problem of selective collection of waste. The awareness and the knowledge of people in caring about the natural environment is growing. Unfortunately, many of them are not convinced to sort municipal waste. However, in making a decision about segregation, each of them could be influenced by other factors. The aim of this study was to collect detailed criteria which influence the decision about waste segregation among people not segregating the municipal waste. Then the main criteria were grouped and their influence on the global decision was shown. In this paper a method of the Analytical Hierarchization of the Process was used. Research was conducted among 50 randomly chosen respondents from Poland. The results of the research showed that the financial penalties and the possibility of reducing the payment for sorted municipal waste could increase the amount of people who segregate the municipal waste. Increasing the awareness of reducing the natural resources consuming is not as important criterion as two mentioned before.

Opis:: Wzrost liczby ludności i nieustanny wzrost konsumpcjonizmu powodują powstawanie coraz większej ilości odpadów różnego pochodzenia. Segregacja odpadów stanowi nadal duży problem dla możliwości selektywnej zbiórki odpadów. Świadomość i wiedza ludzi w zakresie dbania o środowisko naturalne jest coraz większa. Coraz więcej ludzi przekonuje się do konieczności segregowania swoich odpadów, jednakże w podjęciu decyzji każdy z nich mógł kierować się innymi czynnikami. Celem pracy było zebranie czynników szczegółowych, jakie wpłynęły na decyzję o segregowaniu odpadów przez osoby regularnie je segregujące, pogrupowaniu je w czynniki główne i określenia ich wpływu na globalną decyzję. W pracy wykorzystano metodę Analitycznej Hierarchizacji Procesu, która pozwala na określenie wpływu poszczególnych czynników na decyzję. Badania przeprowadzone były wśród 30 losowo wybranych respondentów z województwa wielkopolskiego. Badania wykazują na wysoka świadomość ludzi o konieczności dbania o środowisko naturalne.
The population and the consumerism increase cause producing different kinds of waste. Segregation is still the biggest problem of the selective collection of waste. The awareness and the knowledge of people in caring about the natural environment is growing. More people are becoming convinced to sort their waste. However, in making a decision about segregation, each of them could be influenced by other factors. The aim of this study was to collect detailed factors which influence the decision about waste segregation. Research was conducted among people who regularly sort waste. Then the main factors were grouped and their influence on the global decision was shown. In this paper a method of the Analytical Hierarchization of the Process was used. Research was conducted amongst 30 randomly chosen respondents from the Wielkopolska Voivodeship. The results of the research showed high awareness of people about the need to care about the natural environment
