    Opis:
    The nature of this paper is determined by three main theses that delineate the scope and boundaries of the title problem: 1. the method of phenomenological research is a method developed on the basis of philosophical discourse and it is based on the cognitive legitimacy of different varieties of phenomenological philosophy; 2. there is no obvious transition from the assumptions, methods and achievements of phenomenological philosophy to its reception and application on the pedagogical ground. Such concepts are always specific transpositions, adaptations and implementations that more or less abstract from the original intentions and intentions of phenomenology itself; 3. the vast majority of pedagogical receptions of phenomenology take the form of referring to selected research results and the content of particular analyses. The attempts to apply the very method of phenomenological analysis, in a well-established, methodical and consistent way, are rare.

    Opis:
    The inability to communicate fluently is often accompanied by strong emotions: anger, frustration, shame and fear, however, it is not the rule. Experiencing stuttering is highly dependent on individual characteristics and personality traits. Emotional experiences of people who stutter are increasingly subject to analysis. Notwithstanding, there is a noticeable deficit of research concerning the experiences of people who stutter in daily contact with music, especially on the opera stage, hence the text presents a description of the opera singer’s career and experiences.
    Niepłynności mówienia w czasie komunikowania się często towarzyszą silne emocje: złość, frustracja, wstyd i strach, jednak nie jest to regułą. Doświadczenie jąkania w dużym stopniu zależy od indywidualnych cech i cech osobowości. Doświadczenia emocjonalne osób jąkających się coraz częściej poddawane są analizie. Zauważalny jest jednak deficyt badań dotyczących doświadczeń osób jąkających się w codziennym kontakcie z muzyką, zwłaszcza na scenie operowej, stąd też w artykule przedstawiono opis kariery i przeżyć śpiewaka operowego.

    Opis:
    Nauczanie problemowe (ang. Problem-based Learning) wywarło w ostatnich latach duży wpływ na światową dydaktykę akademicką, w tym na dydaktykę logopedyczną. W Polsce zauważalnym trendem w kształceniu uniwersyteckim staje się przechodzenie od form tradycyjnych, czyli wykładów i ćwiczeń, do metody problemowej. Wciąż brakuje jednak badań adaptacji metody problemowej w warunkach polskich, w tym badań dotyczących odbioru takiej formy kształcenia przez studentów. W artykule przedstawiono badania jakościowe dotyczące przeżyć i emocji, jakie towarzyszyły sześciorgu studentom (próba celowa) pierwszego roku magisterskich studiów logopedycznych na Uniwersytecie Jagiellońskim podczas wyboru studióww formacie metody problemowej, studiowania oraz planowania pracy w zawodzie logopedy. Fenomenologiczna analiza wywiadów pogłębionych pozwoliła wyłonić tematy wiodące i peryferyjne, które mogą stać się podstawą działań zmierzających do poprawy odbioru nauczania problemowego przez studentów logopedii.
    Problem-based Learning (PBL) has had a significant impact on tertiary education programs around the world in recent years, including programs in speech-language pathology. In Poland, the change from traditional teaching forms, such as lectures and classes, to problem-based tutorials has been a noticeable trend. There is a scarcity of research devoted to PBL adaptations in Poland, including research on student reception of this approach to education. The present study describes the experiences and emotions accompanying a purposive sample of six participants, firstyear students of Master’s speech therapy studies at Jagiellonian University, at the time of enrolling in the PBL program, during their studies and when they consider their future work as speech therapists. The phenomenological analysis of in-depth interview data has made it possible to identify several lead and peripheral themes which can become the basis of actions aimed at improving student response to problem-based learning in speech pathology education.

    Opis:
    This paper examines some of the key cultural concepts and relevant historical factors that may shape the development of Anglo-Cypriot gay identity. Accounts of sexual identity experiences provided by second generation Greek and Turkish Cypriot gay men in London are examined in the light of this analysis to explore how these men negotiate Anglo-Cypriot and gay identity. Twenty-eight self-identified second generation Greek and Turkish gay men living in London were recruited by advertising in the gay press, by writing to community groups, and gay groups and organizations and by “snowballing.” In-depth face-to-face interviews were conducted with those men recruited through these channels. Data were subjected to interpretative phenomenological analysis. The personal accounts of these men demonstrate that their sexual identity does not always become their primary identity and that different identities are constructed by individuals at different places and times. Most men indicated that the translation of their sexual desires and behaviors into the “political statement” of gay identity is not only difficult but is strongly resisted. Instead they chose to construct their identity in terms of their relationships with their families, their peers at work and other members of their community. The findings of this research may help develop an understanding of the complexities surrounding the “sexual and cultural” identities of Anglo-Cypriot gay men, thereby reinforcing the notion that identity is multiple, contested and contextual.

    There is a relationship between selected factors of creation of authorized car organization and phenomeno-logical conception. In marketing, this philosophical method is used in qulitative research. Mixed research methods are used in studies connected with the existence of dealership organization. The research done among the clients of the authorized car service shows, that customers do not want to in-dependently tell their opinion about the organization. This happens, because there are so many technical indicators in car service organization. Customers who indicate the reason themselves for the visit in car ser-vice organization assess the quality service worse than those who choose the reason from the questionnaire. In addition, customers who are independent in determining actions needed it to be improved, later assess the quality of service better. In summary, mixed research methods allow to determine the strengths and weaknesses of the organization.

    The aim of this article is to critically analyze and evaluate scientific publication concerning the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA), written by Jonathan A. Smith, Paul Flowers and Michael Larkin (2009), in the context of the potential of using the approach in pedagogy and also in andragogy. IPA is used more often by representatives of the humanities, social sciences, and health sciences, but so far no attempt was made to introduce this approach to pedagogy-andragogy in which hermeneuticphenomenological perspective has already been used.
    Celem niniejszego artykułu jest próba krytycznej analizy i oceny publikacji naukowej dotyczącej Interpretacyjnej analizy fenomenologicznej (ang. Interpretative phenomenological analysis – IPA), której autorami są: Jonathan A. Smith, Paul Flowers i Michael Larkin (2009), w kontekście możliwości wykorzystania tego podejścia w pedagogice, w tym także w andragogice. IPA coraz częściej wykorzystywana jest przez przedstawicieli nauk humanistycznych, społecznych czy nauk o zdrowiu, dotychczas jednak nie podjęto próby wprowadzenia tego podejścia do pedagogiki andragogiki, w której swoją tradycję ma już perspektywa hermeneutyczno-fenomenologiczna.

    Artykuł referuje założenia stojące za ramą teoretyczną badań wyznaczaną przez interpretacyjną analizę fenomenologiczną (Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis, w skrócie IPA). W opracowaniu dokonano charakterystyki tej metody badawczej jako metody stosowanej w ramach strategii badań jakościowych, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem możliwości zastosowania IPA w badaniach nad przestępczością. W warstwie egzemplifkacyjnej omówiono pokrótce program badawczy Critical Race Theory jako nurtu w prawoznawstwie stosującego metody zbliżone do modelu IPA.W podsumowaniu z kolei zawarto przykładowe problemy, które w szczególnym stopniu można badać w odwołaniu do IPA.
    The article presents the theoretical framework of research determined by Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (abbreviated IPA). This research method has been characterized as a method used in qualitative research strategies. The article focuses on the possibility of using IPA in research on crime. The Critical Race Theory (CRT) research program. CRT is a research and intellectual perspective in legal sciences using methods similar to the IPA model is also briefly discussed. The summary of the article contains examples of problems that can be investigated with IPA.
