Opis:
This paper is devoted to the improvement of the working methods of the "signal-filter" pair using an iterative procedure to maximize the signal-to-noise ratio, namely, to highlight the useful signals to provide information about the environment during the adaptive radar sensing in the conditions of obstacles. An algorithm for determining the optimal filter for suppressing undesired side lobes is proposed, which allows improving the process of detection and identification the target objects. Qualitative characteristics and the stages of space-time signal processing in the radar were justified under correlation conditions (ССF) between the received and expected signals. The using of probing radar signals, shortened in their duration were proposed in order to reduce the power of reflections from the underlying surface and increase the contrast of the radar image. A simulation test of the developed methodology was carried out in order to confirm the reliability of the proposed algebraic expressions using a mathematical model implemented in the Matlab programming environment, and a conclusion is drawn about the practical quality of the technical solutions developed on the basis of the iteration method.

Opis:
This article presents the task of safely guiding a ship, taking into account the movement of many other marine units. An optimally neural modified algorithm for determining a safe trajectory is presented. The possible shapes of the domains assigned to other ships as traffic restrictions for the particular ship were subjected to a detailed analysis. The codes for the computer program Neuro-Constraints for generating these domains are presented. The results of the simulation tests of the algorithm for a navigational situation are presented. The safe trajectories of the ship were compared at different distances, changing the sailing conditions and ship sizes.

This paper presents a multi-criteria optimization approach for modeling the negotiation process. The negotiation process is modeled as a special multi-criteria problem. The method of finding solutions involves a process of the interactive selection of certain proposals. The parties submit proposals concerning the subjects of the negotiations; these proposals constitute the parameters of the multi-criteria optimization problem. Selecting the solutions is accomplished by solving the optimization problem using the parameters that define the aspirations of each party to the negotiations. Finally, the solutions reached by the parties are evaluated.

Opis:
The paper presents its contribution to tracking control design of mechanical systems in underactuated mode conditions, i.e. when the number of actuators is less than the number of possible control inputs. Fully actuated mechanical systems are quite well-researched and controller designs are well-developed for them as well. However, due to costs, weight, design, and performance regimes or due to an actuator failure, the underactuated control mode is required in applications. With the aid of the computational procedure for constrained dynamics (CoPCoD), the constrained dynamics, i.e. the reference motion dynamics, and tracking control in an underactuated mode are designed for an example of a three-link planar manipulator model with rigid and flexible links. A dynamic optimization problem is formulated in the paper to obtain optimal time courses of manipulator joint coordinates in underactuated mode conditions in order to apply them to a manipulator driving links controller.

Opis:
Endurance capability is a key indicator to evaluate the performance of electric vehicles. Improving the energy density of battery packs in a limited space while ensuring the safety of the vehicle is one of the currently used technological solutions. Accordingly, a small space and high energy density battery arrangement scheme is proposed in this paper. The comprehensive performance of two battery packs based on the same volume and different space arrangements is compared. Further, based on the same thermal management system (PCM-fin system), the thermal performance of staggered battery packs with high energy density is numerically simulated with different fin structures, and the optimal fin structure parameters for staggered battery packs at a 3C discharge rate are determined using the entropy weight-TOPSIS method. The result reveals that increasing the contact thickness between the fin and the battery (X) can reduce the maximum temperature, but weaken temperature homogeneity. Moreover, the change of fin width (A) has no significant effect on the heat dissipation performance of the battery pack. Entropy weight-TOPSIS method objectively assigns weights to both maximum temperature (Tmax) and temperature difference (DT) and determines the optimal solution for the cooling system fin parameters. It is found that when X = 0:67 mm, A = 0:6 mm, the staggered battery pack holds the best comprehensive performance.
