Opis:
The concept of truth in irony should be approached through the lens of the speaker’s beliefs and intentions. However, the experience and emotions of an ironic message’s recipient are not without significance. The proposed approach describes irony as a form of concealment and camouflage. Irony vibrates between “what is said but not intended” and “what is intended but not said.” It balances between the ostensible truth and the ostensible untruth. “Ironic criticism,” also known as “blaming by praise,” appears positive, although its true message is not. The reverse happens to be true for “ironic praise.” From a moral perspective, irony is not virtuous: It violates “truth-telling” and is sometimes clownish. The author’s final considerations on the subject of “Does irony have gender?” are followed by a concise description of gender differences in the use of irony and self-mockery.

Opis:
Ambiguity of the human condition and its existentialist interpretations according to Simone de Beauvoir Simone de Beauvoir perceives existentialism as a philosophy of ambiguity, suggesting that a man should reconcile the contradictions of the human condition. The philosophical essays of the author show the evolution of her thinking. Beauvoir discovers the paradoxes of existentialism, mainly the antimony between responsibility and powerlessness of an individual. Her work captures an image of reality while relativizing philosophical values and maintaining the opposites. Her texts show the ambivalent attitude of the author to existence. Thus, they reflect her point of view, according to which moral consciousness only exists when a person experiences some intellectual dissonance or a sense of failure. Then, according to Beauvoir, life becomes meaningful through action enabled by free choice.

Opis:
In framing a question about meaning of man, respectively human history, Patočka uses a historical-philosophical aspect as well as a phenomenological aspect. By tracking the genesis of the concept of eternity from Kant to the 20th century he concludes, that human meaning cannot be derived from moral postulates which exceed finitness of man. By deleting the concept of eternity Patočka concludes, that the question of meaning cannot be bound by human targets, because filled purpose is already objectified, existing, without the horizon of your being and in this its takes the form of a relative meaning. The meaning, according to Patočka is phenomenologically bound to being, which is non-objective, implying that the meaning is problematic, unreal, yet constantly perpetuated. This attitude has served Patočka to the criticism of nihilism and in it especially to the unacceptability of active nihilism, the concept which Nietzsche introduced into the philosophy. Patočka transferred a critique of Nietzsche´s understanding of realized meaning in terms of superman by rejection of his idea of will to power (he understood it in the definition of gross and ruthless animal life, namely in the form of the highest being) and the doubtful idea of eternal return. Patočka with his attitude to Nietzsche only echoed the opinion presented by Heidegger, which called Nietzsche the consummator of modern subjectivity. In terms of the present (Kouba) it shows, that phenomenology will profit more if it converts both Nietzsche´s thoughts to its own area and use them in the analysis of situational meaning that is constantly (by contradiction) bound to the horizon of possibility of the situation without a sense – that is in meaningful situation suppressed, not realized, but its validity and consistency with the horizon of meaning does not lose. In this view, it appears that Nietzsche´s understanding of the meaning is also problematic, but this problematic natureis not bound to absolute meaning.

The article examines some errors in the translation of articles on social and political matters from Russian into Bulgarian. The aims of the study were: to identify the causes of translation errors and the most common types of errors in accordance with the requirements of translation adequacy, as adopted in Russian translatology. The method of research was a comparative analysis of the translation – an analysis of the form and content of the translated text in comparison with the form and content of the original text. Two types of classification are used as a basis for systematizing identified errors. The first one looks at the reasons for their occurrence and identifies the levels of the translation process at which such errors occur. In the second classification, the leading errors are the degree of distortion of the original text and the aspects of errors in translation. In this regard, different types of content inconsistencies are distinguished: unmotivated addition or omission of elements, irrelevant wordings, untranslated units, “false friends of the translator”, violation of the general subject or textual logic, etc. As a result of the analysis, it was established that the main mistakes occurred at the sign-concept level, mainly due to the misunderstanding of the meaning of certain words in the original; errors are also observed at the stage of re-expression of the semantic system due to translator’s poor command of both the original language and the language of translation. Based on the material from the reviewed articles, the most common errors that were classified were “misinformative change of meaning” and “inaccuracy”.

Opis:
The ambiguity of understanding and use of the term “human rights” reduces the effectiveness of the law-making and law enforcement activities of state and inter-national bodies, creates negative conditions for the formation of the unified worl-dview and legal position of future lawyers and representatives of other humanities. This article aims to define, formulate the content and describe the legal essence of the term “human rights,” and to substantiate the thesis about the harmfulness of the legal science, law-making and law enforcement use of this term with different meanings. The leading method of research is the method of analysis, which allows one to study the subject, imaginatively dividing it into constituent elements, and to consider each of the selected elements separately within a single whole. This article presents the argumentation of the need for a single wording, understanding, and use of the legal term “human rights.” The materials of the article have practical value for the effective implementation of the law-making and law enforcement activities of state and international bodies, for the formation of the unified worldview and legal position of future lawyers and representatives of other humanities, as well as for a correct and clear explanation of problems with the implemen-tation and protection of human rights.
