    Artykuł koncentruje się na prezentacji założeń podejścia międzykulturowego w oparciu o przykład konferencji CICA. W przedstawionym tekście dokonano przeglądu literatury przedmiotu – umiejętności międzykulturowych – ich założeń, procedur oraz znaczenia. Podano także praktyczne przykłady wykorzystania tego podejścia. W pierwszej części artykułu opisano raport i roboczą definicję kompetencji międzykulturowych oraz zaprezentowano międzykulturowe podejście oparte na pracach Benneta, Deardorff i Heywarda. Na podstawie zilustrowanych ram kompetencji międzykulturowych, przedstawiono kryteria kompetencji międzykulturowych (ICC), które muszą być spełnione przy tworzeniu środowiska wspierającego ich rozwój. Przykłady i jasne kryteria mogą być pomocne przy tworzeniu kolejnych wydarzeń społecznych, konferencji czy szkoleń, bowiem tylko realne stosowanie założeń ICC wspomaga dialog międzykulturowy
    The article focuses on the presentation of the assumptions of an intercultural approach based on the example of the CICA conference. The presented text reviews the subject literature – intercultural skills – their assumptions, procedures and meanings. Practical examples of using this approach are also given. The first part of the article describes the report and the working definition of intercultural competences and presents an intercultural approach based on the works of Bennet, Deardorff and Heyward. Based on the illustrated intercultural competence framework, the criteria for intercultural competences (ICC) are set out, which must be met when creating an environment that supports their development. Examples and clear criteria may be helpful in the creation of further social events, conferences or trainings, because only the real application of the ICC assumptions supports intercultural dialogue.

    The article is focused on application psychological intercultural approach based on cross – cultural challenges. In the paper the theory, procedures were presented and what is most interested one example of real organisation which can be called “intercultural competence excellence”. In the first part of the paper, the report and “working’ definition of intercultural competencies are described and intercultural approach based on Bennet, Deardorff and Heyward were presented. Having a framework of intercultural competence such as these presented and discussed above, the criteria of ICC was presented. They was used to described the CICA as an organisation. The real example can be helpful in ensuring a more comprehensive, integrated approach in everyday work and life and promoting a better cross-cultural dialogue.

    The specific situation of a German academic working outside of Germany emerges via the differential and non-simultaneous absorption (or incorporation) of methodological schools and traditions. This article shows a possible means of executing the balancing act between the learned "third culture" and your own tradition. It is about the interfaces between experience and expectation which one can find them through understanding the narrative structures. One can glean profound understanding via: narrative structure, deep structure of the text, on the basis of stories and cultural tropes, and through to structured narrative itself and to the story than the way the literature appropriation in the foreign language specific perspective. We only know as much as we are able to express. The language cultural identity exists because of the language and it is equal as narrative identity.

    Rozwój psychologii kulturowej i badań międzykulturowych dostarcza nowych narzędzi opisu i analizy instytucji małżeństwa. Jest ono już nie tylko systemem o określonych funkcjach, ale także związkiem, którego cechy i sposób funkcjonowania są w istotnym stopniu regulowane przez wartości i normy kulturowe. Koncepcje wartości kulturowych stanowią dobrą podstawę interpretacji życia małżeńskiego w kontekście porównań różnych systemów wartości. Wyjaśniają one, jak definiowana jest miłość jako ważna zasada doboru w pary i jak kształtują się relacje małżeńskie (władza, atrakcyjność wzajemna, komunikowanie się, konflikty i negocjacje), szczególnie w przypadku małżeństw wielokulturowych, do których partnerzy wnoszą różne doświadczenia i tradycje.
    The development of culture psychology and intercultural studies provides new tools for describing and analysing the institution of marriage. It is not any longer only a system of specified functions but also a relation of which the features and the way of functioning is largely regulated by cultural values and norms. The concepts of cultural values constitute a good foundation for interpreting marital life in the context of comparisons between various systems of values. They explain how love is defined as an important principle of couple matching and how marital relations are shaped (power, mutual attractiveness, communication, conflicts and negotiations), especially in the case of multicultural marriages, into which partners bring in different experiences and traditions.

    Opis:
    The paper covers the symbolism of death, which seems to be largely overlooked, trivialized or narrowly read both by the public and by some authors of texts on contemporary aesthetics. Numerous artists of the 20th and 21st century, including those widely known and commented on, try to restore the theme of mortality to the culture of the West, often showing it in the form of intercultural symbols, present in art from the beginning of its documented existence. The aim of this essay is to summon some meanings of such symbols, which are in a comprehensive way traditional, but invariably attractive for contemporary artists and thus freely transformed, and to sketch the possibility of their potential existential impact. The exploration of the possible causes of these meanings has been conducted on the basis of the selected proposals of interpretation in visual anthropology and depth psychology. The symbolism of death and its alleged role in contemporary art and contemporary Western culture have been also confronted with the selected proposals of the philosophy of life.
    Artykuł dotyczy symboliki śmierci, która wydaje się w dużej mierze niezauważana, banalizo-wana lub wąsko odczytywana zarówno przez współczesnych odbiorców sztuki, jak i przez estetykę współczesną. Autorka zakłada, że artyści XX i XXI wieku, również ci szeroko znani i komentowani, starają się przywrócić kulturze Zachodu tematykę skończoności życia, podając nam ją często „do widzenia” w postaci zestawień międzykulturowych symboli obecnych w sztuce od początku jej udokumentowanego istnienia. Celem pracy jest ukazanie niektórych znaczeń symboliki śmierci (nieodmiennie atrakcyjnej dla twórców, w sposób szeroko pojęty tradycyjnej, choć swobodnie współcześnie trawestowanej) oraz możliwości jej potencjalnego oddziaływania. Eksploracja możliwych przyczyn aktualności tych znaczeń przeprowadzona została w oparciu o wybrane propozycje interpretacyjne antropologii kultury wizualnej i psy-chologii głębi. Symbolika śmierci i jej domniemana rola w sztuce współczesnej i współczesnej kulturze zachodniej zostały także skonfrontowane z wybranymi propozycjami filozofii życia.
