Opis:
Promoting the use of public transport is increasingly urgent in our society, both to reduce traffic congestion, air pollution and stress levels, and to ensure the high level of mobility demanded by citizens. The lack of continuous on-trip assistance for public transport users discourages many travellers. Thus, the main objective of this work is to design a personal digital travel companion for outdoor location and event detection based on Bluetooth Low Energy, which can be used for intelligent transport technology. After analysing the functional requirements, the proposal is implemented as a mobile application for beacon-based event detection. The system includes an algorithm aided by fuzzy logic to determine the action to be carried out by the user at all times, being able to distinguish between different possible events when more than one beacon is detected. To defend the scheme against possible attacks based on beacon forgery or user tracking, the proposal includes different forms of authentication for data sent from beacons and data sent from the mobile application. The results obtained in simulations show that the proposed system is a viable guidance solution for public transport, including energy saving as one of its main advantages.

Opis:
The article describes the profile of a career counsellor against the background of historical changes in the orientation and vocational guidance system in Germany. The formal and legal conditions of the counseling profession were also described, due to the fact that in Germany there are no uniform legal regulations regarding the qualifications, training or professional status of persons providing career guidance. The results of the analysis carried out indicate that in the context of lifelong learning, education and career guidance is a link between the needs of citizens and the requirements of education and the labour market. The long tradition of well-established educational and vocational guidance in Germany is intertwined with dynamic socio-economic changes that generate new challenges for the guidance system, including the counseling profession.
W artykule scharakteryzowano sylwetkę doradcy zawodowego na tle historycznych przemian systemu orientacji i poradnictwa zawodowego w Niemczech. Opisano również uwarunkowania formalno-prawne zawodu doradcy w związku z tym, że w Niemczech nie istnieją jednolite regulacje prawne dotyczące kwalifikacji, szkolenia czy statusu zawodowego osób zajmujących się poradnictwem zawodowym. Wyniki przeprowadzonej analizy wskazują, że w kontekście uczenia się przez całe życie poradnictwo edukacyjno-zawodowe stanowi łącznik między potrzebami obywateli a wymogami edukacji i rynku pracy. Długa tradycja dobrze ugruntowanego poradnictwa edukacyjnego i zawodowego w Niemczech przeplata się z dynamicznymi zmianami społeczno-gospodarczymi, które generują nowe wyzwania względem systemu poradnictwa, w tym zawodu doradcy.

W części teoretycznej artykułu zaprezentowano w dużym skrócie proces kształtowania się decyzji – fazę orientacji w kontekście procesów poznawczych własnego "ja" i świata zawodów oraz rynku pracy. Założenia teoretyczno-prawne dopuszczają swobodę organizacji szkolnego doradztwa zawodowego opartego na Wewnątrzszkolnym Systemie Doradztwa Zawodowego i/lub działalności szkolnego doradcy zawodowego. Krótka analiza kwalifikacji wymaganych od szkolnych doradców zawodowych w Polsce i krajach Unii Europejskiej wskazuje na ich porównywalność. W części empirycznej artykułu zaprezentowano wyniki badań przeprowadzonych w latach 2003/2004 i 2005/2006 oraz 2012/2013 na populacji gimnazjalistów, uczniów szkół gimnazjalnych i mniejszej grupie studentów. Celem badań było zdiagnozowanie zasadności tworzenia w szkołach powiatu tarnowskiego sieci szkolnych ośrodków doradztwa zawodowego oraz oczekiwań uczniów szkół gimnazjalnych w okresie zmiany szkoły. Kolejne edycje badań miały już charakter diagnostyczno-ocenny. Na podstawie przedstawionej analizy danych wskazano bariery zewnętrzne w stosunku do szkół i bariery wewnętrzne wytwarzane w obrębie szkoły.
In the theoretical part of the paper a decision-making process is presented―the phase of orientation in the context of cognitive processes of "self-identification" and the world of occupations together with the labour market. Theoretical and legal assumptions allow the Ewolucja szkolnego doradztwa zawodowego w ocenie uczniów i studentów freedom in organising school vocational guidance based on the Inner School Vocational Guidance System―and/or activity of a school counsellor. A brief analysis of the qualifications required from school counsellors in Poland and in the European Union indicates their comparability. The empirical part of the paper presents the results of the research conducted in the years 2003/2004 and 2005/2006, as well as in 2012/2013 on a population of lower secondary school students, secondary school students and a group of university students. The aim of the above mentioned research was to diagnose the legitimacy of creating a network of professional guidance centres in Tarnów Poviat schools and the expectations of lower-secondary school students during the school change. The further editions of studies already had a diagnostic and evaluative character. Based on the data analysis, the external and internal barriers have been indicated which influence the effective career counselling.

The amendment to the Education Act extended the mandatory tasks of school to the obligation of providing support in preparing students to enter the profession together with the area of future study. This article is an attempt of diagnosis of the school career counselling based on the research conducted in secondary schools and upper-secondary schools of Tarnów County. The purpose of the article, addressed mainly to the teachers, is to draw attention to the problems connected with the students school support (in the phase of career planning and further education) and effectiveness evaluation of the school career counselling in the context of students expectations. The first, theoretical part of the article presents an overview of formation of the decision making entity. In the second part of the paper, beginning with the sixth chapter, the results of research conducted in the last ten years in secondary and upper-secondary schools of Tarnów County are presented. The first secondary school studies confirmed the dramatic demand for advisory assistance, which was one of the essential prerequisites to create a network of school guidance centres at secondary schools. A recent study showed the progression of advisory activities. Also, the structure of support expected by the students has changed. Online students, unlike their older colleagues, do not expect help in planning but support in understanding their personality. At the end of the article, apart from the conclusions, a recommendation for widespread school career counselling is included.
Nowelizacja Ustawy o systemie oświaty poszerzyła obowiązkowe zadania szkoły o obowiązek udzielania wsparcia w zakresie przygotowania uczniów do wyboru zawodu i kierunku kształcenia. Artykuł jest próbą diagnozy szkolnego doradztwa zawodowego przeprowadzonej na podstawie badań w gimnazjach i w szkołach ponadgimnazjalnych powiatu tarnowskiego. Celem artykułu – kierowanego głównie do nauczycieli – jest zwrócenie uwagi na problemy związane z udzielaniem uczniom wsparcia przez szkoły (pojawiające się w fazie konstruowania planów zawodowych i edukacyjnych) oraz ocena skuteczności funkcjonowania szkolnego doradztwa zawodowego w kontekście oczekiwań uczniów. W pierwszej, teoretycznej części artykułu zaprezentowano w zarysie zagadnienie kształtowania się podmiotu decyzyjnego. W kolejnych przedstawiono wyniki badań prowadzonych w szkołach gimnazjalnych i ponadgimnazjalnych powiatu tarnowskiego w okresie ostatnich dziesięciu lat. Pierwsze badania gimnazjalistów potwierdziły zapotrzebowanie na pomoc doradczą, co stanowiło jedną z istotnych przesłanek do utworzenia sieci szkolnych ośrodków doradztwa zawodowego w szkołach ponadgimnazjalnych. Wyniki ostatnich badań wykazały progresję działań doradczych. Zmieniła się też struktura oczekiwanej pomocy ze strony uczniów. Obecni uczniowie – w przeciwieństwie do swoich starszych kolegów – nie oczekują pomocy w planowaniu, ale wsparcia w poznawaniu swojej osobowości. W zakończeniu artykułu – oprócz wniosków – zamieszczono rekomendację upowszechnienia szkolnego doradztwa zawodowego.

The text brings closer the career (vocational) guidance issues in the context of the vocational education specificity. Liquid modernity, with multidirectional changes occurring at a great speed, and growing requirements of the competitive labour market have become fertile soil for the growth of all sorts of guidance services, i.e. activities that concern the entire human life and treat individuals in a holistic way. Being one of them, the career guidance has travelled a long way undergoing a paradigmatic change of its objectives and tasks and of other aspects, i.e. how a relation with a client starts or what methods are applied. Vocational school students are one of those groups where career structuring is in demand. Being a weak link in Poland’s education system before the economic and political system transformations of 1989, after this date the group actually has started drifting, losing to the growing educational aspirations and the boom of secondary education that opened the door to increasingly popular higher education. Current efforts to restore vocational education need to be coupled with career guidance services that are provided professionally to the present and future vocational school students. Assumptions of these career guidance activities do not seem to differ basically from the general assumptions applied in the holistic guidance, which does not mean that a search for methods suited to this group of young people should be discontinued.

The work presents a comparative analysis of two methods for the guidance of a guided bomb against a ground target. One of the methods analyzed was the patented solution described in Ref. [1]. The executive system includes a high-speed rotor mounted on a universal joint. The computer simulation results were represented graphically.

The research behind this paper arose out of a need to use an open-source system that enables hand guiding of the robot effector using a force sensor. The paper deals with some existing solutions, including the solution based on the open-source framework Robot Operating System (ROS), in which the built-in motion planner MoveIt is used. The proposed concept of a hand-guiding system utilizes the output of the force–torque sensor mounted at the robot effector to obtain the desired motion, which is thereafter used for planning consequential motion trajectories. Some advantages and disadvantages of the built-in planner are discussed, and then the custom motion planning solution is proposed to overcome the identified drawbacks. Our planning algorithm uses polynomial interpolation and is suitable for continuous replanning of the consequential motion trajectories, which is necessary because the output from the sensor changes due to the hand action during robot motion. The resulting system is verified using a virtual robot in the ROS environment, which acts on the real Optoforce force–torque sensor HEX-70-CE-2000N. Furthermore, the workspace and the motion of the robot are restricted to a greater extent to achieve more realistic simulation.

The subject of the article is the issue of spiritual direction in the life and activity of St. John Bosco. The first part discusses the experience of spiritual guidance received by John Bosco in his childhood. Deprived of paternal protection at the age of two, Don Bosco was himself in need of wise mentors and masters in order to become later a spiritual guide for his own pupils. Next, the article points out the specifics of Don Bosco’s spiritual direction offered to the youth of the oratory. The specific character of his methods stemmed up primarily from the type of his own spirituality as well as personal experience and moral exemplars followed by the Saint. The last part of this publication presents selected forms of Don Bosco’s spiritual direction, both at the sacramental and extra sacramental level.

Polityka informacyjna uznawana jest za jeden z kluczowych działań banków centralnych. Pierwotnie stanowiła istotne wsparcie realizacji strategii bezpośredniego celu inflacyjnego. W ostatnich latach – po wybuchu globalnego kryzysu finansowego – znaczenie polityki informacyjnej wzrosło. Wyodrębniono nowe narzędzie komunikacji władz monetarnych – forward guidance, które stało się jednym z niestandardowych instrumentów polityki pieniężnej. Celem głównym opracowania stała się zatem identyfikacja założeń nowego narzędzia wykorzystywanego w polityce informacyjnej współczesnych banków centralnych – polityki forward guidance, będącej jednym z głównych komponentów systemu komunikacji współczesnych władz monetarnych z otoczeniem. Przesłanką podjęcia niniejszej problematyka jest fakt, iż w dokonującym się procesie normalizacji współczesnej polityki pieniężnej polityka informacyjna nabiera szczególnego znaczenia, gdyż sprzyja podtrzymaniu pozytywnych efektów niekonwencjonalnej polityki monetarnej oraz zwiększeniu skuteczności działań normalizujących.
Communication policy is considered as a one of the key central banks’ activities. Originally, it was a significant support for implementation of flexible inflation targeting strategy. In recent years – after the outbreak of the global financial crisis – the importance of communication policy has increased. Forward guidance – a new communication tool for monetary authorities was identified, which has become one of the nonstandard monetary policy instruments. The main aim of the study was identification of the assumptions of the new tool, used in information policy of modern central banks – the forward guidance policy, defined as a one of the main components of the communication system of modern monetary authorities with their stakeholders. The premise for undertaking this issue is the fact that in the ongoing normalization process of modern monetary policy, information policy is particularly important because it supports maintaining the positive effects of unconventional monetary policy and increases the effectiveness of normalizing activities.

Surface-Based Air Defence systems are the main actions on the ground means of response in fighting with aerial threats. Effectiveness of response is given by its basic elements as defended area size, type and number of missiles systems or command and control and logistical support. Guiding method means a well-defined law ruling the missile trajectory near the target, depending on target coordinates and motion parameters, to ensure a successful mission. The influence of target routing law on the missile guidance should not be confused with some guidance methods. Therefore, for missile guidance, it is enough to determine (regardless of the guidance method), the target motion equations related only to its coordinate elevation angle, kinematics, azimuth, and weather conditions.

This article presents a mathematical model and an algorithm for controlling a guided bomb to a moving and a stationary ground target. The target path was determined from the kinematic relationships of the reciprocal movement of the bomb and the ground target, based on the proportional approximation method. The analysed control system used sliding control, with the PID algorithm to determine the sliding plane. Three types of sliding planes were considered. In addition, a comparative analysis was carried out for three types of controllers: classic PID, sliding and hybrid. Selected results of the computer simulation are listed.
W artykule przedstawiony jest model matematyczny oraz algorytm sterowania bombą kierowaną na ruchomy oraz nieruchomy cel naziemny. Tor zadany wyznaczono ze związków kinematycznych ruchu wzajemnego bomby i celu naziemnego z wykorzystaniem metody proporcjonalnego zbliżania. Analizowany system sterowania opiera się o sterowanie ślizgowe z algorytmem PID do określenia płaszczyzny ślizgu. Rozpatrzone zostały trzy rodzaje płaszczyzn ślizgu. Dodatkowo dokonano analizy porównawczej dla trzech typów regulatorów: klasycznego PID, ślizgowego oraz hybrydowego. Przytoczone zostały wybrane wyniki symulacji komputerowej.

This paper presents original researches and analysis of EGNOS (European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service) due to readiness for Approach Procedures with Vertical Guidance (APV) implementation and development for small and medium airports on Polish territory according to present situation in the western part of Europe. Improving safety, availability, usefulness and cost-effectiveness for aviation transport sector. This work carries out a detailed analysis of the parameters describing and characterizing each augmentation navigational satellites system: accuracy, integrity, continuity and availability. Faults has been pointed out and shortcomings of EGNOS factors according to improvement air transport safety in the most sensitive landing phases. The validated Approach Procedures with Vertical Guidance, using Satellite-Based Augmentations System is paving the way for flying Instrument Landing System type approaches to small and medium airports in the western part of Europe independently of groundbased infrastructure. The instrument APV procedures consists of four phases of flight: Initial Approach, Intermediate Approach, Final Approach and Missed Approach – parts of approach segments. SBAS (Satellite Based Augmentation System) seems to be the first satellite based system that can support FAS (Final Approach Segment) which is the most “sensitive”, important and dangerous part of the instrumental approach procedures based on aircraft’s avionics equipment most time without vertical and horizontal visibility. EGNOS augments the GPS system in order to meet the necessary: accuracy, integrity, availability, continuity envisaged for APV procedures [9]. APV procedure based on EGNOS system is recently the only low-cost chance for small and medium Polish airports development in the aviation transport sector, according to extension and improving augmentation system factors mentioned above.
W artykule przedstawione zostały oryginalne badania i analiza system EGNOS (European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service) w odniesienu do implementacji i rozwoju Procedur Podejścia do Lądowania z Prowadzeniem Pionowym w małych i średnich portach lotniczych na terenie Polski, biorąc pod uwagę stan w Europie Zachodniej. Poprawiając tym samym bezpieczeństwo, dostępność, użytkowość i koszty eksploatacji w sektorze transport powietrznego. Praca ta przedstawia dokładną analizę czynników opisujących każdy system wspomagania satelitarnego: dokładność, wiarygodność, ciągłość I dostępność. Niedoskonałości systemu zostały przedstawione w odniesieniu do poprawy bezpieczeństwa transportu powietrznego w najdelikatniejszej fazie lotu – podejścia do lądowania. Powyższa procedura z wykorzystaniem system wspomagającego otwiera szansę rozwoju małym i średnim portom lotniczym w Europie Zachodniej uniezależniając podejście do lądowania od infrastruktury lotniskowej. Podejście instrumentalne APV składa się z czterech faz lotu: Podejście Początkowe, Podejścia Pośredniego, Podejścia Końcowego, Odlotu po Nieudanym Podejściu. System wspomagania satelitarnego, jako pierwszy wspomóc może także fazę Podejścia Końcowego, która jest najniebezpieczniejszą, najważniejszą fazą opartą na urządzeniach pokładowych w większości bez widoczności terenu. EGNOS wspomaga działanie GPS poprawiając niezbędne czynniki: dokładność, wiarygodności, dostępności, ciągłości przewidzianych w procedurach APV. Podejście oparte o EGNOS jest jedyną, niedrogą szansą dla małych i średnich polskich portów lotniczych, na rozwój w sektorze transportu powietrznego w nawiązaniu do rozszerzenia i poprawy czynników wyżej wymienionych.

Opis:
The path following control problem of the underactuated unmanned surface vessel (USV) is studied in this paper. An improved line-of-sight (LOS) guidance algorithm is proposed which can adjust adaptively based on the path following error. The global asymptotically stable path following controller is designed based on the nonlinear backstepping method and the Lyapunov stability theory. Firstly, the USV path following error model is established in the Serret-Frenet (SF) coordinate frame. The path following error in the inertial coordinate frame is transformed into the SF coordinate frame, which is used to define the path following control problem. Secondly, inspired by the traditional LOS guidance algorithm, the longitudinal path following error in the SF coordinate frame is introduced into the improved LOS guidance algorithm. This allows the algorithm to adjust adaptively to the desired path. Thirdly, in order to solve the underactuated problem of the USV path following control system, the tangential velocity of the desired path is designed as a virtual input. The underactuated problem is converted to a virtual fully actuated problem by designing the virtual control law for the tangential velocity. Finally, by combining backstepping design principles and the Lyapunov stability theory, the longitudinal thrust control law and the yaw torque control law are designed for the underactuated USV. Meanwhile, the global asymptotic stability of the path following error is proved. Simulation experiments demonstrate the effectiveness and reliability of the improved LOS guidance algorithm and the path following controller.
